You're not wrong, it's frustrating. The reason it's so on-and-off is that many sites (G2A especially, because it's a marketplace with lots of fraud) block cards by their BIN, the first 6 digits that identify the issuer. When too many people use one card provider on a site, it gets flagged and suddenly stops working for everyone.

A few things that sometimes help:

1. Use the exact billing address your card provider gives you. A mismatch is one of the most common reasons for declines.
2. Try the other network. If your Visa fails, a Mastercard virtual card sometimes goes through, or the reverse.
3. Make sure the card has a bit more than the total. Some sites do a small test charge first.
4. Turn off VPN if you use one. A location mismatch triggers fraud checks.
5. On G2A specifically, check if they accept your card through another payment option at checkout; they support a few.

No virtual card works everywhere 100% of the time, honestly. Which card were you using last on G2A, Visa or Mastercard?

If he uses band E he is supposed to spend around #80 but he will not get even 2 hours of electricity on that band, meaning he will have to spend over #14000 in buying fuel to power his refrigerator, let's not talk about the generator's maintenance cost for now.

Now answer these questions.
If given an option why wouldn't such a business choose Band A over Band E? What do you think is stopping such business from switching to Band A, where he will spend less on reliable power?
