I currently don't have $NKLA shares, but a Deutsche Bank (DB) Analyst released a coverage report yesterday with a target share price of $54 and thinks the stock gives investors "a rare pure way to invest in zero-emission commercial trucks."

The DB Analyst clearly reiterated the reason why I have been skeptical about $NKLA by stating that "Nikola's stock is trading at an enterprise value to sales multiple that is similar to those of Tesla ($TSLA) and $NIO. However, $NKLA, unlike both $NIO and $Tesla hasn't yet produced any trucks. It won't even have its factory up and running for at least another year (i.e. 2021). Right now, Nikola doesn't have any revenue at all, and that makes it a risky bet".

Hence, I believe that while $NKLA has great prospects and could monopolize the electric truck manufacturing industry, it is currently trading on "hope" of a future product. So, folks have to be careful here and only invest if it meets your long term investment objectives and targets.

Hahahahaha...Afolabi units was popularized in the Stockmarketnigeria.com (SMN) forum, which is now extinct and the term is also regularly used on Nairaland in the NSEMPA (Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Alert Picks) forum. Picking Afolabi units means to buy small quantities of a stock on a consistent basis, in order to gradually build up your portfolio. For US stocks, I consider the purchase of any quantity under 50units as Afolabi units.

According to one of the most experienced NSEMPA and SMN stock investors (@emmanuelewumi), "Mr. Afolabi is an accountant who invests regularly in the Nigeria stock market, buying his usual 2000 units in any stock. He was consistent with this and has built a substantial portfolio, investments and businesses for himself. He is the CFO of one of the big insurance companies in Nigeria".

Both $ENPH and $BGFV are good stocks. Even though Enphase Energy ($ENPH) has a very high ROE (72%), its high ROE came at the expense of huge debts/borrowing with debt to equity ratio of 1.25%. Both $ENPH and $BGFV are down 0.28% and 0.32% in after hours of trading on Friday, July 17, but this could change by Monday, July 20.

Hence, the decision to either sell or hold is yours to make, if your analysis show that both stocks have reached or exceeded your initial investment objective(s)(e.g. factors like 20-50% share price appreciation, 10% dividend yield etc.).

I keyed into AztraZeneca ($AZN) yesterday on news that results from its Covid-19 vaccine trials, which were conducted with the Oxford University UK, would be released on Monday, 20th July. Feelers from the grapevine are that $AZN covid-19 vaccine may be relatively more effective with fewer and milder side effects than previous covid-19 vaccines being tested by competitors. Also, Russia announced a deal with $AZN for its covid-19 vaccine yesterday, July 17.

I bought afolabi units of $AZN yesterday at $58.5 and it closed at $61.1, while quoted at $63.15 (3.36% up) after hours of Friday, July 17 trading. I expect more from this stock, if it releases a very positive news on its covid-19 vaccine on Monday, July 20. As always, due diligence is required.

I had my eyes on these two stocks $ACB (Aurora Cannabis) and $APHA (Aphria), which are into medicinal cannabis production and were deep in merger talks. However, the merger fell through due to disagreements on which of them would run the new company, with regards to Executive/Mgt positions. Their merger would have created a clear Market leader in medicinal cannabis production.

$APHA is the better managed and more profitable of the two companies though and hold greater long term prospects. Not a recommendation to buy. DD required as always.

You are spot on. $BOXL is a diamond with its new Samsung deal. $BOXL is a leading provider of interactive solutions for online education and should benefit in this "new normal" period necessitated by the covid-19 pandemic.

$ZVO is similar to $BOXL, while $ELVT also excite me. I have both $ZVO and $ELVT in my portfolio and would pick up some $BOXL. As always, due diligence is required before investing.

Quite strange to not mention the Unbundling though. Also, increasing Directors emoluments at this time is a very wrong move.

With regards to the Unbundling plans, below is an extract from the joint statement issued by both UACN and UPDC on September 2nd, 2019. Looks like regulatory approval from both the SEC and NSE are still been awaited; hence the reason why no updates were issued to stakeholders today, until the approvals are received (per Paragraphs 2 and 3).

