Update - my sister's visa application was rejected for the below reasons. My mum and sister will need to collect their passports on their own next week (they didn't allow my sis to collect all three) but I'm expecting a refusal for them as well. No tears to waste - I'm already executing my plan B (2 wks holiday with them in Dubai). It's France's loss, we'll take our tourist $ elsewhere

Give it time - they'll get back to you. Yesterday was a public holiday in France so both VFS and the embassy were closed Donbaba123: I applied since Tuesday i haven’t get any text that my application has been dispatch to France Embassy still at Vfs.

Oh I somehow missed this...this has given me small hope. Arbitrix: Silent reader here.
So I'm a first time traveller to the Schengen area but a frequent traveller to other places eg UK, US, etc.
Timeline: Went for biometrics on 17 May Visa Issued 20 May Picked up today 24 May
Submitted: Bank Statements Letter from employer Personal letter of introduction Pension statement Share statement Employment and confirmation letters Office Id Insurance Accommodation and flight bookings Travel itinerary
With a single entry visa I can still visit multiple Schengen countries but can't leave and re-enter with the same visa abi? |

Hello all. Biometrics were submitted just last Wednesday, May 18th and we've just received text notification that the passports have been dispatched back to VFS from France Embassy. Fear dey catch me...my heart just dey jump "gbim gbim gbim". The processing was so fast, just 3 business days - does it mean that the visas were denied? Surely, they would have taken more time if they were going to say yes and approve? I'm shaking...please house what do you think? |
