Yea..that's how it was for me too. I think uniben used that as a trick to fail peeps. Cos even in some poems they asked for subject matter without giving d name,they just named d poet persona. So I think its to test ppl's knowledge. Hardlines n serenade came out in mine. N ds r new poems jamb just added to syllabus. But I was prepared sha cos I went thru my jamb lesson notes

As usual we were checked in n given all ds talks...peeps like me entered hall with prayers against tension o,dressed all smart and all. By the time we started after d long wait it was going cool,saw some stuff I hadn't even thought of. The govt sha,thank God for common sense.....but d funniest fact was dt wen I was tellin a peep here on NL to read "serenade" n "hardlines" I didn't knw I was talking to myself..chai! Was shocked in the hall......welll tory dn too long sha..my exam make like MADDD!!!...

Yea..I shared that dread too at some point in time cos I'm an art student n science students always boasted that wen I met d great calculus I would get hooked but when I came across it,I found it surprisingly easy esp the differentiation..funny fact I didn't even know it was the dreaded calculus I had learnt till one time I pestered my math teacher to teach me this "dreaded" thingy n he was like "that's what I just taught u"....I was amazed..simple yet dreaded

But hope you do realise that someone without a good background on the rules guiding English will fail most of those questions thinking he/she got them. Trust me, the English was tricky. Looks simple but easy to fail.. Always fear any competitive exam that looks cheap. There's always more to it. I like your optimism though, its good.. And what's ur seat number if I may ask?

the questions in my exam was not substand. But upto four and above questions had no ans.

Yea..some questions r intentionally placed like that to test d knowledge of d candidate,not answering such attracts a mark. If u chk out authentic past questions this kinda questions were revealed
