Packing sealed plastics for meal packing in the freezer and Cosmetic range of products import to Nigeria from China, Europe and USA – Good business idea or competitive and saturated. Again I am on here to hear your views on the above subject matter. I am considering buying and bringing into Nigeria (only when I have confirmed and validated wholesale buyers) sealed plastics for packing meals into freezer also ranges of cosmetics (which also included perfumes). Based on the current market conditions and demand, would you consider these a viable business to step into? Your help will be needed to answer these questions: 1. What types of sealed plastics sell well and in good demand in Nigeria 2. What are the market prices and wholesale prices 3. How easy is it to find wholesale buyers in Nigeria for these types of products Same questions go for cosmetic ranges i.e. what sells (which also included perfumes) In a nut shell I am looking to identify opportunities around sealed plastics and cosmetics (which also included perfumes) Thank you. |
@newacca Great strategy. I will be in touch with possible stock availability in due time. |
@Originalsly Well explained. I will continue my search for the ultimate answer before head diving into the business. Thank you. |
@Originalsly Thank you for your response. Its appears the market is saturated and sellers are trying their hardest to sell off their stock. Is there any particular reason for this? could it be: 1. That the products are not well priced 2. Could it be the quality is not good hence people are staying away from the brand 3. Could it be that china products have taken over the market 4. could it be that the average user would prefer re-usable rather than immediate disposables? What are your thoughts. Look forward to your response. |
I posted similar post on the business section and did not realise bamper and huggies forum is actually in here within family section. if it will not hurt to post my questions here as well. I am looking to buy pampers and huggies from Europe and the United States to send to Nigeria for sale but I am unsure of the market so I need your help to answer the below questions: i. What range of pamper and huggies products sell fast in Nigeria? ii. What sizes are most common in demand for both? iii. What are the different types of pampers and different types of huggies that are in demand in Nigeria? iv. What is the market price which end user customer buys each type? v. What is the wholesale price which sellers buy from the distributors in order to sell to the end user customer? vi. How easy is it to fine wholesale buyers (in Nigeria) for the products and where (state, market location) are they most located? In a nut shell I am looking to find out the potential of sales of pampers and huggies in Nigeria given the competitions in the Nigerian market going on. Your responses will be appreciated. Thank you. |
@newacca Thank you for the comprehensive response. Eventually It will be European(UK) and USA stock originals and genius products. Do you run a shop or do you stand as a broker (in between buyer and the seller). If you run a store, is your store in Lagos? |
@delonz Thanks for suggesting the idea of Ipads. I am based between UK and Lagos. Can you help specify the Ipads model versions types in demand. |
