Good morning bro, Please am planning on traveling to Dubai with 3 months visa on July. Im a bachelors degree holder and I would like to look for a job with my certificate. The question now do I need to legalize my documents in other to use it to apply for a job?If yes which of the ministry do I need to do that? quote author=Bharbiepi post=112851153]Please don't mislead people, Nigerians are getting jobs steady. You just need to advise people to prepare and know what they really want and what will work for them. You might be talking from experience but trust me, we all can't have the same experience. That's life. I can say the only issue now is the 2years visa that is not available for Nigerians and that's why people are applying and getting jobs in free zone companies that offer 3-year resident visa and free zone companies are the ones that can easily process work visa for Nigerians right now. Another route is to get a partner visa on your own and use the visa to work with any company. Nigerians that know what they are doing are making it and comfortable in this country. #love & [/quote] |

It's good that you want to do that, it will brighten your chances of securing job over there. |

Good day everyone, I'll be traveling to Dubai next week on a 3 months visa. As a first time traveler, I have a few questions to ask. 1. Do I need a hotel reservation to present at POE? If yes, how many days is okay? (Note: I intend renting shortlet apartment when I get in). 2. Are there other requirements aside covid test result? 3. What are some food items that I can, or cannot bring into the Emirates? Thanks in advance for your swift response. |
Re: QATAR AND UAE GENERAL VISA ENQUIRIES Part 3 by NONNYG: 2:09pm On May 31, 2022 |
Chuksmission: 1. No, (except for 9ja immigration might want to extort you if you're a first time traveller) 2. I will advise you to check with your airline 3. Red oil (they will seize it in 9ja airport) |

NONNYG:Thanks so much |
Re: QATAR AND UAE GENERAL VISA ENQUIRIES Part 3 by freedomtours(m): 2:44pm On May 31, 2022 |
Chuksmission: 1 you don't need to do reservation, if you are flying from Abuja here better as a first timer. 2 Apart from PCR test, you need Yellow card 3 don't go with red oil and drugs. |

This might not be necessary till you get a job and it also depends on the kind of company you finally get to work with. For instant, if you get a job as a manager, accountant, and so on, they will request for your attested certificate to apply for your visa so the same profession can appear on your residence and EID. But if you are unable to do attestation of result and you just submit like that, they might have to put another profession on the visa but that won't affect or change anything in your job. Chuksmission:Please carry your legal drugs and whatever medication you are using or need as far as they are not illegal drugs. Put them in your check in luggage. No one disturbs you unless it's of large quantity for commercial purposes. As for oil, you can use small 2 or 3 few plastic containers of 750ml bottles to package your oil and put in check in luggage. Its usually problem in local airports or if you "jons" while entering the airport. 3 Likes |

Uwaiwe:Yes, I have finally received my Emirates ID. The new format with chips that serves also as residence permit. It's a two year residence visa and issued from Abu Dhabi Emirates. There's nothing like embargo on Nigerians residence visa. If took less than 3 weeks to process it. Nigerians be of good character wherever you are living and we all shall prosper. 3 Likes |

Uwaiwe:To a large extent, there is actually embargo on Nigerian passport holders. Success rate of your renewal or new visa application depends on a number of factors which include, but not limited to, the company you work for, the emirates you work/live in, your profession etc. You most likely work for ADNOC. |

GRANE: Freelance visa serves for the purpose that you are seeking for. Since you said you don’t want to work for anybody There is 2/3 Freelance but you have to enter Dubai first with or 3 months visa before it can be processed. |
