There are no doubts about Snyder's Visual skills, except the movie will be so dark , gritty and destructive – viewers will forget it's a comic book movie.

magic tea or not, the fact that she was created with magic means that the heretics can equally siphon her magic. The magic used to make her into the huntress is not even older than the magic that made vampires or werewolves and if you remember, malachai was able to siphon the travelers magic surrounding mystic falls and we know that the travelers' magic are stronger than those shamans' magic.

Anyways like I have been saying, this is the weakest villain I have ever seen in both TVD and TO and the story supporting her is weak as well.

They could if their siphon ability has no unknown magic source,though, they have been stated to be a rare breed of `witches-Just witches with the ability to absorb magic BUT still `witches even born under a coven.
anyways, if they could siphon her magic , they wouldn't be on the run for their lives,then again, none of them is/was as versatile as Kai.
Magic doesn't necessarily depend on the age but the User[s] and the magic used was almost similar not the same with Rayna`s ,tho.
Witches of TVD are simply underwhelming in some cases.

The tea of protection they gave Madam Rayna negates magic, though, they should be able to attack her magically...

Goodness! This originals episode is far better than its prequel and really, really different from the vampire diaries. However , the hunter is beautifully crazy and impressive. . The personality change in Klaus this episode was enormous.
