Catapault: Stop being an imbeci.le.
Indians, Chinese, Japanese etc, do not reason like this your cockroach reasoning.
They do not say “Oh because we use this or that aspect of western convention, therefore we must dress like them, talk like them, and wear their hair on top of our heads!”
Chinese borrowed heavily from western technology. Do you see them struggling to speak English or borrow christian religion or Islam etc?
NO.
They take what they need from outside while maintaining their cultural independence and dignity.
Learn from them! The Chinese, Indians, Japanese, Americans etc did not reject those dresses because "they are colonial relics" this where ur f00Iishness comes to the fore. They didn't use it because it was inconvenient for them in so many ways, hygiene wise due to the nature of some legal practitioners traveling distances to preside over cases, it was not convenient for them in terms of hot seasons, it was expensive to maintain, some of the early users that rejected it in those countries rejected it because it "makes them look like rats peeping from a hole", some argued it made them look like women because those ages, women were not presiding over legal proceedings. Then you have Africa where their sole reason for rejecting it is because "it's a colonial relic" are u not f00Iish for rejecting colonial relic while keeping the court and the legal system? They are all colonial relic. That's a proverbial case of saying you don't eat lizard but will eat the stew wherein the lizard was prepared. Pàthètic. I will advise you to put on a functional bràîn before arguing, so far with your tons of replies on this post, you seem to have a functionless bràîn that's why you keep making Iame comparisons with other countries. Other countries maintained their culture according to you, the court, the legal code, the legal proceedings has no place in our culture, it is all borrowed, if u are so loud about rejecting colonial relics while maintaining our culture, then you have faiIed woefully when applying that to the court. |

Catapault: So the continent will grow if you wear English wigs on your heads?
I mean, the way you people reason is so embarrassing.
India uses the British common law system, but don’t wear the wigs.
The USA same.
Remind us again why you think you should wear them? The continent will grow by removing the wigs? I haven't said not to wear the wig or wear it. Removing the wig solely because "it's a colonial relic" while you keep the court, the legal system et'al is profound f00Iishness. "Innocent until proven guilty" is a colonial relic, I'm thinking we should reject it because it's a colonial relic too. Legal proceedings are colonial relic, we should do away with them too right? Remind me again why think we should keep the Court, the legal codes and system since we are hell bent on doing away with colonial conventions. The way u reason is a plague to the society. |

Useless Nigerian youth.
Wasted generation. Are you sure you have any idea what colonialism is? |

Catapault: EXACTLY.
Self-respect breeds honesty and dignity.
When you are coming from a position of indigenously - generated Honour, Dignity, Self-Respect, and Pride, you will be less likely to abuse your position than if you are operating under borrowed colonial conventions. "Borrowed colonial conventions" include the court and the legal codes and system. Unless you do away with all of it, you are still "operating under borrowed colonial conventions". |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Burkina Faso Lawyers And Judges Now Wear African Attire In Court (Photos) by JagabanBorgu: 6:21pm On Mar 01, 2025 |
This is laughable. The legal code came to MOST African countries through colonial rule, it's a colonial remnant. The Court is also a colonial remnant but Africans in their profound wisdom think that removing the wig which came along with the court but keeping the court and the legal system is seen as a "challenge outdated colonial practices". This is why the continent doesn't really grow. |

lwisee: We are not buying this nonsense. Since yesterday, a lot of you guys have been trying to defend Apabio and try to change the narrative. Apabio is a well known Randy man.
Seems we forget things so fast in this country. I remember the female Ex NDDC boss once said she slapped him when he tried harassing her sexually. Here is the link to the video.

