PoliticsRe: Keep Okada But Return Keke - Lagos Commuters Beg Sanwo-Olu by jasent2020(m): 6:08pm On Feb 07, 2020
EzeIgbo1:
Modernization comes with a price. The pain for development is always temporary.

Lagos State is trying to expand the ability to meet with the ever expanding population and if not done right would leave the state looking like a big pile of rubbish.

Transportation has to be done right if the state is to ensure increasing population would not destroy her

The more Keke or Okada on the streets as an answer to increasing population and desire to meet their transportation needs would be counterproductive.

Okada and Keke should remain off the roads in the areas already declared banned
Non be by speaking english online o.you are not in Lagos so you have no ideal of what they are going through.Have you even thought off the people that have become jobless as a result of the ban?do you have any ideal the number of kids that will drop out of school?
Christianity EtcRe: Adewale Martins: Mbaka May Be Barred From Preaching By Catholic by jasent2020(m): 3:58pm On Jan 17, 2020
Simplyleo:
So because Mbaka prophecies come to pass, the Archbishop wants to ban him from preaching? Did Mbaka make it so? No. He only saw it coming and made public what he saw, how is that his fault?

The Archbishop is simply a politician whose interest got rubbished, it wasn't done by Mbaka, so he can go chop shiit.
what about the ones that didn't come true?
BusinessRe: Nigerian Traders' Shops Closed In Ghana As They Cry Out by jasent2020(m): 9:44am On Jan 13, 2020
NwaAmaikpe:
shocked

They should blame it on the administration in their country and it's useless foreign policies.
If I were Ghanaian, I'd have done worse.
Most of the traders in 'Makola' market are Igbos even.
Go to Circle and hear Igbo freely spoken in buses. Most fashion shops in Kumasi are owned by Yorubas, the currency changers and Sim sellers at Aflao speak Hausa.

Yet Baba thinks the world revolves around him. I wonder what the role of the Diaspora commission is even.

Ghanaians should lock up their stalls and send them back to Ogbete, Dugbe and Ochanja.
Nonsense.

Your President frigging closed the land border preventing Beninoise, Togolese and Ghanaians to freely trade in Nigeria and you expect to trade in these countries without being victimized.

No way.

International Relations teach that there is a ripple effect of the actions or inactions of a leader on the lives of his citizens in such countries.

Nigeria has failed you.
This closure of shops started even before the border issue came up.

drshrewd:
wow! Pips need to be educated about what this news really means.
Tech here doesn't really mean Nigerian is technologically more advanced than SA or Egypt ( ie in terms of manufacturing, automation, academic research n contribution to technology, etc). Tech here only refers to digital technology n startups and have to do with web or mobile apps which includes Fintech, B2B sales sites, Bet site, forums, online TV and media, blog, Vlog, job sites, etc. Those hubs they talk about are like locality where you would find good pool of people including investors (venture capitalist, angel investors, funding firms, etc) as well as tech enthusiasts getting involved in start up.
Since Nigeria is a very populous country its logical it leads in this area. Tech start up per capital would have been a better criteria n that would see Nigeria doing very poorly
what's your point exactly?

AABBIIMM:
Well, I want to start by letting you know that, God began the beginning before the beginning began.
U must see God as your Father,>Romans 8:15 KJV
For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
This is if you're truly born again, now you're a child of God and you have the Spirit of God living in you>Romans 8:17 KJV
And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
Now, you're a heir of God and a joint-heir with Christ. To be a heir means, you have a divine inheritance in Jesus Christ your Lord.
What you now need is to walk in your sonship.>Galatians 4:6-7 KJV
And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. [7] Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
You must know that the Spirit of God is indwelling in you and there's no cause for fear.
I'll stop here bro. for now.
Let's start from here.
God bless you
Thank you bro. Can I have your WhatsApp number pls?
Nairaland GeneralRe: Is This Spiritual Acttack? by jasent2020(op): 2:44pm On Dec 29, 2019
AABBIIMM:
The first question I will ask you is are you a believer? I mean are you born again?
From all you narrated here, it shows that God protected you even though the devil planned his worst for you.
You need to mean business with Jesus Christ if you want to be a leader and icon beaming hope in that family.
Yokes are real but the Anointing is sure more real.
Joseph was in a strange land and it was written that God was with him and he prospered.
Let's start from having a relationship with Christ first, and the rest is as simple as A, B C...
Hmm. I believe in Christ, though I don't go to church like I use to. But I am trying my best to live a christian life. Though I am not perfect, I make mistakes, but I do really put God's view into whatever I am doing to ensure I don't loose his approval. But like I said I still do make some mistakes. Please I will appreciate further advice. Thanks alot for trying to help

