Thanks a bunch. Pls chief, which of my certificates do you think will give me a better assessment considering my Degree is in Economics and going for a Finance role?

tunlex01:

Please check AITSL website for the requirements for Secondary School teacher. You should assess as an Accountant or finance manager to add to your spouse's points and both of you can be primary applicants.
Travel / Re: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by jadell: 9:05am On Jan 19, 2020
Thanks for your prompt response. My wife currently work as a Secondary school Maths teacher.
tunlex01:

Sincerely, no state is currently nominating Accountant except you have a job offer because it's the most competitive role in Australia here.
With your age and qualifications, you are likely not gonna full 15 points from any of the assessing bodies but it's good if you start the assessment process. You can add extra 10 points to your wife's points if you get competent English and positive assessment.
Of course, you will get a positive assessment, but the approved years of experience is what you will find out after the result is released.
You will also need to write IELTS Academic or PTE for a skill assessment with any of the 3 accounting bodies.

What's your wife experience, you only mentioned her qualifications?
Travel / Re: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by jadell: 8:42pm On Jan 18, 2020
Good day everyone,

Please I need some clarifications regarding my best course of action here;

I have Bsc in Economics from Olabisi Onabanjo University (formerly Osu), 2003
Accounting Technician Scheme certificate from ICAN in 2008
MBA (finance ) from OAU in 2014
ICAN ACA 2017

I currently work in an O&G Company as a Senior Financial Accountant with more than 10 years experience.

Less I forget, I am 43 years old, married with 3 kids and my wife currently works with LASG with NCE (Economic/Maths) 2002, Bed(sc) Economics with more than 10 years experience, and she is 40 years old.

Could you kindly advise.......which of the above will give me a better chance in terms of Assessment. Looking at 491 visa category as an Accountant.

If u have the money i will advise u to go for one inch square pipe, i dont think the difference is that much. But i still prefer the square pipe to thick pipe.

Thanks. Though it's actually a square pipe, I only think the 1 inch square pipe will be a bit bogus.

I think size is a major factor. What are the sizes?

The pipe is three-quarter while the square rod is 14mm.

Square or Round pipe.
Location varies with price.
Try getting another quote from a different fabricator/welder.

If you're so interested in using the guy you can bargain within the range of #280-#350k.

Square pipe. He was the one that did my gate and told him i was ready to pay 320k. He said people might be willing to do it a cheaper rate but how can I be sure of the thickness of the materials they will use.

Thanks I really appreciate.

There are various types of pipe and sizes.
Kindly specify......

We agreed on 1 inch pipe for the perimeters and probably three-quater for the partitioning.

He is not ready to break it down for whatever reasons known to him. The biggest window (5X5 )should not be more than 15k max and the toilet windows around 10k but what do I know.

Good morning house, please how reasonable is the quote of 400k for the construction of the following window size burglary:

4X5....12
5X5.....3
2X3.....6.

We agreed that he is going to use pipe and it's a simple design nothing special!.

Thanks

Please go for POP. It's safer, more durable and look good aesthetically. I considered using Innoson for part of my project, but when I got a quote from them and compared it with the cost of doing POP, I had to beat a retreat. If you don't have all the fund at once, you can realise the project in bits. I have completed now almost 300 square meters

Thanks. Mine is just like 220sqmt for my duplex, I don't have energy for the attached 2 units of 3 bedrooms for now.

I am going with POP, they are starting next week.