Politics › Re: APC Lost All Three Senatorial Seats To PDP While El-Rufai Was Governor - Sani by JagabanBorgu: 5:01pm On Mar 01, 2025 |
AMINDA: Elrufai never supported BAT because PDP won Kaduna? Who did Sanwo-olu, Gbaja and all the Lagos boys support in Lagos? Why did Tinubu lose Lagos to Obi and Osun to Atiku? Elrufai was not on the ballot, Tinubu was, except you expected him to rig the elections like in Rivers. Before you come and say "but APC retained all senate seats in Lagos", just know that the fact that APC won all the Senate seats in Lagos even proves how Lagosians were intentional about not voting Tinubu, specifically. They had nothing against other APC contestants. Tinubu was grossly unpopular and we all know GRV would have won the gubernatorial but for voter intimidation and suppression.
Elrufai will not be on the ballot in 2027 but Northerners who ditched their son, Atiku and supported Tinubu due to the influence of Elrufai in 2023 will simply take their votes elsewhere. Betrayals have consequences. "Before you come and say "but APC retained all senate seats in Lagos", just know that the fact that APC won all the Senate seats in Lagos even proves how Lagosians were intentional about not voting Tinubu, specifically" All of a sudden, we then see "Tinubu was grossly unpopular and we all know GRV would have won the gubernatorial but for voter intimidation and suppression." Previously, we had "Elrufai was not on the ballot, Tinubu was". 1. Lagosians were intentional about not voting Tinubu, that's why others won. 2. GRV would have won against another candidate that's not Tinubu if not for voter's intimidation and oppression, where are you really standing? |
Politics › Re: Akpabio V Natasha: Candidly Advise Akpabio To Retreat or Resign by JagabanBorgu: 4:55pm On Mar 01, 2025 |
Validated: Akpabio should know that Natasha is a daughter of a Ukranian woman, who was trained under USSR Era. Anyone who knows about KGB, should be scared about that generation of Ukrainians. They are FREEDOM FIGHERS, all of them. Before that woman went of Arise to accuse Akpabio, she has concrete and incontrovertible evidences.
We advise Madam Unoma to retreat and let Mr Akpabio carry his cross, because what Joy Numeh did not have, Natasha has. It would be devastating for the Senate president when those evidences begin to fly in the social media.
To Senator Akpabio, just find a soft-landing for this matter to slide, if not, your whatsapp messages, text messages, video calls, etc will soon hit Facebook market place. Why don't you write this advice in form a formal letter and forward it to the national assembly with your details? Better still, forward it to Akpabio or his wife, it will be more useful. |

Politics › Re: Summary Of What Caused The Biafran War by JagabanBorgu: 7:26pm On Feb 28, 2025 |
gidgiddy: What you are calling 'riot', was also a massacre. Google what happened to Igbo lives and businesses in the 1945 Jos riots. It also doesn't matter if you call the Kano massacre a North/South thing, Igbos were massacred in it. That Yorubas rarely complain when massacred by Northerners and has nothing to do with us
But at least we all now know that Nigerians were already killing each other before Independence. The country was already a disaster even before the colonial masters left, and has remained a disaster to this day The loss of two Iives is not a "massacre" did you attend a school at all? Every record calls it "riot". The Kano issue was targeted at Yorubas immediately Akintola visited Kano he was àttàcked, so many tribes from the south were affected but lgb0s carried it on their head to spin victimization story. And lgb0s made sure there's no way out of the country so we should blame lgb0s. |

Unfortunately a whole lot of tactics were deployed in 2023 to disenfranchise people. Those involved and those who supported such animalistic behaviors should be ashamed of themselves. Hope this government is sure favoring them "I hope one day every single eligible voter will have the freedom to vote the candidate of their choices" then same you went ahead to pin this accusation on those who supported the current government meanwhile, so many voters who planned to vote APC in SE were warned not to go to polling units, some were shamed and made an object of mockery. Same people cûrsed any voter who was not voting their preferred candidate on the internet on daily basis but somehow, you are talking about candidates having freedom to vote their choice yet you are attempting to pin it on a particular group of people. Are you sure you know what you want? |

The one Nigerianist wants the continuation of a failed colonial contraption that had cost millions of lives and brought untold suffering on many more. The only ones who blocked referendum and made it a crime in this country happened to lgb0s, you are the actual unity beggars, lgb0s were just a collection of hostile hamlets and villages before Nigeria was made meanwhile other parts of Nigeria had successful kingdoms and empires that were lost to form Nigeria, u lots insisted breaking away is a crime and treason but today you want to spin the story. |

The post made me laugh. The iIIitracy of lgb0s is shown in their lack of knowledge about basics. 1945 is called "Jos Riot" not "massacre". 1953 was targeted at Yoruba in Kano, it was more of North vs South crises. The south wants independence while the north objected and even wanted secession, today, lgb0s are claiming victims as usual. If u lots had stayed in your homes, wouId there be kiIIings of lgb0s anywhere? |
