After the extended huge price rally since last week, the market valuation of most stocks in the EV sector has exceeded their intrinsic value. Hence, folks that have reached their target profit should consider taking some profit before potential pullbacks. I will sell 25% of my $BLNK shares today in order to lock-in profit.

You are absolutely right, bro. One needs to know the stocks one owns by carrying out detailed due diligence (DD), so one is not shaken by events to sell prematurely. Sometimes, a planned short-term trade may become long-term and vice versa because Mr. Market can not be perfectly timed.

I recall mentioning both $SBE and $BLNK here in September after then US Presidential Candidate Joe Biden (JB) stated during the 1st Presidential debate that he plans to add 500,000 new electric charging stations if he is elected as POTUS. After buying both stocks, they didn't appreciate much but i decided to hold $SBE and did several swing trades on $BLNK.

However, after the elections and when it became clear that JB is the POTUS-elect, I reviewed $BLNK's fundamentals again and bought it back last Monday and it went up by 130% in 5 days of trading last week. Today, $BLNK is up by another 48% (i.e. 178% in 6days of trading), while $SBE which i have been holding for 2mmonths also went up by 30% today.

Sometimes, one needs to hold a stock and not get frustrated by Mr. Market's initial reluctance to reward your DD with corresponding share price gains. When the appropriate time comes and all market forces align, Mr. Market will definitely assign the right price to the stock, as long as the fundamentals are still intact.

One lesson I have learnt is that sometimes, day trading stocks can become wonderful swing stocks and earn you loads of cash.

I posted this on the 17th of this month and today is 23rd.
Just 6 days after, FCEL is $8.38 doing a 51% today, and a 124% gain in those 6 days!

LXRX that was tipped same day is doing just 13% now by the way.

To day-trade on T-212, i buy in tranches and the first buy is mostly at 'market price' and not limit order. Then i use limit/stop-limit to average up as the share price increases. Once the share price has reached my target or a price at which I have made my target gain/profit, I set a stop-loss sell order at the price and leave the trade to run on its own.

The share price could keep going high until i come back to exit just before market closes. However, if the share price dips to much and hits my preset stop-loss price, my sell order will be activated to take me out of the market with my initial profit in the bag.

@OakPearl.. How do you guys day-trade on T212? All my orders were not executed, all premarket gains have all been exceeded and my orders are still pending.. this isn't the first time, don't know what I'm doing wrong, could it be the stop-limit order I used?

Big trading day ahead for the EV sector with Tesla's ($TSLA) final inclusion to the S&P500 effective Dec 21st and $NIO's 3Q2020 earnings call.

Mid to long term plays to watch are below:

Stocks under $10: $CNDT, $SOLO, $F, $PEIX, $BLNK, $FCEL, $ADMS, $VXRT (positive data from its stable room temperature tablet-form Covid-19 vaccine candidate in hamster trials), $GE (great turnaround in this big player in power, healthcare, aviation and renewables), $OPK (more Covid-19 testing required & potential buyout rumours by a big pharma) & $ABUS (presented very positive Phase 1a/1b clinical trial results for its AB-729 drug cure in chronic Hepatitis B Subjects at a virtual Liver Meeting today 15 Nov 2020 ).
$ABUS is also awaiting royalties or buyout from $PFE/$BNTX and $MRNA once the US FDA approves their Covid-19 mRNA vaccines which both utilize $ABUS patented LNP technology delivery system.

$JE (at $7.41 now) seems to be on steroids after surging over 32% in less than 1hour of trading. More MM's and tutes already taking position.

$JE Closed very strong today with huge volumes and its likely that a potential buyout may be in the horizon. Will watch how this stock trades in the next few days.

$DVAX's is undervalued stock from my analysis. I rate this stock in same class as $ABUS and i have held $DVAX for more than 2 months now. However, don't expect a huge share price gain for now, until a successful covid-19 vaccine is selected. $DVAX got a boost last month when the Bill & Melissa Gates Foundation gave a grant of $3.4 million to to scale-up production of its very efficient "CpG 1018 adjuvant", which is being utilized in Phase 1 clinical trial evaluating "Medicago's" plant-derived COVID-19 vaccine candidate, as well as that of other vaccine makers.

$Dvax's drug "Heplisav-B" is already a huge revenue earner and approved by the US FDA for prevention of infection caused by all known sub-types of the Hepatitis B virus. Several Analysts using various valuation metrics have estimated an average price of $15 for this stock.

$BGFV ($8.52, 9.94% gain yesterday): Made a new 52 weeks high on Monday, Oct 5. This stock was mentioned on August 17 when it was trading at $6.65 (an over 28% gain thus far). It's price stagnated since then, but as we approach a potential recording breaking earnings report on November 3rd, this stock has room to run.

$BGFV reported strong sales growth in 2Q20 (July 2020) with net income of $11.1 million and EPS of $0.53, enabling it to re-instate quarterly cash dividend of $0.10, which i received on August 31st. It had no borrowed funds (i.e zero debt) and net cash position of $38 million as at July 2020. Upcoming 3Q revenue is estimated to grow by a massive 280% with EPS over $1.

