North has always relied on mob violence by their almajiri plebs to blackmail the nation.

Murtala did it in 1966 and the Sharia advocates have been doing it since 1978.

The north should know that the rest of the country is tired of being polite to their autistic behavior.

We in the south have been ignoring you and letting your foolishness slide all these years just as primary school children will avoid the obvious autistic child in the class.

Call it whatever you want to call it ( the ultimatum) where are these peoples that making noise now when Ipob, Massob, are making their threats? you can't eat your cake and still have it . What is good for the goose is also good for the gander. You can't called for your own separate country and expect that you will continue to enjoy the same rights and privileges that are enjoyed by the citizens of that country. This is just from the North and you're already rattle , how about if the S/west ask you to vacate their land? oh i remember you even called Lagos a no mans land. Thus thinks my friends...

We have Muslim players in Real Madrid who played the champions league finals even though they were in Ramadan

Religion is the biggest scam in the history of mankind

You want to disobey your boss to obey your God ??

They don't deserve to play for Nigeria again

Paul Pogba will never act like that even though he's a Muslim

Mesut ozil who is a Muslim will never act like that

If you can't do what your coach tells you, you can employ yourself and do as you like

Buhari will not disobey his doctors if they tell him to eat every minute of the day during Ramadan
Are we created by almighty God to worship or to entertains ?

Contrary to the claim by the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Business and Rules, Senator Ita Enang, last week that 83 per cent of oil blocks in the country are owned by northerners, investigations by THISDAY have revealed that 88 per cent of the oil blocks are owned by multinational oil companies.
On the other hand, indigenous oil operators or Nigerian companies control only about 11 per cent, confirming the assertion by human rights lawyer, Femi Falana, last week that oil majors control and manage the lion’s share of the Nigerian oil and gas industry.
THISDAY had also pointedly observed that Enang’s allegation referred to only indigenous oil operations, not total oil output in the country.
Investigations also revealed that even among indigenous oil operators, northern shareholders/directors do not account/own 83 per cent of local oil output, as Enang’s list left out several oil blocks that had been awarded over the years to Nigerian companies and failed to include oil concessions awarded from 1999 to date.
A breakdown of oil leases granted operators showed that the total number of Oil Mining Leases (OMLs) in operation by December ending 2012 was 109, while Oil Prospecting Leases (OPLs) stood at 92.
The Federal Government had in 2012 set a production target of 2.48 million barrels per day (mbpd), of which 1.5 million barrels of oil per day (mbpd) were expected from the onshore and shallower water terrain, while deepwater concessions accounted for 900,800 bpd, which are currently controlled by the multinational companies.
Of the 2.48 mbpd produced last year, the entire production by indigenous companies totalled 276,000 bpd, accounting for about 11 per cent of Nigeria’s production.
Among the IOCs, Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) produced 605,539 bpd, Mobil Producing Nigeria Unlimited (Exxon Mobil) - 528,000 bpd, Chevron Nigeria - 489,999 bpd, Total Elf - 400,134 bpd, Agip – 98,284 bpd; and Addax - 90,489 bpd respectively.
In comparison, local oil companies led by the Nigerian Petroleum Development Company (NPDC), the exploration and production arm of the NNPC produced 125,828 bpd in 2012, Seplat Petroleum - 40,033 bpd, Pan Ocean - 7,387 bpd, while others described as independent marginals produced 102,797bpd.
A detailed breakdown of indigenous concessions and their directors/shareholders are shown in the table below:

