So long as (1) you are going to the same program at the same school and (2) you have a new I-20 to bring with you to the POE you should be fine with your current visa.

You should have flipped your answer and say what others don't offer that BYUI offers instead of what BYUI offers that others don't. It's obvious that he/she tested your ability to think through fast and give a concise answer the way he/she wants it. Qatar is ok, they got good customer care, I think flying them to the US pose no much problem now unlike some months back. The only issue is sometimes they can have very long layovers in Doha on your return. Do you mean travelling on the 16 to return by 22, or a one way within that date. Mention me to get a good fare

Has any body flied Quater Airways here? How is the experience? Generally? Customer service, delays, feedings, PoE issues.

Egypt air has a very terrible in-flight customer service and also in Cairo. They take it to a whole new level for Nigerians. I have not flown with them before but my clients reviews are terrible, and I have lost a lot of clients due to this. But since you have got your ticket, hope for the best but still expect the worst. Save trip in advance

Thanks for the response! i have done that already and they said its very much possible but I can get the new I-20 after the beginning of Fall.

I want to be sure of my chances before forgoing this term. If I may have issues renewing visa or at the PoE, i will rather go now and forfeit the job.

Hello Jamezy4u. Consult your school to see if deferment is possible and if they will issue a new I-20. If it won't, the rest of your question is moot.

It is going to be a one way ticket. Am going for a graduate study actually.
From Lagos (LOS) to Corpus Christi (CRP) straight is very expensive, reason I wanna break it to JFK and then to CRP finally.

Like I tell people, its not really about airport but favor, just like applying and getting visas. Immigration officers don't just go about searching or stressing out travelers from other country. Dress well, look responsible and do not attach to yourself anything suspicious.

If you looking at fare cost, JFK has cheaper fare than Miami and the airport of your final destination.

Thanks much for the response, However, please, I hope breaking journey like that will not raise any issue at the PoE?
Am actually a graduate student to study in CRP, straight flight will be very expensive, so decided to break like that so that it will be cheaper!

Wow I can't believe I got my visa. F1 Visa approved @ Lagos Consulate (6:30am batch). I was interview by the handsome guy in the last window 8. Transcript loading in a bit. Was denied by the VO in part 11 on nairaland because I ask "What a study plan is" but approved by VO @ the Lagos Consulate. It can only be God. Thanks to everyone especially @OluDare01, Nairaland VO for making all this possible. @Lagosismyhome I appreciate you too. Now that my Dad traveled and not around to issue instruction to bank, what do I do? we initially thought there will not be need to go along with another statement. If I tell the VO that I didn't come with any since we have sent to school, will that affect my chance? could it lead to denial or at worst another date to present that?