$OPK (Opko health: $4.40) was reviewed tonight on Jim Cramer's "Mad Money" program where the Executive Chairman of Bioreference Labs (Opko subsidiary) highlighted the following:

1. Bioreference Lab has sole rights to test both NFL and NBA sports franchises
2. 600k tests done for NFL (500k) & NBA (150k) sports franchises thus far
3. Likely to commence daily tests on NFL sportsmen due to recent more positive results
4. Opk's 'Rayaldee' drug Phase 2 clinical trial for Covid-19 has started with potential for huge revenue worldwide after FDA approval
5. Got New York city (NYC) public schools contract with 100k kids to be tested every month, if not weekly as infection rates determine

You are right. GTB separates the USD ATM card account from someones US dorm account with transfer as the means of funding the dollar ATM card, unlike StanbicIBTC that links the USD card to the dorm account.
For StanbicIBTC, once you fund the dorm account, the card linked to it becomes automatically funded too. Hence, no transfer from the dorm account to card is required. I use both but prefer the seamless interface of StanbicIBTC.

The third point, I meant if I want to withdraw from Trading 212 to my main domiciliary account (not the card account), the only way is to deposit to Trading 212 through bank transfer.

You can't transfer from Card account back to Dormicillary account in GTB; which means the funds will only be available for card transactions.

That was the intention behind the third question.

1. Yes. I just selected one of the USD dorm account cards I linked to T-212 via gpay and the USD was paid within 3days. However, i had funded T-212 at different times with both this card and others.

2. Yes. It goes back to the USD dorm account linked to that card

3. No. You can also pay in cash into your dorm account, after buying from the parallel (black) market. One incurs transaction costs if USD is transferred into the dorm account, rather than when one pays in cash at the Bank.

1. When you use gpay to deposit to trading212, when withdrawing, you can select what card to withdraw the funds to; even if it wasn't the card you funded the account with.

2. In the case of a dollar denominated card, during withdrawal, the funds goes back to the card account, correct?

3. I'm guessing the only way you can get funds to your domicilliary account is to fund through bank transfer?

The sell-off after that POTUS tweet was brutal, triggering most of my stop-loss orders which took me out of the market. Glad that I had removed stop-loss orders on my long term plays, after a similar past market sell-off. On the flip side, this sell-off exposed the relative resilience of each stock, clearly showing those that would bounce back faster after taking a huge dump.

Looks like its bye-bye to penny land for $PEIX, which just made a new 52 weeks high price at $9.02. Previous 52 week high was $8.62 and 52 weeks low is $0.22. $PEIX has surged over 130% since it was highlighted here on August 28th.

$XSPA ($2.26 at close yesterday, 17.71% gain): CEO’s interview on Fox Business News yesterday confirms huge revenue streams expected from rolling out Abbot's rapid Covid-19 tests at US Airports. Highlights of that interview include:
1. Already conducting passenger tests at JFK Airport, NYC and La Guardia, NJ
2. Secured passenger testing on the very lucrative “air-bridge” flights btw London Heathrow and NY JFK Airports
3. Discussing potential Govt. funding via the next stimulus package
4. Another 60+ major USA Airports in the pipeline for passenger testing
5. Expansion of testing outside Airports in Phase 2 (cruise liners, harbors etc.)
6. No stock dilution planned in near future
7. EPS grew a massive 98% in the last one year
8. Estimates at least $1 million monthly revenue from testing at each of the major US Airports

This stock was mentioned here about a month ago and has gained 9%+ in today’s premarket based on above interview details. However, it’s likely that investors trading sentiments today will determine the direction in the days ahead.

$NAK ($1.19 at market close today): Interesting price action resulting in 13.13% gain and 23.9 million volume traded. Looks like the short seller with Chinese roots (J-Capital Research coy) which had publicly acknowledged shorting this stock, has been squeezed out.
The proxy stock market battle between short sellers and traders coupled with delayed regulatory approval from the US Agencies had initially stagnated this stock. Huge daily volumes may also indicate that MM's and 'tutes' (institutional investors) are seeing some value in this penny stock.

At a 0.30% copper equivalent cut-off, the Pebble Deposit in Alaska, USA owned by $NAK contains:
1. One of the biggest Copper deposits in the world at over 80 billion pounds
2. 100 million ounces (oz) of Gold deposits
3. Half a billion oz of Silver deposits
4. 5 billion pounds of Molybdenum
5. Significant deposits of Rhenium (used in military aircrafts, as super-alloys for turbine engines and for petroleum reforming catalysts)

Nice move. I am very heavy and long on Lafarge WAPCO. It was a very low hanging fruit for any discernible investor at below N10.

The decision I made to accumulate huge units of Lafarge at below N10 and holding unto most of it is just the best I have made yet.

I did sell most of my Zee at below 18, having bought most at 15+, on the other hand.

