DataAlchemist: Firstly, considering your good grade in your first degree, and your relevant work experience why did you want to switch into data analytics?? I would recommend considering a master's in surveying as well.
And I think stat aligns more with data science and machine learning than data analytics..and why pursue an MSc in a field accessible to individuals from diverse backgrounds without formal education? if at all you want to go for an msc, or you wish to move into tech, why not on data science or data engineering?
And to your question, it is advisable to visit your desired institution, engage with their administration or student affairs, as each school may have distinct criteria. 1.) This might seem stale but Quantity surveying is boring to me. I have always been in love with numbers and it's just in my head, I think if I don't do this, I will regret later in life. 2. I will be open to Data science or Engineering but I don't think I can find a school closeby that offers it here. I am currently on courses on Data analysis online but I believe if I further in that field, it will give me a better understanding of it. 3. Yes sir, I intend calling the school secretary soon. Wanted advice From bigger colleagues like yourself before doing that. Thanks |

Dear All,
Thank you for taking your time to go through this thread, I will need your candid advice on the best way to achieve this.
I graduated with a 2'1 in Quantity Surveying and I have been practising for a while now but I want to have a career switch to Data Analysis.
I've enrolled for courses online already but I want to further my education in that field as well.
With my Bachelor degree in Quantity Surveying, do I need to go for PGD on Statistics and Data analysis before I can apply for Masters program or I can apply directly for my MSC?
Kindly help a brother. |

Bannedlargedx2: What’s up with our superstars osimehn and Boniface unprofessional social network? Week in and out, they’re posting unprofessional contents on their page. Anyone with close contacts to them should inform them about unprofessional social network contents because they’re footballers not comedians. Can you imagine Ronaldo or Messi posting stupid memes week in and out on twitter? A word is enough for the wise Nigha chill Life is not hard. It's their handles, they can post whatever they want(as long as it's not derogatory) |

ekehopp2: Players who will feel bad are: 1) Terem Moffi (Ahmed Musa stole his place. Reason = Federal Character. A fit Taiwo Awoniyi might have lost to Sadiq Umar too 4 same reason) 2) Jamilu Collins (No P. Zaidu Sanusi is worth it) 3) Adebayo Adeleye [Goal Keeper] (Im indifferent on this) So you think Awoniyi would have lost his place in this team because of "Federal Character? " Man was steady balling in the biggest league in the world. Nobody was dropping him |

Abeg wetin we do VicMo I think there are side talks about his story. It might or not had a hand in his retirement |

BascoVanVeli: Did we watch the part where the asked him the question? That could have been done to stir the pot and get people talking. Well, same Video and five persons elected to go for Victor O. So except he wasn't "permitted to vote for his country man" That excuse sounds like lamba really. Just damage control.. And I also don't think CAF will go about editing different videos. What will be their agenda!? Lamba. Just damage control. |

lovewins: AMUNEKE RESPONDS STRONGLY TO BARRAGE OF CRITICISMS ON CHOICE OF SALAH OVER OSIMHEN
“Good morning house, I want to use this opportunity to clear what some of you are saying in this platform. With all due respect to every one of you that I owe with high regard.
First of all, I want you to understand the rumours that you guys are [spreading] concerning me not voting Osimhen. I was never elected to vote.
On our way to the novelty game that we played in Marrakech here, a former player and captain of the Egyptian national team - who is preparing himself to become a TV producer in Egypt – with his group, he was debating on the Arabian team and he raised the question between Hakimi and Salah.
There was time Osimhen was mentioned in that discussion. He came to me and asked ‘Hakimi or Salah’. I have to say Salah. And the reason why I said Salah was because I played in Egypt and I lived in Egypt and I know some of the guys there.
So, there is nothing like voting against Osimhen. Osimhen is our player and our boy. We are happy about what he has achieved and we hope he would continue to dream and achieve more for the betterment of his career and the betterment of Nigeria.
It has come a time in our culture in Nigeria – with all due respect to you guys, we should stop spreading false news and stop creating false impression to the people. We are journalists and our responsibility is to inform the public what is right.”
Amuneke said on Nigerian Sports Village Square moderated by veteran journalist @osasuo. But Sir, we watched the video |

Harshest truth?
Can't recall any.
Well, there were days whereby I was overlooked. Especially early days when I was much younger than the people I was teaching.
But over time, it was a beautiful experience |

JayromWrites: I've always wanted to be a teacher
Maybe because Mama is one. But I derive joy when I am in the classroom breaking complex mathematics equations
I remember the looks on my guys faces in camp when I was jostling to be posted to a school while everyone was looking for a ministry or something
And when NYSC decided to post me to the Ministry of Education, I begged to be posted to a class instead.
Mind you, I studied a professional course, I should be making money, but foolishly, I prefer the smile on a student face than the smell of minted currency
But, I have needs to meet, I had to at a point, make a decision
But one thing I am sure of, I will return to the classroom and teach pro bono |

Napoleon55: If we must play two strikers up front,I prefer V.Boniface with Osimhen.
without taking anything away from Awoniyi,Boniface is more comfortable with ball on his feet and more composed. I'm impressed with his debut, not in a hurry to impress yet he did.
I wonder y some want Iheanacho out of the team because of many strikers we currently have, forgetting he can also operates from midfield,or behind the strikers, and he usually does well. In absence of Iwobi,I actually prefer Iheanacho to Aribo as the playmaker.
For Ndidi, it looks like playing in the championship under his new coach is not completely a bad choice after all. The pass he gave to Osimhen that leads to the penalty was very good. And the 1-2 pass with Chukwueze for osimhen's hat trick It was sublime |
