There still a lot involved but i will respond to any questions anyone may have. Good luck to everyone,

cezeozue, Did you by any chance apply to Urbana-Champaign?

@stzero,
Ha ha, you obviously must be a "motivational speaker." No doubt this has proved to be the most thought provoking treatise I've read in a couple of years.
We couldn't have asked for better seniors in this house! Again, I'd love to catch a glimpse of your sample LORs; perhaps I can have your personal email.

@cezeozue
Indeed, this guy knows more about you than you can imagine (lol)

From your earlier post, I elicited you got Pet Eng MS/Ph.d admission at UTulsa. Considering that this is one of my prospective schools, I wish to find out if one could avert sending "financial documents" during admission process (for most schools it is not required at this stage) as I learnt this is one of the required documents. I would appreciate your insightful suggestions.

The mobile application "wordy" is a very useful tool; it contains so many GRE level words. I just downloaded it from getjar
Thanks for your tips

I can identify with your worries. However, you're not the only person faced with this problem (of acing the verbal section). I genuinely believe that an almost perfect score is possible, if you knuckle down to study.
I recently commenced intense preparations because I'd be writing mine by May, 2011, The materials I've found invaluable for verbal section are:
- Barrons 3500 wordlist
- 1100 words-to-know
Perhaps I can send you e-copies of these if don't have any handy.

Great offer indeed. You couldn't have asked for more. As you said, it's critical that you wait for the other admissions (hopefully with TA, RA and others of that ilk ) before you make your decision.
Again, I wish to inquire if you already had an M.Sc
Congratulations on your landing such an impressive feat

Pls, I made a mistake in my earlier post, I intended writing- I'm certainly going for the "old" format by May/Jun before going for service. I'm looking towards intensifying preparations (because I want this to be my one and only shot). However I'm still irresolute about the schools I'd be applying to.
Anyways, you could suggest ways we could get in touch with each other.
I could send you my personal email. Thanks for being prompt.

I also intend applying for graduate program (in Petroleum Eng.) by fall 2012.
Perhaps, we could work together towards that. I'm looking forward to seeing your reply.
