The problem with state owned media and many of these private media companies in non democratic countries is sensorship and unnecessary government interference and involvement.

Hmmm well while the op has a valid point of low self esteem creating unnecessary problems we should also be aware than certain extreme situations can cause or trigger a low self esteem so its very important as a good partner to be senstive to the situation.