SportsTeam Nigeria Win Medal by jasawa(op): 11:00am On May 18, 2017
Team Nigeria finally made it to the medals’ table at the ongoing Islamic Solidarity Games in Baku, Azerbaijan.
Nathaniel Glory Onome won the country’s first medal having finished second in the Women’s 400m Hurdles event.
She posted a time of 55.90secs way behind the gold medalist, Adekoya Oluwakemi, who though is Nigerian-born but now competes for Bahrain.
Adekoya won gold with a time of 54.68secs while her compatriot, Jamal Aminat, also of Nigerian descent but now competes for Bahrain, won bronze with a time of 56.90secs which is her season’s best time.
With the solitary silver medal presently in the kitty, Nigeria is placed 26th on the medal standings.
Algeria is the leading African country on the medals’ table with a cumulative 30 medals of which six are gold and 11 are silver medals.
Egypt is second in the Africa rankings while Morocco, Cameroon, Tunisia, Senegal and Gambia are all ahead of Nigeria with more medals.
The 4th Islamic Solidarity Games is a multinational, multi-sport event taking place in Baku, Azerbaijan from May 12 to 22.
Previously the event has been held in Saudi Arabia in 2005 and Indonesia in 2013.
The second event, originally scheduled to take place in October 2009 in Iran, was later re-scheduled but then cancelled.
The Islamic Solidarity Sports Federation (ISSF) is responsible for the direction and control of the Islamic Solidarity Games.
A total of 56 countries are competing in 21 sports disciplines in Baku and Nigeria is one of the debutants.
Meanwhile, some Nigerian athletes are in Baku competing for their adopted countries and many suggest the numbers could have been higher if not for the ban placed by the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) on athletes switching allegiance to other countries.
PoliticsNNPC To Resume Oil Exploration In Borno by jasawa(op): 1:39pm On May 16, 2017
The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has concluded arrangement to resume oil exploration in the Lake Chad Basin of Borno State.
The Group Managing Director, Dr. Maikanti Baru, yesterday said that the Nigerian Army has given it a “security clearance” towards this.
Baru stated this when he led top management staff of NNPC on a courtesy call on governor Kashim Shettima at the Government House, Maiduguri.
Represented by NNPC Chief Operations Officer, who is also the Executive Director, Gas and Power, Mr. Saidu Mohammed, said the team wants to have a first hand information on what is happening in Borno State, before resuming oil and gas exploration in the next six-eight weeks in the Basin bordering Niger, Chad and Cameroun..
He said the resumption of exploration in the state, was to increase the country’s oil reserves from 35 million barrels a day (mbd) to 40 million mbd. He, however, noted that these production targets cannot be achieved without resumption of oil and gas explorations in the Lake Chad Basin.
He said: “This is why we initiated the moves to get into the Lake Chad Basin for oil exploration, as we have spoken to the military authorities to commence exploration in the next six-eight weeks. We have assembled our drilling equipment with high technology.”
He called on the community in the Lake Chad Basin to cooperate with NNPC, so that the targeted oil production and reserves could be
achieved.
Responding, Governor Kashim Shettima assured that his administration will partner with NNPC to actualize its mission in the basin.
He said when the oil production and reserves targets are met; it will not only generate revenue, but create job opportunities for the unemployed youths in the Northeast and the country at large.
He appealed to NNPC to assist the state government in the reconstructing and rebuilding of thousands of schools and public structures destroyed by insurgents.
He said that the education sector remains the only means of fighting poverty, which is associated with emergence of Boko Haram insurgency.
He put the value of destroyed houses, schools, public buildings, including health, water and power facilities in the Northeast, at $9.6 billion (N3.65 trillion), while Borno State incurred the sum of $5.6 billion (N2.13 trillion).

As for Imo, I can assure you that the result that gave APC(ben uwajumogu) was not gotten thru the ballot box, I can authoritatively tell you that cos I was involved.
Am also saying so for anambra where I will be personally and heavily involved and I can make a bet here with you that Obiano is getting his second tenure. Are u game?
ehhhhen so Mr man you are a rigging machine?

'Surely, they shall gather'
They are wasting their time. The words on every body's lips in anambra is "you dont fix what is not broken". They don't see any reason why anybody will want to vote against the performing governor, Chief Willie Obiano.
Meanwhile, if anambra doesn't re-elect APGA in Chief Obiano, they will opt for the PDP, but not APC. They are all away of the ruin and suffering APC brings in anywhere they enter.
Incidentally, PDP in anambra(even with all the dusputes) seems to be presenting credible and irresistable candidates than these rogues being paraded here in the APC.

PS, they should stop referring to Tony Neither as a doctor, he fell out long before I joined the university but was still in the school doing NANS. Nobody at our set could remember the course he was admitted for. He is a drop out.
Online warriors you have said that for Imo, Edo, Ondo etc rest they say is history. You win on nairaland , we (APC) win through the ballot boxes.
