Good Morning fellow Nairalanders.

I got my Tier 4 visa yesterday.
Priority
Eligible for Tier 4 visa Pilot scheme (I submitted my bank statement and BEng Cert regardless)
I previously Studied in the UK for my Bachelors

My Timeline
1. Payed the application fee, IHS and TLS Premium service on the 11th of August

2. Uploaded all my documents online on the 13th of August cos I used the self service option

3. Went in for my Appointment on the 19th of August, did my Interview too.

4. Got the Biometric done email and application transferred to DMC Sheffield on the 19th of August, immediately I got back home that day

5. Got the email that my application had been received at Sheffield on the 20th of August

6. Decision made, Application transferred to VAC Abuja on the 28th of August, in the morning

7. Ready for pick up email in the afternoon of 28th August and I picked up my passport with the visa intact shortly after

Thanks everyone, as all the information on this thread came in handy at some point. smiley

You don't have a problem. You're good to go (but make sure you allow your bank statement to count up to 30 consecutive days(just to be safe) before printing)

The day you go in for your biometrics is your appointment date.

The rule you're mixing up, has to do with using a bank statement that has passed 31 days from the date it was printed to the date of application.

Application date has to do with the day you make any payments for your application. Note that the application date is what is used to determine the exchange rate if bank statement shows other currencies different from pound and OANDA site is the official site for conversation.

Hope this helps.

Good morning house
I've come with another question please
I lodged the required £20k funds in my account as specified on the 26th of july, meaning my 28 day count ends this week Friday
However I was advised by my school Rep to go ahead and book an appointment online which i did and as such, my biometrics is next week.
Here's my confusion now pls
I've just read online that the application date shouldn't be more than 31 days from the 28th date on the bank statement. Is the application date when you submit online or when you actually go to do your biometrics and interview?
I brought this up with the school Rep and the advisor from UKEAS and they both said it doesn't matter as my school is on tier 4 pilot, that I'm only adding bank statement as supporting evidence as my document checklist is just my certificate . Will this affect my decision.
Or do I have to cancel my application and rebook after the 28 days is complete.
Outside of this, I think I have everything else covered
Please kindly advise.
@justwise @mr2810
Thank you

Jayvallia:
Good evening everyone. Please for the self service, what documents am I to upload. The CAS stated just my certificate. Am I also to upload transcripts and offer letter? And do you sign and upload the checklist or wait till appointment

Also I have a bank statement. I am told I also need a cover letter from the bank, please can anyone confirm this.

@justwise
I am literary a bit confused too regarding what documents to upload for the self service option.
Will appreciate it if someone should come to our aid please. God bless

Another thing I'm confused about is that one of my old passports has my undergrad uk visa, as I'm applying for masters now.
Should I upload the Biodata page of the old passport? or should I just upload a copy of the tier 4 visa I was given back then for the undergrad study?
