Interns are safe doctors...not experienced but safe..besides they are under a resident(junior/senior) and consultants..they don't own patients as the patients belongs to the consultants. They can't change the consultants plan rather they keep the team updated and if the consultant need to be very sure of the clinical finding of the junior Dr he or she come for his own clinical examination.
