Literature / Short Story Writer Needed (We Pay In Dollars Now) - $80 Per Story by JackRyan(m): 9:28am On Dec 08, 2022
Hi there.

We’re looking for skilled fiction writers to write American-grade fiction. Pay starts at $0.01/word. You can earn up to $0.015/word if you’re productive and your monthly output is good.

Just last month, I paid a writer N720k for writing short stories.

If you’ve ever written a novel or a novella or a short story before, regardless of genre, this will be a good fit for you. We’re looking for people who can spin a good yarn, complete with hook, tension, climax, and everything in between. We’re also looking for writers who are concise and to the point, not writers who fill up their stories with fluff just to hit their word count targets. We especially have good practice rooting out these writers.

We’ll share more details about the project once we’re sure you’re a good fit for our project. But here’s how this is going to work…

You’ll send us two short, separate samples of your fiction work as an attachment to: indingocreek@gmail.com. No calls, PMs or WhatsApp, please.

If your sample is very good, you’ll be selected to do 2 paid trial samples. These sample will be paid at a rate of N5/word. Once you submit your sample and it is reviewed, you’ll get paid. Note that getting paid doesn’t translate into getting hired. If your trial sample is bad, we’ll still pay you, but we won’t be hiring you.

If we’re impressed by your trial sample, we’ll do a second paid trial story. Again, we’ll pay for this regardless of if it’s good or bad. But if it’s good, you’ll be hired for a probationary period of two months. During this period, if you fail to produce high quality works, we’ll terminate your contract. If not, then you’re in. Also, you'll be paid on a weekly basis or per story (at our normal rate of $0.01/word), whichever one you like. If you prefer an escrow, then we'll do that. Just so long as you're a top quality writer, we don't have any qualms putting you at ease that you're getting your money. Although, we won't be paying you before service. So, there's that. Also, you'll be paid in dollars (we only accept PayPal or Payoneer).

For dom account payments, you have 2 options. We can pay you per story, but you'll have to incur the transfer fees. Why? Because 1 story is about $80. Transfer fees can be as much as 30$. Really no sense is spending 30$ to pay you 80$. Second option is to allow your money to accumulate to at least 1,000$, after which we'll make the transfer for free. But if you're worried about not getting your money, we can always transfer to PayPal or Payoneer or any US bank account.

After the probationary period of 2 months (by now you should already have trust for us. Abi?), payment will revert back to monthly basis.

Finally, we’re looking for people who can write a lot in a month. At least 50,000 words, but we’ll give priority to applicants who can do more. So in your email, tell us how many words you can write in a month. There’s no limit to how much you can write in a month.

If you write above 50,000 in a month, every word above that will be paid at $0.015/word.

There’s no limit to how much you can write in a month.

We’re only looking to hire 5 writers at this time. So, send in your applications now. And perhaps you read this ad several days later, still send your application. You never know if we’ve been able to fill out the 5 posts. And even if we were, we never say ‘no’ to an excellent writer.

I've gotten some really great and productive writers from here. I'm looking to expand a little. I need 2 more writers. Please, email me if your writing is professional and clean. No punctuation, grammar, tenses, and so on issues, please. Email me. Thanks.

PS: I'm doing an offer for my writers this month of up to N12.5/word (if they meet a certain target). So if you're really prolific and excellent, you can jump on this offer, too.

I think you've misunderstood me. I mean, your first two stories will be paid upon submission. So, you submit your first story, you get paid. You submit your second story, you get paid. From then on, payment will be made on a monthly basis.

How much can you do in a month? I might be willing to reconsider the word count if you're writing is really good.

Literature / Fiction Job Alert: Earn Up To N10/word Writing Short Stories by JackRyan(m): 3:45pm On Aug 26, 2021
I'm seeking writers who can write up to 100k words per month.

The stories are simple short stories. Word range per story should be 5,000 to 8,000 words. Each story should be self-contained. No sequels. The genre is flexible and up to you. But no fantasy. No magic. Stories should explore the world and issues within it, like piracy, terrorism, food security, racism, etc, but in a fun and comical way. You get? Plot is entirely up to you.

Pay is N5/word for the first 50k words. Then N7.5/word for the next 50k words. If you happen to exceed 100k words, pay increases to N10/word for every word after that within a month cycle. I also give bonuses because I like to reward hard-work. So writers who hit up to 100k per month will get huge bonuses for their commitment and dedication.

I'll provide you with a brief on the world and the project. I'll also provide you with a cast of up to 1000 characters with details. Your job will be to formulate stories based on any one or more of these characters. Each story must be between 5k to 8k words. Never exceed 8k words.

Your first 2 stories will be paid upon submission and editing. Stories after that will be paid on a monthly cycle.

I'll also send you a sample story so you see what we're going for.

I'm not interested in big grammar. All I want is simple fun stories with intriguing plots that will keep my audience captivated.

But all that is secondary to this: can you meet up to 100k words per month? If yes, email me at indingocreek@gmail.com with your name, location, phone number, and a short sample of your story in 3rd person past tense.

I need 3 strong and dedicated writers. The first, best 3 writers that come into my email will get this gig.

Looking forward to your emails.

Thanks.

Literature / [HIRING] 2 High Quality Fiction Writer Needed (rate: N5/word) by JackRyan(m): 1:00pm On Mar 31, 2021
The subject says it all.

This job is to write short stories of 2,000 - 4,000 words each. There's no limit to how many stories you can write in a month. All ideas have to be ingenious and no plagiarism is allowed. I will check all stories.

Also, you have to be a great writer. I will ONLY be responding to writers who have clean, no-errors samples that are interesting and intriguing.

Shortlisted writers will be required to do a paid sample short story. Only writers who demonstrate a good command of English and an understanding of the elements of fiction will be employed.

There's room for payment increment, depending on dedication, quality of work, and turn-around time.

Payment is usually monthly, before 15th of the next month. However, your first 5 stories will be paid immediately to build trust. But after this, we'll accumulate and payout before the 15th of the new month.

To apply, send me TWO short samples of your unique fiction story to indingocreek@gmail.com. Please, also tell me your name, your location, and how long you've been writing. You can include a phone number, too.

Thanks, and I look forward to reading your stories.

PS: I'm open to bringing on more than 2 writers, so don't be afraid to apply.

Yes ofcourse. Depends on a lot though, and you're gonna be facing a whole lot more challenges but it can work.

Age is not just a number. This becomes really apparent when the age difference is not 1 or 2 but 10 and above.