Click on the pull down menu, then click on "manage funds" and "withdraw". Then select the particular Bank ATM card (Naira or USD) you want among the ones you already linked to T-212 via "gpay''. It typically takes about 3 working/business days for the amount to reflect into your account. I have only withdrawn USD into my dorm account through the above means. I prefer to receive USD to Naira, so i can hedge against any future Naira-USD Forex fluctuation.

Rates vary depending on the Bank ATM Naira debit card you use to fund T-212. From my experience, Zenith ($400) and StanbicIBTC ($420 -$430) rates are relatively less. UBA used to be much higher at $466. The prevalent daily Bank Forex rates can be retrieved from "https://www.ngnrates.com/bank-rates" or "www.abokifx.com".

You can also create a US dorm account, request for a USD ATM Mastercard or Visa card and fund via the parallel (or black) market.

You have to register on the Trading 212 website using your google email address, International passport and a copy of your proof of address (bank statement etc). Make sure the address you input during registration corresponds to the address on the Bank Statement you will submit.

Once registration is done on T-212 site, create a gpay (google pay) account and link your Bank ATM debit/credit (USD or Naira) card(s) to T-212, so you can seamlessly fund your trading account. Kindly note that you can only fund your T212 account via ''gpay'' through the T-212 web (PC Desktop screen) interface and not via the mobile phone app. However, you can trade either via the mobile app or on a PC.

The $2.2 trillion Covid-19 stimulus plan passed by the US House which awaits the Senate's review and vote provides for the following amongst others:
1. $25 billion to airlines to cover payroll costs
2. Injection of $75 billion into Covid-19 testing and contact tracing efforts
3. $225 billion into education & $57 billion into child care

Hence, if the above stimulus package sails through the Senate, stocks in the medical testing and education sectors should thrive.

I particularly feel we would be having an "opkober ($OPK)" to remember because huge revenue from $OPK's covid-19 testing contracts with the NFL, NBA et al should reflect in the upcoming earnings report on Nov 3rd. My analysis indicates that $OPK current share price of $3.98 still has upsides between 20-50% from current price levels in the next one month. Last Quarterly EPS earnings exceeded 200% without much of these contracts in place.

I concur, bros. Most shares are deep bloody red in premarket trading. However, the positive Covid-19 diagnosis of both the POTUS and FLOTUS has given Covid-19 vaccine plays ($VXRT, $SRNE, $INO, $IBIO etc) a shot in the arm. Almost all the aforementioned Covid-19 plays are up at least 10% in premarket. I am also watching the silicon nitride face mask manufacturer, $SINT in 3D.

This will send the stock market on a downward slide today.

With hindsight, this could be another opportunity to buy that once elusive premium stock at a reasonably low price.

I trade on "Trading 212" app. Saves me transaction costs and I can comfortably "day trade" without being stuck for 2days with a stock that's dipping viciously, due to the Fintech's (Chaka, Trove etc) so called "good faith violation (GFV)".

Asana ($ASAN) is a good workplace software set up by a co-founder of Facebook ($FB). You can look to either "day trade" for now to make quick gains based on its current IPO hype or buy to hold for mid/long term gains. The actual financial print shows the coy is not yet profitable but should be on the long run.

Asana's last quarterly report as at July 31 showed revenue of $52million (up YOY by 57%). However, net loss during the period went up to $41.1 million, in comparison to a $15.6 million loss for the same period last year.

The US President DT has signed an executive order aimed at expanding domestic production of rare-earth minerals that are vital to many critical manufacturing sectors, thereby reducing dependence on China.

$NAK share price has gone parabolic with over 40% gain at premarket trading. This was coming as stated in my previous post on this stock and the post below on Monday, 28th Sept. Lets see how far this beauty would run.

Sad that you bought at a relatively high pre-split price. Before the reverse-split, $JE was good for any type of trading...day trade, short term, long term etc.

$JE reverse split amongst other recapitalization plans, was actually made by the Company to enhance long term profitability, which would likely increase the share price once earnings (EPS etc) improve due to reduced post-split shares currently being traded.

If you didn't invest for only short term gains/profit and not under pressure to sell at a loss, then you may have to hold a little until the run-up to $JE's next Quarterly earnings report. With Winter coming when consumers typically use more energy, earnings should be good enough to drive the price much higher than what it is now. Besides, $JE's 52weeks share price high is over $90 before the company ran into murky waters.

JE reverse split is a catastrophy, I bought at 0.55. when they did the reverse split. at 33:1. each share cost $18 and its now less than $6. lots of people are down.

BGL didn't specifically go defunct because of margin trading. Followiing investigation of several clients complaints, the SEC had banned the BGL MD from participating in the NSE for 20years and subsequently charged him and other executives of the coy to court for "alleged criminal conspiracy, breach of trust and cheating through their activities (i.e. insider trading etc) in the capital market".

Last night's 1st US 2020 Presidential election debate puts the EV and renewable energy sectors in focus to benefit from both candidates (DT & JB), especially Mr. JB who clearly stated that if elected, he will add 500,000 EV charging stations. Hence, going forward, the market may likely react positively to stocks like Blink Charging ($BLNK), $SBE, $PLUG, $GEVO et al.
