Hello everyone, I just received my admission letter from the university of minho. I'm doing a PhD program. I'm very worried about the accommodation requirement. Does anybody have an idea on how to go about this hurdle?

When will that happen? Next year? In the next two years or probably in three years time? I certainly doubt this year as they haven't done any advertisement pertain to 2018 scholarship application. This was just a waste of time tbh

No it has not been scrapped, it just that we have thieves when are leading the board.
They take 10% for every payment they make in NDDC but for scholarship its not possible because its the only genuine thing NDDC does. Thats why it took them 1yr 8months to pay the first one. and now they have stayed in office going to 3 years without awarding scholarships. They will be sacked in july and the next board hopefully will bring it back.

I honestly think the nddc foregin scholarship has been scrapped permanently.

Well I did and I posted her response here two weeks ago. You could contribute also by doing the same

Maybe somebody should email Seledi so we know what's going on.

Seledi just replied me after two weeks. She wrote,
"We do not have any word on the list. Stipends will be paid soon."

Were are all those that have source's?

This theory will only fly if there are people who received only one mail.

It's possible.  You only get paid once if your name is not on the list

Maybe we could be payed twice. The first email might be the stipend money we didn't receive for the interview while the second u could get if you eventually get the scholarship, transportation fee to collect your scholarship certificate

The MD on monday said they will continue to "massively invest on the post graduate scholarship and are considering sponsoring gifted minds for undergraduate scholarship."
It seems some funds have or is being released to NDDC soon for this euphoric excitement they are now having.
Though undergraduate sponsorship is welcomed but they must think deep about their preparedness. I can't imagine undergraduates going through this psychological stress as a result of delayed fees problems.
The MD is saying that by May "processes for selecting post graduate scholarship would be concluded" Maybe the list will be out soon and new process begin to be concluded in may. We should still continue to demand for the list even more now. Vague assurances is not enough as experienced before by those who reportedly visited him for enquires of 2017 award list and he reneged on his promises to them.

All NDDC Scholars should start getting their fees and upkeeps by Monday next week.
The list of scholarship students will be out in December.

People's prediction with more reliable sources failed earlier.

The only logical conclusion from all the predictions is that the list is being delayed to resolve the pending issues and I align myself with that position.