1mrprolific7:
You ..yes..you reading this .. why aren't you making plans to leave this hellhole? Is this the news you want your kids to read everyday? Tanker explosions are no longer strange to Nigerians anymore because it's a daily occurrence.
Is this life you want your kids to become accustomed to?

Why aren't you making good plans to leave this doomed nation? You probably love it here but I demand a concrete reason for why you want your kids to go through the same desensitization to what a good life actually should be like? They don't deserve this and I'm pleading on their behalf
U have no idea the number of people that die daily in the US. You think tragedy only happens in Nigeria. Think again

Nairaland GeneralIs This Spiritual Acttack? by jasent2020(op): 5:11pm On Dec 26, 2019
good day Nairalandders.please kindly ignore my grammatical errors.

As i am typing now, i am the most confused man in the world.the story is quiet long but i will try to make it short.please if you read i kindly drop a comment,it will really help...Before my visit to Nigeria few months ago,i had not visited since 2013,Though i reside in Ghana . I went for business purpose,no intention of going to see my people in the village.but when i got to Nigeria,i was told my mum was sick, and shes been hypertensive for years and that moment she was almost down, she needed to see man as i have been the mummy"s boy.Even though i had little money on i had to go . The condition i met my m as my young and beautiful mum suddenly became old.i cried out my heart secretly.

.SO I TOOK EVERY BODY OUT FOR DRINK JUST TO MAKE EVERYONE HAPPY..NOW HERE IS THE PROBLEM.AS EVERYONE WAS DRINKING I NOTICE CHANGES IN MY DAD APPEARANCE{THIS TIME NOT MY MUM ANYMORE O}. HE APPEAR TO BE SLEEPING,SO I TRIED TO WAKE HIM UP,, HE WAS NOT RESPONDING.HE STOPPED BREATHING. IMMEDIATELY I RUSH HIM TO THE HOSPITAL AND ON OUR WAY MY DAD WOKE UP .WE STILL WENT TO HOSPITAL ANYWAY.MANY TEST WERE RAN ON HIM AND DOCTOR SAID HE HAD TYPHOID OR SO.MY DAD WAS ADMITTED FOR GOOD SEVEN DAYS.SOME TEST WERE ALSO RAN ON MY MUM AND SHE WAS GIVEN DRUGS.THE MONEY I WAS SUPPOSED TO USE FOR BUSINESS WAS GONE.

THE QUESTION IS, IF ANYTHING HAD HAPPENED TO MY FATHER HOW WOULD I HAVE PROVED THAT I KNEW NOTHING ABOUT IT?HOW WOULD I HAVE EXPLAINED TO EXTENDED FAMILY DAD I WAS NOT RESPONSIBLE?MY DAD DOES NOT FALL SICK.

When i came back to Ghana i had to speak to some people and i was told is a spiritual attack.and many advice me to go see TB Joshua.Sincerely i am confused like never before.even my business has collapse completely since i returned from home.

SOME BODY PLEASE SUGGEST FOR ME.WHAT SHOULD I DO?MY HEALTH IS DETERIORATING EVERYDAY BECAUSE I CANT STOP THINKING.I CANT REALLY EXPLAIN THE PAIN HERE.SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP.IF YOU KNOW ANY PASTOR OR ANYWAY I CAN COME OUT OF THIS MESS KINDLY SUGGEST FOR ME.AND I HAVE BEEN FIGHTING DEPRESSION FOR 11YEARS NOW.HELP PLEASE
