There is nothing wrong in asking for clarification in an interview. If you are not clear about a question asked, you can say things like: Can you say more? Can you give me an example? It does not make you less smart. It is better than assuming and giving a wrong response. For every agreement you have with a company regarding a new job offer, ensure you keep all correspondence documented for record purpose. Do not finalize deals over the phone. Ensure all is in writing. Be smart Again, do not get carried away with job offers and resign from your place of work unless you have a hard copy of your offer letter which MUST be printed on the letter head of the company. An electronic offer letter does NOT count as a valid offer letter especially if it has not been signed by the company nor printed on a letter head. On no account should you resign from your current place of work for a new job that has not given you a hard copy of your offer letter, printed and signed by the employer/head of HR on a letter head of the company. |
