Lol, I remember most people felt the same way when we sacked Rohr close to the last AFCON. Until Eguavoen shocked everybody 😊.

The truth is that AFCONs aren't predictable. You can have the best players and organization and fail woefully. And vice versa.

Let's keep an open mind and see how it goes.
Exactly.

Yes, PK can go either way.

And don't even bring up Nnadozie. Person wey no fit save even one single PK against England or Morocco when it mattered the most.

Make we leave the either way and focus on if we have pk specialist in the team fes. At least we all know we 5 better pk takers in the squad. There's a reason they do sub Cabalero and Kepa that year at club level. Regardless, Chiamaka na still pk stopper.

Sometimes the team flourishes when the fans are pessimistic grin. Am not sure about this time though.

That is the positive part of it.. The players will be under less pressure.

I think there was also pessimism during the buildup to the last afcon due to eguavon being coach at the last minute. We will be fine. Or not.

Yes. But unlike Peseiro, Eguavon hadn't coached the team before the AFCON (I mean that particular team), so many were unsure he could crack it.
Maybe Peseiro has something exciting in store for us..

The team camp officially opens today.
Meanwhile, there is no official confirmation of the alleged friendly with Burkina Faso and DR Congo. No confirmation of the dates or anything like that.

What’s up with our superstars osimehn and Boniface unprofessional social network? Week in and out, they’re posting unprofessional contents on their page. Anyone with close contacts to them should inform them about unprofessional social network contents because they’re footballers not comedians. Can you imagine Ronaldo or Messi posting stupid memes week in and out on twitter? A word is enough for the wise

Nigha chill

Life is not hard.

It's their handles, they can post whatever they want(as long as it's not derogatory)

Can to tell how properly Iwobi broke into Arsenal ford team before being called to the SE.

Tim Iroegbunam has the small competition of the arguably the best defensive center midfielder in the world the Brazilian Douglas Luiz. As a consequence he is not going to get much game time, a position justified.

Look 👀 at where Villa are now number two in the premier League table 😮.

How many games had Arsenal captain Martin Ødegaard played for Real Madrid before they paid £35 million for him 🤔
this Tim you are making case for no be the same one Villa dey likely to sell to QPR this Jan?🤣

You have no Idea.

You attack the personality and avoid the substance in your prejudiced 🤔 confusion.

Chukwuemeka Carney was on my radar as a quality top level box to box midfielder. That was at age 16 by 17 he was balling , football intelligence, astounded work rate, tall with physicality and outstanding technical ability.

He played for Villa first team at 18 and was outstanding, at this stage all the top EPL clubs wanted him. However, Chelsea offered him a 6 year on £100K a week. He played for Chelsea as teenager that's no mean fit.

The money 🤑 he earns is confirmation of his outstanding quality and ability.

Best players get more very simple. Money is the driving force behind football ⚽. Without money Benzema Ronaldo, etc will not be in Saudi Arabia.

Please tell me two young Nigerian playerd in midfield better than him please 🥺 Oga 2know not ❓

You see what I am talking about??

You don't knw anything besides money when it comes to football

You can't analyse a player or a team strength and weakness. You can't even talk about a team tactics, formation and team set. You can't even anaylse the player you mentioned techniques, speed, goal per match played ratio etc

To you when a player gets signed with big money and accrue huge wage it means every other thing have fallen in place and the player is better compare to those sign for less fees or not playing in england

You need to do better this year

This afcon watch the matches; analyse the teams and players afterwards leave their financial worth aside

That's pretty obvious.

Watching his interview on NFFTV about the list, his response gave the impression that he sees the midfield as a 'single position' like the Centre back, full back, right winger etc.

Meaning he's playing 442 in AFCON, because that's the only formation that accommodates only one midfield role
