You make a very good point AllisonUK: Apart from needing some alone time to collect my thoughts, after heavy interaction with grandma, I would have loved live-in, so I can also avoid house rent, but I wish to bring family over later...so I'm really not sure that Oyinbo client will give us boys quarter. I even also read that you could be doing two weeks on and two weeks off. So what will happen to kids in that two weeks, idk....cos I feel hubby will not want to stay permanently.. that's just my personal matter sha. Your case might be better. You are a guy afterall.
For domiciliary....hmnnn..sounds like a lot of trouble. Driving or however, from place to place. And for the same range of peanuts...I no fit shout abeg.
The best I feel, is care home. If I can get the types that will permit negotiation, I hope to do our regular Nigerian eight hours, after all school na free. Plus, there are others to act as witnesses, incase of any kain skoin skoin
Just being open to options though.... otherwise, I still de apply for my physiology jobs oo |

Yes, they could pay more than band 3 but not certainly 1k pounds. It's usually 10 -11 maybe more in London. I disagree with the maid thing. Before I started working in the care homes I was a kitchen portal in the care home. They have thier kitchen section and employed cleaners EnglandAmaka: I discovered that this Care Homes pay more than NHS band 3.
I've seen Care Homes that pay £1000 pay week. Free Accommodation for 3 months, visa fee, plane ticket, Free DBS check, free uniforms etc. Plus they will still pay £500 to anyone that refer workers to them.
I think the reason for this is because they work more hours. They handle body wastes, cook, bath the service user, run errands etc. Just typical example of what Nigerians call MAID |

Catherine Wingrove, ENA Care Group 1 message No attachment Feb 17 Thank you for your job application! Hi OZIOMA We greatly appreciate your interest in ENA Care Group and the time you have invested to apply for UK Live-in Carer (Overseas Sponsorship). We have reviewed your application, and unfortunately we are not able to continue your application at this time due to you not having a driving licence. This is a key requirement you must have in order to be able to drive in the UK, and we are looking specifically for carers that can drive. We understand that this may be disappointing for you, but we have been o |

Sponsorship Job Hello Samuel
Thank you for your patience while we are waiting for our Sponsorship Licence to be issued.
We have received over 4000 applications for this job, so it is a highly sought after position and our small recruitment team has been working very hard to keep on top of the applications we have received.
I'm pleased to say that you have been shortlisted as a successful applicant, and your application will be moving forward to the next stage of the recruitment process.
We are exclusively shortlisting candidates that have had previous care experience and have a driving licence, as you will be required to drive your clients when working in the UK. We are not shortlisting non-drivers at this stage.
The next stage of the recruitment process is likely to be a behavioural or personality test, and details of this will be sent to you over the coming weeks. I would ask again that you remain patient until we get in touch with you again, and there is no need to reply individually to this message.
Best regards
-- Recruitment Team ENA Care Group |

Thank you! It's the health care assistant job dee1504: The questions depend on the job role you were offered. Read the job description, that's where most of the questions will come from. They would want to know how proficient you are in that job.
Asides that, you also need to memorise their values, know what it stands for and how you have demonstrated such values in the past.
Study your application and ensure that you can defend all you wrote in it.
Success in your interview. |

I worked in care homes when I was in the UK and I prefer that. Anyone I see I will take. The goal is to live this country Kaylaonah: Domiciliary is done in the person's house while care home is a group home. Some say it's worse, since you'll be in the person's 'domain' but some enjoyed it. Everything depends on your client. |
