Politics / Re: How Governor Ortom Announced His Defection From APC To PDP (VIDEO) by jascorp: 6:33pm On Jul 25, 2018
Moreoffaith:
If all of una like defect from life to death I don't care,

All I see is brainless youths supporting those who make life unbearable for them.

Those who make a 40 year old man still sleep and feed in his parents house.

Those who make education useless in the society.

Those who because of their selfish interest kill millions of youth for political reason.

Those who don't care if you feed 3 times daily or not.

Those who refuse to pay your retired parents their pension after so many years of hard labor.

Those whose kids doesn't school here in Nigeria cos of the rot in the educational system.

Those who can travel out of the country with their family any second, any minute if anything happen.

When are we gonna wake up in this country pls??

Oga you have said my mind... I don't support any of these useless politicians whether APC or PDP.. same rubbish set of people.. the only positive is that they should just have confusion all over...

when people like these are overlooked even by the owner of the returned money, how then will our nation churn out people of integrity, if they are made a laughing stock. It is quite despicable that such a person is given such meagre rewards. if it were to happen in a western nation and began recieving accolades from their president, celebrities and other well meaning members of the society, only then will our own group of hypocrites will start awarding her gifts in other to gain attention.. i weep for this country and the entire african continent.

BiafranBushBoy:

So how does the winner of 55 million affect your personal hustle?

Okay, let me start by asking... Why do you visit Nairaland?

Are you a fan of BBN?

If no, how does a girl scratching her butt becomes a news?

How does a guy kissing a girl becomes news?

This is Nairaland for fvck sake, not LindaIkeji's blog. That is the fucking difference.

We didn't come here to see gossips, we (I and others in my shoe) came to learn new things, contribute to reasonable discussions, not BB9ja!!

That is why football threads are created once. And discussions happens on the thread.

Create a fan thread for BBja, and leave repeated boring gossips out of FP!!
Guy you have spoken my mind.. What made majority of us join nairaland is disappearing.. This is not Linda ikeji blog where nonsense news hits fp.. Nairaland is made of many professionals not just Gossip fans.. These days fp is beginning to lack content.. I can scroll from top to bottom of fp and not find any interesting topic to open.. It's days are diminishing and seun thinks he is doing good.. .

This people fail to understand that the calendar we are using is a westernized calendar.. The Catholic Church has it's own year starting on the first Sunday of advent sometime in December.. So if everyfaith was to clamor for New Year holiday, I guess we would have so many New Year's..
Career / Re: History Of Nairaland (SEUN) by jascorp: 1:43pm On Dec 27, 2017
Seun has done a great job so far.. But there is really need for improvement.. Nairaland has stalled in progress over the years that is why some people sell their companies if they have no new ideas or they step down as CEO.. We need an app.. A real app.. Just like reddit.. The time is overdue.. Amen no ban me I just talk my mind.. Creat an app for us not a launcher. Thanks.

Sports / Re: 9 Kinds Of People You Will Meet At A Nigerian Football Field by jascorp: 6:58am On Jul 29, 2017
Ovokoo:
If you have been to a local Nigerian football field, you will know that there are different kinds of characters that you will come across. Here are the 10 types of people you will meet at a Nigerian football field.

The Emperors
These are the people who act like they're the sponsors of the football match and make it their duty to determine how the team will be shared and what the rules will be.

The Super Stars
These are the people that are known to be very good football players and they don't look as desperate when it's time for people to be picked because they know they'll probably be picked first.

The Left Overs
These ones are perpetually unlucky as no team picks them. It may be because everyone knows that they're bad footballers or they look like they're bad due to their physique. If there's going to be what Nigerians call SET, they'll decide to join a new set but may never even be chosen.

The Pretenders
These ones actually came to the field hoping to play football but in order not to be embarrassed, they'll act like they're not interested but hoping that a miracle will happen in their favour.

The Goal Keepers
Nobody likes been a goal keeper on a Nigerian football field as goal keeping is usually left for the left overs. These people make it a duty right from the start to tell everyone that cares to listen that they want to be goal keepers because they know they will not be chosen for any other position.

The Complainers
The complainers act like they've played for Barcelona, Chelsea and Real Madrid at one point in their career and make it their duty to frustrate their fellow team mates who make the slightest mistake.

The Scared ones
This group start getting scared from the moment they get to the field, to the moment they're chosen by a team till the moment a ball is passed to them. They are also scared of the complainers who are out to make their lives a living hell.

The Rough Riders
They're not there to play football but to send someone to the hospital. if you notice them, better avoid them or you'll never play football in your life again.

The Fighters
These people fight for sports. They come to football fields when they have run out of fights in their neighborhoods. If you dare mark them wrong or the referee blows again them, the match is officially over because they will fight till everybody decides to go home.

Politics / Gold Found In Gwagwalada Abuja. by jascorp: 6:28pm On Nov 01, 2016
So I took a short trip to a part of Gwagwalada in Abuja where gold has recently been discovered. It is located behind Christ the King college ckc amid thick Bush. It was discovered about 2 weeks ago and it is still relatively unknown although commercial activities are beginning to gather pace there. Manual digging is used to fetch the sand and rocks after which it Is processed either manually or mechanicaly. First it was nickel in jos now it is gold in Gwagwalada...... Below are some of the pictures I took there.
