Good day Moderators. I am a loyal user of Nairaland.

I have never broken any of the rules and regulations of nairaland, but since last night i have been unable to reply, modify or even post comments using my main account (odimbannamdi). Does this mean i have been banned??

Hi guys. Am a graduate of microbiology with 6months post-NYSC experience in a laboratory.

i am currently in search of a job.

A friend suggested to me that i should get across to Human Resource firms that recruits for companies so that they would contact me if something comes up. She claimed her job (a contract bank job precisely) was gotten through this means. She even went ahead to list 2 major ones: Uconnect and SOL (am still digging up on them, but i will greatly appreciate if anyone tells me what he knows about them).

In summary, i would be glad if someone lists some other human resource firms he knows of so i can contact them asap.

I am leaving no stone unturned in my search for a job.

I just changed my android imei that of a blackberry to enable me use their 3gig for 1k bis plan. but, unfortunately, glo is very bad in my area. the guy who gave me the tutorial on how to tweak it uses it in his area and its blazing fast!

the issue now is, i want to download some files worth over 5gig and my budget is low so the glo bis seems the only affordable option now.

i stay around ojo barracks. please if u use glo bis on android around this area and its fast please let me know. i dont mind bringing my pc over to your area to download these files

Getting a job after service has proved futile. Infact, i have exhausted my meagre NYSC savings during job hunting.
The only option left now is to venture into business to cater for my immediate needs and save up money for my M.Sc programme pending when i land that dream job.
During my NYSC days, i took a 6month intensive course in Agro allied ventures (poultry, snailery and fishfarming). so i have decided to venture into snailery because it is less capital intensive, cost effective, less time consuming, have very low mortality rate (at most 5%) and they give birth to young ones prolifically.
i also have an experience in the sales of 1st grade O.K. shirts.

But my major bane is getting capital to kick start these businesses. i have been to various microfinance banks (LAPO inclusive) to get loan, but they only grant loan to people who already have an established business or tangible collateral. I have also tried sourcing for soft loan too all to no avail.

I will be very glad if a kind hearted Nigerian out there helps me out with this loan. i can provide a guarantor who is currently serving with the NYSC. i will be servicing the loan on a monthly basis with an interest rate we will both agree on.

if i put it on, it shows "hp". then it wont proceed till u press the esc key. the next screen that comes up writes

the ...... signifies that there are write-ups there but i cannot even remember them.

this this screens remains like this for about 2mins, after the booting continues normally.
