Agree with Chux,
u need to do a lot of research. Do u need to ask people to tell you of biz opportunies while there are thousands of things one can do to earn a living. Selecting what to do depends on what you really want and what u can really deal with.

Before venturing into any biz you need to properly look at the social and economic benefits of that business. Then sit down with ur pen and paper and do some "cost and revenue analysis". That is what it will cost you to invest in this biz and then properly look at the returns that this biz can give you.

What are the challenges that u are likely to face in this biz or rather obstacles. They can be economical in terms of not enough fund, political, legal, physical chalenges and what have you. Can u cope with them and how will u do that?. People who jump into biz without proper evaluation end up as quiters.

YOU DECIDE WHAT YOU DO ; THINK ABOUT THIS

Thanx TOM, u have added something to peopl's life with this post.

I will like to add little and also encourage others to add theirs in other to motivate career men and women and teach them how to move forward in their career.  FOCUS is another ingredient that will help you achieve that dream level you want to attain. It is all about keeping your mind and eyes to what you want and adding consistent actions towards it.
Again, the use of MIND is very important in attaining your goals in life. As the sayin goes, " if you use your strenght, you can earn yourself a living and adding the use of your mind , you can get anything you want in life.
This year is a year for forward movement; we won't welcome stagnancy or backwardness.

Read and add yours, we all live to learn.

Business / Re: Starting a Business (For The Entrepreneurs) by janeobi2: 4:34pm On Feb 03, 2009
Starting a business is not for the chiky hearted. It is only for those who can organise their lives, beleiving in hardwork, focus, and setting their mind positively to overcome every challenges. I will say from experience in starting business you are likely not to see the money you are spending coming in. But as time goes on, you will be able to smile to the bank if you are able to correct ur mistakes and push harder for the gold mine.

To be a succesful enterprenuer did not depend on how many degree  you have bargaind but how are you able to make yourself an attractive personality to be able to sell yourself through in ur chosen carear. For example, as a sales man, you need to possess some attractive characters that will help you get more customers so easily.

STOCK SELECTION
Let us look at those issues an investor should consider before selecting his/her stocks for investment purpose. There are thousands of stocks listed in world wide exchanges and you need the concept of choice, that is selecting the stocks according to your investment objective. There are two methods of analysis which we will talk about in selection of stocks. TECHNICAL ANALYSIS AND FUNDAMENTAL ANALYSIS

Technical analysis makes use of the study of past and present price action to predict the future price action. This makes use of indicators on a chart to generate a buy/sell signal. For example, you can make use of volume to detect when to enter or exit a stock. A stock with an increased volume supported by an increase in its price shows a strong buying signal but when the volume start fading it indicates a sell signal. Also in technical analysis you look at 52 weeks low and high price to be able to gauge how far a stock can go. This analysis is mostly use by short term traders who enters a trade at low (support level) and exit at a high price(resistance level) thereby booking there profit.

Fundamental analysis is used by looking beyond the market charts into the companies historical performance and abilities to predict their future perforemance before investing in them. You do this by looking at the companies accounting reports, economic issues, news and events. Long term investors make more use of fundamental analysis to invest in dividend paying stocks and companies that can stand the test of time.
Investment / Re: Stock Market And Equity Fund by janeobi2: 4:48pm On Jan 12, 2009
There ar two ways to make money from the stock market. As a long term investor and as a short term investor. A long term investors buy stocks with good fundamentals and collects dividend from these companies when they are disclosed. You need to make sure that this company has a dividend paying history and also a good future prospects. Short term investors are stock traders who actively engage in business of stocks buying and selling stocks on price appreciation. They targets a stock at a low price and sells it at a high price making their profit therein.

Despite the downturn facing the stock market today, it is still a great farm land that have put resources in the pocket of the very rich worldwide like Warren Buffet, those who really know how to play the market. This bearish moment will not last forever because the market moves in cycles facing the bears and the bull. The earlier you brace yourself with the knowledge of the market now will help you so much in making right investment decisions that will yield so much for you in the long run.
