It annoys me when people write a lot of short messages. It is possible to write everything in one message using several sentences. For this reason I turned on mute mode on my phone

A form of spamming. I think people do that sometimes because they feel the recipient would not go through a very long message. But yeah it can be annoying.

I don't know if guys do this but I know of girls that do..
They deliberately ignore a text (or leave it on read) just to see if the guy would double text. Or on Whatsapp, they may ignore his text and post things like "not doing well" or "feeling sick" on their status and expect him to respond to that. If he fails to, they could get mad and even hold a grudge.

Substituting letters for another in words, like "5ne" instead of just saying "fine". Some replace the letter 'S' with 'X'. Saying "Xup" or "Xom1". Like WTF, mehn!

Concerning my use of abbreviations, I understand why it looks contradictory to what I said earlier. And at first glance, it does.
But I said that I find it hard to flow with people who abbreviate WAY TOO MUCH (that's the key part bruv). Most of us use these while texting, yeah, but some people "overdo" it and it really kills the vibe for me.

Of course everyone has different opinions on what counts as as "too much". Three may be too much for some people, so their criticisms would still be valid.

Like instead of letting them hug you straight on (their body in front of yours), you kind of maneuver yourself so your body is kinda beside theirs and your arm is around their neck, with your second arm on their back. (I really hope you can visualize what I'm trying to describe). A side-hug kind of thing. It could be awkward but that should be a bit better lol.

If they try to initiate it though, just step to your right (out of their arms) and do the side-hug. You'll have also sent a message that you do not necessarily appreciate that sort of full body contact.
