who are the "you folks" and the "you all" you are referring to?
did this happen...."Former President Buhari indeed launched commercial operations of the Abuja light project in 2018, invalidating Wike’s insinuation that there was no previous inauguration of commercial operation of the metro line." I can't repeat what I said, simply go back and read my statements. |

franchasofficia: Why do you Tinubu supporters love to lie so so much? Why? Them use lie swear for una?
Peter Obi won 2023 Presidential election and his supporters insisted he won and were all in high spirit waiting to hit the streets of Nigeria to protest as some even started rallying in Abuja and calling Obi to give them a go ahead to unleash mother of all protests even as Obi's running mate Datti Ahmed supported a nationwide protest. What did Peter Obi do? Obi told his supporters to go home and remain calm that he will fight the illegality through the court, that there was no need for them to start a protest and expose themselves to life threatening risks with the security.
But here is a lying demon lying against Obi even when the truth is known to all.
But the same Tinubu, Buhari and Amaechi swore that if APC is not declared winner in 2015 Presidential election, that they will form a parallel government and not accept the outcome of the election.
You guys should continue lying, God will reply you all. Continue telling lies out of your hatred for Igbos Did obi defend his supporters aggression on TV or not? He defended them being aggressive towards anyone, u want to deny that? Obi won the election? So why didn't you all turn up in court as witnesses when he was struggling to produce witnesses? Obi Iost woefully. Live with it. Your protests would have cost you more harm than good because you all know he lost. |

43Ronin: Bros I experienced military rule and I can tell you that it's far better than what we have now. At least you know you don't have the right to protest and you know the military is the law. In democracy you protest army will still kill you like you in military rule. Army mess up they chop beating & they lock the entire plaza down, arrest , detain & interrogate people without constitutional powers. In military rule you will liase with a military lawyer who will ensure you get out of interrogation according to military law. You talk about abach? Please do your research! Despite what Abacha stole unemployment was in single digits, fuel was 11 naira, security was top notch & inflation rate was 8%. When OBJ became president, he took fuel from 11 to 40 naira stole billions in power sector reform. Also there were no touts in Lagos too.I have placed the data side-by-side please place yours let's compare I don't remember mentioning Abacha, did I? I don't remember people protesting and army kiIIed them. Was #11/L under Abacha cheap? Nigeria withdrew from 1996 AFCON because of military rule. Give us examples of how a common liased with military lawyers and got out. Do you have any idea the amount the Abacha you mentioned stoIe? Do u have any idea the amount the military governors were stealing? There have always been touts in Nigeria unless you want to prètènd, since time immemorial, there have always been touts. During the military era, a soldier on two weeks off duty can go back to his place and snatch a woman from someone who has already prepared marriage, are you aware of that? Are you aware that soldiers pick whatever they like in markets without paying? It was Abacha who hanged Ken Saro Wiwa because of his role in the Movement for the Survival of the Ogoni People, which sought a share of oil money for the ethnic group whose traditional lands lie over oil deposits. He imprisoned several journalists, activists etc, he started this unending wàr with South Africa today, you talk about peace and security? The military was more of a threat than any group in Nigerîà. Maitatsine crises happened during the military era, that was how peaceful your military regime was. How great was development? Nigeria was just a rural country. The infrastructural decay that pegged Nigeria behind it's equal such as; Singapore, Malaysia etc happened majorly with the military regime, the agricultural decay that generated hunger happened with the military, I can go on and on and on. |

