Blackberry had it coming. John Chen even tried in bringing back the company from near oblivion. He had no choice than to make the hard call. Going Android was inevitable for the Canadian Company.

I am a female techie

This is 2016, that means that there's literally an App for EVERYTHING!!!

It's funny 'coz it's True!

Here is a list of Apps you would LOOOVE to have on your phone.

1. Ladytimer: I wonna start with the ladies. This is an amazing App for you. It helps you track your cycle every month. It also have an online forum where ladies interact with each other.

2. Adobe Photoshop Express: This is for the photographers (like myself ) and selfie lovers that want that perfect photo finish! It is an App that was created by Adobe to enable photo lovers to edit their photos directly on their phone. It has different effects and tools + it is free (unlike the main Photoshop that is around $1,000).

3. Boom Player: This is for music lovers. I love the boom player mainly because it supports local artists. I also love it because it organizes my songs amazingly well.

4. Squats: This is for squat lovers. Where are Y'all at? This App helps motivate you and reminds you everyday that you need to SQUAT. All you need to go is hold your phone when you squat and it records it. It also calculates how many calories you burn daily.

This is my list, I might have missed some. Please tell me what YOUR favorite App is...

BlackBerry now wants to make affordable Android phones, but will anyone care?

In an effort to avoid becoming irrelevant in the ever-growing smartphone business, BlackBerry is turning to Android for its next device launches this year.

CEO John Chen told Abu Dhabi-based The National in an interview the company is working on two mid-range Android handsets, one with a full touchscreen and another with a physical keyboard.

So. Much. Tech.

But will anyone even want a BlackBerry later in 2016? The company’s latest device – the Android-based Priv which launched late last year – only sold about 600,000 devices last quarter. For comparison, Samsung’s Galaxy S7 is estimated to have shipped about 10 million devices since it was unveiled in February.

Chen is aware that the Priv is expensive. It cost $700 at launch and recently dropped to $649; the CEO said he’d heard from numerous customers that they wanted something for about $400.

Over the past year, it’s become increasingly clear that BlackBerry’s OS has fallen to the wayside. It currently accounts for only about 0.1 percent of the US smartphone market, and Facebook and WhatsApp announced that their apps would soon stop supporting the platform.

So, switching to Android and aiming for the mid-range segment seems like a good plan on paper. But BlackBerry will have to knock customers’ socks off with its next devices if it wants to stick around in the phone business.

Android handsets have got much better over the past year. It’s not uncommon to find a very capable 4G device with all-metal construction, a long-lasting battery and a decent camera for $150. BlackBerry will need to do a lot of homework to figure out how to win customers back.

The company is known for securing its devices better than most other brands and could gain an edge over the competition that way, but people may just not care enough to buy into it. According to a recent Reuters poll, only one in 10 Americans considered security to be the most important feature when buying a phone.

BlackBerry has its work cut out for it at this point, and 2016 will likely be the year in which it decides whether it can continue to build phones or ditch the hardware business entirely.

Honestly I can't bear the heat and odour whenever you typed message here, u know what, soak ur mouth with jik then bleach with hypo, u will then wash it with Ariel,dry it with hand drier,. Lastly,put salt in hot water, use it to wash and rinse thoroughly, then take 5 teaspoon of red/palm oil, go to toilet after 20minutes, "u are clean" ...

It was my birthday some days ago and this "guy" that claimed he "liked" me (mtchewww) got me something that was supposed to be a "phone"

It looked fancy and all but it had a 500 MB RAM. I looked at him and said WHY Who uses a 500 MB RAM in 2016?

He looked at me and told me that I should be grateful because he spent 60k on this phone.

I was like (WTF) don't you know you can get a 1 GB RAM for less than 60k.
Then he now started vexing and I didn't understand why

Long story short, I made him return the phone and get a a better one ; Tecno Boom j8 which was way better, it had 2GB RAM and was just 40k. I even saved him 20k, he should be thanking me.

Now he won't pick my calls and reply my texts, please tell me, ladies and guys, was I wrong or was he just plain selfish

Apologize. In ur head u might have had good intentions, and yes, the Tecno boom j8 was much better and more affordable but u didn't execute it well

Yesterday being Friday I was at GTBank. I entered greeted everyone sat down, plugged my 2 phones, my power bank and my rechargeable fan to charge. I drank cool water from their dispenser and received correct breeze from the AC. I cannot kill myself! No light, no petrol!

So as Y'all already know, I have been obsessed with my Boom player because the sound coming out of that thing is sick (by "sick" I mean awesome) and because of that, I've been listening to TOO MUCH MUSIC (my poor ears)

Anyway, earlier this morning, I decided to do some spring cleaning little did I know I was in for a NASTY surprise.

I went on to the toilet after I was done with my room and placed my phone on the sink and started to scrub the WC with the toilet brush.

It was all good and all until my Jam came up mehn!! Sorry by Justin Bieber

I lost my sh!t (like wahhhhhh) and I started to sing along while STILL scrubbing the toilet with the toilet brush.

I was singing " Is it too late now to say SOOOOORRYYYY, coz I'm missing more than just your BOOOOOOOO..." and then it happened....

The water, from that nasty a$$ toilet went straight into my beautiful mouth.....

I literally ran out and started to scream so loud. Then I started crying and just sat on the floor.

I swore never to do that again.
