The total population is totally irrelevant here. And I think we would agree that "tertiary education" does not mean quite the same in naija as it does in Norway, just as an example?Sure more realistic criteria will give different list, perhaps a more reliable one. "tertiary education" does not mean quite the same in naija as it does in Norway. I have to disagree with you on this one, tertiary education means the same thing anywhere in this world. Perhaps you might want to make a case for the quality of education but that's a different thing altogether. A graduate in Nigeria will never become a high school graduate anywhere in this world. |

Liekiller: This list is NONSENSE. It appears to be based mainly on "Percent population with tertiary education". Well, the more you lower the standard, the higher that percentage will be.Agree with you apart from the "the list is NONSENSE" part. IMO the list is fair enough if you consider the criteria used for the judgment. I am surprise people failed to recognize that this list is based on perceived percent of the educated populace with respect to the country's total population. For instance Israel and Sweden are less than 15million each, Canada is less than 50million while Korea is approximately 50million; Nigeria is more than the combined population of France and Germany. Only Japan and USA are the two countries with a population greater than 100million yet Nigeria is still more than Japan's population. For what it's worth, there are more educated Nigerians than the whole of Canada, however the uneducated Canadians <<<<<< uneducated Nigerians. |

GenOrumov: Yes we don't have good management but when (african) players reset their ages Ten years backward then even with good management, they will never be as good as those at their currently claimed ages.You couldn't have said it better. The problem young African players have, has little to do with management and more with their mendacity. Inasmuch as football requires skills, strength is just as important. How do you expect a 40-year man to compare with a 30-year old young lad. Truth be told, majority of our youth players are almost getting getting to their prime age when they get an opportunity to play at such international level. Are we unaware of the kind of society we have? Do you really think a 17-year old boy from nowhere can be given a chance at such level in Nigeria? I have always argued this with my friends; if Mark was a Nigerian, Facebook would not have come into existence. So let's stop all the unnecessary hype and face the reality. Iheanacho is great today, let's lionize him. If however, he later didn't live up to the Hype, let's not blame it on anything or anyone rather on out system who gave him the opportunity to come to limelight relatively too late. |

Just done with my test. All I can say is Thank God for everything. There were however some irregularities and unfairness in my test. 1. I registered for Management Trainee, was Invited for trainee test, but only for me to read the test instruction and discover I was going to write the Specialist test. 2. I had 30 question for 40Mins but I had to answer 20 + "1" Numerical and 9 verbal, its a bit unfair now some question as people have been complaining where also not complete. All in all I thankful to God for a successful test. I planned going to a cybercafe for the test but ended up doing the test in my room because MTN smiled on me this morning and my snai-like EDGE network became as fast as Success to others still to write theirs, just keep cool and calm. I almost lost composure when i was on Q17 with 9 minutes to go, and started messing things up but I told myself if i fail this one so be it, another will come by, and I regained composure and ended up guessing only the last question which was a pseudo-Numerical question. My last advice is, just keep calm and composed, we will all make it. 3 Likes |
