Yea, sister happy to welcome you to this thread.

Writing in Efik, Annang or Ibibio is not too difficult. Once you can pronounce a word in these languages, and know the vowels (A,B,C emi nam de uyom), then you can write by following the sound of the word. Try the technique and see that it works.

We are not experts but only trying to represent our people on this Forum. So, feel free to always come and drop a word on this Thread.

Good suggestion.

Nigeria's democracy is too expensive. Our leaders earn huge salaries while civil servants earn peanuts,

Politics › Re: Ex-militants Expose Okah; He Cloned Mend’s E-mail by jamace(m): 7:02pm On Oct 10, 2010
It is clear that Okah masterminded the attack in conjuction with his financiers. Is it not possible for the govt to repatriate him to Nigeria for investigation/trial?
Politics › Re: Bomb Blasts: This Is My Story – Dokpesi by jamace(m): 6:33pm On Oct 10, 2010
Long and short of the matter is, Renaissance Network Group have been manipulated for the bombing. Dokpesi has admitted that the phonecall (sent by Edo Aroh) to do with if "the 4 million Naira had been collected from Dokpesi" is genuine, but he is claiming that the money referred to deposit for a campaign office in Bayelsa.
Also, despite Dokpesi's futile wriggles to the contrary, his very own words show an extensive relationship with a certain Eduware.

What I find most curious is, some folk (who Dokpesi didn't know from Adam) paid DAAR 1 million Naira for business, only for Dokpesi to pay them 500,000 Naira, because they were stranded in Abuja. Stop there!!!  shocked

Altogether, quite interesting!
Good summary there.

It means that Dokpesi has more questions to answer. The investigation is not over yet.
Politics › Re: Revealed: Why MEND Struck by jamace(m): 6:03pm On Oct 10, 2010
Those Ex-Militants that paraded themselves as MEND are nothing but EX-militants. The real MEND  never keyed into the Amnesty thing.GEJ is being Daft and Confused. But he  should not forget  that OKAH will come out some day and throw more light on this issue, only   will  the public know the  identity of the real Terrorists . GEJ has shot himself in the foot so badly
Okah can not claim to be MEND when he is living and enjoying himself in South Africa. He is first and foremost a gunrunner.

Acording to the Joint Revolutionary Council (JRC) "Henry Okah until recently was the lead arms supplier  to a faction of the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta. His faction of MEND  was led by General Boyloaf (Victor Ebikabowei) who has since disbanded his unit, which  represents the mainstream MEND and joined forces with the renewed efforts to bring peace,  stability and development to the Niger Delta”

Read this thread to know the previous and current relationship between Okah and the JRC.
https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-526963.0.html

As it stands now, Okah has no foot soldiers. He can only hire disgruntled elements, or even  mercineries, to assist him in his operation. And his operation is not for MEND but a personal biz from which he intends to make money for himself and his family.

Fortunately, he has agreed to have  caused  the bomb blast in Abuja, aided by his sponsors.
The FGN should ensure that he and his sponsors are brought to book.

Politics › Re: Revealed: Why MEND Struck by jamace(m): 5:04pm On Oct 10, 2010
So it is obvious now that Okah was involved in the bombing. Good.

The govt should ensure Okah discloses the names of his sponsors. We are aware that $100m was involved.

Slowly but steadily, we are getting to the truth.
Politics › Re: Is Ibb Courageous by jamace(m): 4:47pm On Oct 10, 2010
Which courage? He is a timid coward.

During the Buhari/Idiagbon rule, IBB was damn scared of Idiagbon. That was why he waited until Idiagbon went on Hajj before IBB carried out his coup, in the absence of Idiagbon.

IBB is only courageous to the extent to which Nigerians allow him.

One of my goals is to inspire people to be all that they can be and, hopefully, be a good example and teach some useful, interesting principles. Perhaps I can be the key that turns on the engine in their life, and then they can take their car where they want.

The challenges of change are always hard. It is important that we begin to unpack those challenges that confront this nation and realize that we each have a role that requires us to change and become more responsible for shaping our own future.

i have been meaning to post this as a rejoinder to those who keep blathering about saraki dynasty etal and 'kwara slaves'

so effing what?

its a democracy

political families abound everywhere

the kennedys
the bushes
the bhuttos
the ghandis

the kennedys for instance , if not for Roberts assassination and ted Chappaquiddick scandal, would almost certainly have fielded three presidents

the bushes have fielded two presidents and two governors
You are right, my bros. But you know how we do things in Naija naa - "I have chopped my own, come and chop your own". We don't care about leadership capabilty and efficiency. We talk about "Namu ne" (It is ours).