Along with the 12 milestones for Market Capitalization, $TSLA has16 Operational Milestones (with 8 focused on Revenue and the other 8 focused on Profitability). Only 12 of the 16 Operational Milestones may be paired with Market Capitalization Milestones for all 12 of the CEO performance award tranches to be executed. I normally trade $TSLA around these milestones . Kindly do your DD, as always.

Not surprised at the consistent upward movement of the Tesla ($TSLA) share price, because the CEO (Mr. Elon Musk) is highly incentivized. Excerpts from the Tesla 2018 CEO Performance Award/Package (Appendix A) shows that Mr. Musk will receive no salary, no cash bonuses and no equity.

Mr. Musk only gets compensated through a "100% at-risk performance award, consisting exclusively of stock options with 12 tranches that fall due only if one market capitalization milestone and one operational milestone are both achieved. At the time of executing the CEO Performance Award, for the first tranche, Tesla’s market cap must increase to $100 billion and the Company must meet an additional operational milestone".

For each subsequent tranches, "Tesla must increase its market capitalization in additional $50 billion increments, up to a total of $650 billion, and achieve another previously unmet operational milestone at each level. The award consists of a 10-year grant of stock options with 12 potential vesting tranches, and is designed to help ensure that Tesla is executing well on both a top-line and bottom-line basis. For each tranche that is achieved, Mr. Musk will vest in a number of stock options that corresponds to approximately 1% of Tesla’s current total outstanding shares".

From the above CEO performance contract, with $TSLA issued shares remaining the same, market cap can only increase if its share price increases. Hence, i anticipate that this stock's price will keep flying, even though, it is currently over-valued in my opinion. At today's premarket share price, $TSLA Market cap is already above $300 Billion USD, up from about $286 Billion on Friday market close.

N.B. I own some Afolabi shares in this stock and the above is not a recommendation. Kindly do your DD, as required.

Alibaba ($BABA) shareholders had approved an 8:1 stock split last year, which must take effect before July 15, 2020. This would reduce its current share price from $261.01 to $32.62. Not sure for now if this 8:1 stock split is for its shares on NYSE or the HKEX (Hong Kong Stock Exchange).
This makes $BABA an exciting stock going forward, because from FY'19 Financials, it generated more net profit ($13.1 billion versus $11.6 billion USD) than AMAZON ($AMZN), which currently trades at $3,200. However, according to Forbes, $AMZN had higher FY'19 EPS OF $6.45 than $BABA ($4.97) likely due to China's economic instability and trade war uncertainty. Also, "the MotleyFool" suggests that the perceived risk of investing in China may be the reason for $BABA's current lagging stock price.

N.B: This is not a recommendation to buy either of $AMZN or $BABA, but just a comparison of these two giants. I own neither of them at this time because both stock prices are relatively high and i see some cheaper bargains in the market. However, i would seriously consider a dive into $BABA if the price drops significantly, because i see it having immense long term growth and value, similar to the current value of $AMZN. Kindly do your due diligence (DD) before making any move on these two or any other stocks as the case may be.

Your planned SOP structural arrangement as stated above is okay.
--- Letter of Introduction (LOI) is a formal letter written by the Company someone works for and should be addressed to the Consular General, Deputy High Commission of Canada, Victoria Island, Lagos (If you are applying through VFS Lagos and online from Nigeria too). The LOI should be on the Company letterhead and should certify that you work there, your current position/role, how long you have worked with the company, what you are applying for, how long your program is and the duration of your leave of absence and if/when you are likely to return to the company. LOI should be signed by the Human Resources Manager of the Company you work for.