franchasofficia: No doubt Prof Wole Soyinka is known globally due to his youthful exploits, and that is why I said he is living in his past glory, he ought to have left the stage long time ago when the ovation was still very high for him. As at today, Prof Wole Soyinka has lost the respect of millions of people who once revered him, I am one of them.
I don't care about his position on Nnamdi Kanu matter, I am not here to fight for Igbo tribe, Nnamdi Kanu is fighting a cause he believes in and it comes at a price and he is paying the price already, so if it is his destiny to achieve his goal, he will, but if it's not, that's his cross to bear but be rest assured that Nnamdi Kanu's death or whatever will never bring an end to Biafra agitation. 2023 Presidential election would have buried Biafra agitation forever, Nigeria missed the opportunity because of one man's unnatural ambition.
Back to Prof Wole Soyinka's criticisms of Obi, if you are asked to comment on it, does he and that other foolish fugitive called Reno Omockery make any sense? To them, Peter Obi is a man of impeccable character no doubt but his supporters are dangerous and incompetent and for that, Peter Obi should never become President.
Can't you see that they are not being objective, instead they are being petty and tribal? First and foremost, I will gladly support your Biafra agitation in whatever way I can, we want your agitation to stay alive, an agitation millions of people are willing to throw into the bin to fulfill one man's grèèd, shows how much of an agitation it is. If Obi can't control his followers but rather supporting them and defending them on TV stations, he don't deserve to be president. The major reason GEJ rose so high in the world after losing presidential elections is because he sued for peace when those around him wanted otherwise, Obi is clearly the opposite of that. His followers cost him the last election and he wiII keep Iosiñg, that's Soyinka's point. A Nobel laureate in Literature will forever remain on the stage, you think it's a musical career where people retire? He critîcizèd Buhari, you all clapped for him, now he critîcizèd Obi, he has suddenly become bad. |

Egypt didn't build Suez Canal, I don't know what you have been reading and I don't know how the canal made it into this discussion because Nigeria was not even existing when this canal was built. How much has Egypt made from it's new capital? Yet if it is done in Nigeria today, you all will criticize it because you don't like the government just like you are all critîcizing the coastal highway. The reason why Egypt is building a new capital as cited by El-sisi is to decongest Cairo and accommodate growing population, if that attempt is made in Nigeria to decongest Lagos today, you all will cry and cry but will praise Egypt for it. |

phorget: The first thing to check for is the ROI regarding every investments, definitely they would have considered the ROI before embarking on such development. However can we really say same thing about Nigeria? the level of embezzlement would have killed every intended profit even before kick off. What has happened to the rail line built from Nigeria to Niger? What about the other rail line that was attacked by some bandits sometimes ago? what are the ROI on those infrastructures?
The next one is the white elephant project tagged COASTAL HIGHWAY, theres no crime in building infrastructures with loan but the problem is accountability on the part of the government, unfortunately they cant really be trusted. The comment I replied didn't talk about ROI, rather he's against using loans to build infrastructures, countries build infrastructures on debts, that's the point. On the part that the money will be embezzled is understood, but that was not his point. Kano-Maradi rail is under construction, if every single project is put under ROI, most infrastructures won't be standing, leadership is always easy when you are sitting in the crowd, there are infrastructures that are there to boost the presence of other infrastructures or to make other infrastructures relevant. That's how it is. |

Racoon: The richest states in Nigeria are the main drivers of this wealth, significantly contributing to sectors such as tourism, cultural heritage, education, and intellectualism. These states, with their robust economies and developed infrastructure, play a crucial role in the nation’s economic prowess.
Their rankings are determined by major industries, contributions to the national GDP, and the abundance of natural resources.
1. Lagos State — GDP: ₦41.17 trillion 2. Rivers State — GDP: ₦7.96 trillion. 3. Akwa Ibom State — GDP: ₦7.77 trillion 4. Imo State — GDP: ₦7.68 trillion 5. Delta State — GDP: ₦6.19 trillion 6. Anambra State — GDP: ₦5.14 trillion 7. Ondo State — GDP: ₦5.10 trillion. 8. Ogun State — GDP: ₦5.03 trillion 9. Bayelsa State — GDP: ₦4.63 trillion 10. Niger State — GDP: ₦4.58 trillion https://businessday.ng/news/article/top-10-richest-states-in-nigeria-ranked-by-gdp/ Only one lgb0 state is in Top 5, only two in top 10 but Nigeria's GDP grew because there were lgb0s in government, all lgb0 states should be in top 5 to buttress your theory. |