---Letter of Explanation (LOE) is a formal letter and the same as what you termed ''Letter of clarification''. This letter can be typed on any A4 paper, and should be addressed to the ''Visa Officer, Canada High Commission'. You shouldn't be specific in the VO's address, because you are not sure of the country where the VO processing your application resides. The LOE should explain the source of financial income/support including clarifications on how much you have on each account statement you are submitting, your landed property (ies), your family/home ties e.t.c. Show/list the breakdown of your funds in both Nigerian Naira (or the currency of the Country where your Bank SOA is domiciled) and convert to Canadian dollars (check conversion rates on OANDA or any other online site). The LOE should be printed and hand signed by you. Then, scan and merge it with your supporting documents, if applying online.

Your SOP, LOI and LOE should be among the first documents/pages on your merged documents, so the VO can clearly read them before they start seeing the accompanying documents.

One key advise to all. Please, try to prepare and process your applications yourself. You can get information from the CIC website, key guidance and assistance from this Forum, from knowledgeable friends and even reputable Agents, but prepare and process Applications yourself to avoid stories that touch later.

I have seen many folks who where messed up by people who filled their applications on their behalf, and made terrible mistakes like not admitting past visa denials/refusals, forgery of and repeated use of same SOA's to apply for several applicants etc.

You may have to exercise little patience. The CIC website seems to be currently down on scheduled maintenance. Hence, you may not get the correspondence letter until the website maintenance is completed. This is the message on CIC website as at yesterday ''This online service will be unavailable from 3:30 a.m. to 5:30 a.m. Eastern time, on Tuesday August 14, 2018, in order to perform system maintenance''.

I have seen several instances in recent times where travellers had to obtain a US visa, before they could transit through the US to Canada. You would have to confirm from the particular Airline (Delta in this case) or an airfare booking agent. You can check the Airline's website and either call or email them to confirm.

gooday guyz! hitherto have been naive about my quest for a master degree in canada that I had to contract the whole processing to an agent....a family friend for that matter, now she is at large.....her line stop going any more, and people are saying she travelled out of nigeria. The last time we talked, she asked i send down my international passport to get my visa from the embassy. I asked if I was suppose to follow and she said No. Then a friend informed me that I could run all my self...while I will love an outline on how to go about it myself, I will like to also know if I could track the one with the agent especially since my passport is with her. like if there's any one I could be linked up at the embassy to track the level of things...

Very sad to read this. It's unusual for your Agent to only submit your International Passport for processing of a Canadian Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) for a study permit, without you being present to give your Biometrics (i.e. have your finger print and picture taken) at the VFS passport and documents collection/submission office. My gut feeling is that your Agent has not started the process. Hence, you need to promptly retrieve your Passport and personnally commence both processes of applying for admission at a school and also TRV, using information acquired here and other reputable resource. You can start reading this thread from previous pages and ask pertinent questions for clarifications or more information, as you proceed.

It typically takes between 3-5 days for the Approved Clinics to compile and send your medicals to CIC, as long as there is no need for either further tests or repeat x-rays etc.

Hi. What session are you applying for? It's most likely the Fall (September 2018) application deadline for Admissions at TRU may be closed. Check and confirm if your application is for Jan 2019 session start. TRU normally issue initial admission letter to an applicant with a detailed breakdown of requirements for tuition payment/deposit for at least the 1st semester based on course of study. The final acceptance letter will subsequently be issued by TRU to the applicant, after receipt of the earlier advised required tuition deposit.

To attach files, 1st scan in PDF, then use free applications like ''Nitro pro'' to merge, arrange/rearrange them in the order you want (i.e. pagination etc). Then ''Save'' the combined files and check if under 4MB. If the file is more than 4MB, use ''ilovepdf.com'' to compress the combined files and select how much compression & quality you need. After working on ''ilovepdf.com'', if the file is still too large, then try recompressing/further compression on either ''pdf2go.com'' or ''smallpdf.com''. Pls @chisiudeh and others who just submitted application & haven’t received biometrics instruction letter, kindly advise if your biometrics had been taken in a recent past application submitted by u. Current Info on CIC site states that starting from Summer of 2018 (i.e. June 2018) an applicants biometrics will be submitted once & kept in the CIC database for a period of 10 years before another request for biometrics.
