Bros, be like you don't know this thread.

Some people here can wish us not to win the World Cup just simply because of their prediction, so they will come here and say: " I said it".

They would rather wish for a Cote D' Ivoire, Mali, Senegal, Morocco or England to win it.

That's the truth.
Well,that's sad

You mean like Mousa Dembele who declined a £40 million move to Chelsea and decided to stay at Celtic.

Or Swedish striker Larson that left Celtic to Barcelona.

Or we could also add.
Wanyama
Van Dyke
Aluko
Tierney
A. Roberton
C.Adam
S.Petrov

Or we could go bang up to date, with the HEAR and NOW and talk about Celtic Striker Odsonne Edouard wanted by several EPL clubs including Arsenal, Everton and now Leeds.

Or we could talk about Alfredo Morelos, Glasgow Rangers wanted by Lille.

I wonder why some of the best clubs in the World are going to this failed league your words "Failed players from lower leagues in England and France"

Now go and look in the mirror at yourself and consider your words. What do you see, a wise manhuh

Hopefully you would realise how impulsive and out of touch your words are. Now go and pour ice cold water on your head, your brain has over heated so as to kick start your brain to begin to work properly again.

After that have a coke and a smile grin grin grin
Dembele
Edouard
Wanyama
VVD
Tierney

All have one thing in common

CELTIC

Seems like Celtic is the only football club in Scotland, the rest are spectators (Rangers are trying though)

The Scottish league is piss poor imo

No serious young player should think of going there, unless it's Celtic

Correct Naija G to gbadun !
The most interesting piece on this matter is that we have never had an English man who played for super eagles and actually impressed and became a hero. Every single one of them is either a pretender or an outright failure in super eagles colors... grin grin. Namely , Reuben Agboola , Shola Amobi ,Efan Ekoku , Efe Sodje etc. Well , maybe the current batch could rewrite the history and actually give us some hope in these English youngsters.

Meanwhie , Iwobi has nothing more to offer than we already see, Aribo would eventually be benched by real talents like Azeeze , Mikel Agu , Okechukwu , Nwakali etc. You cant come all the way from English and displace our home boys. Stay your English aass in England and play for your country of birth. Our samba like style doesnt fit into the way the English play.
Iwobi is trying.

Victor Moses did well.

I'm not against English born players in the team, but only if they want us as well.

I hate it when kids are playing us

How can you pick U21 football over GWG and people here are looking for excuses for him

Someone even said it's because he want a good club in the premier league like he wouldn't get an offer as a Nigerian International

I don't normally used insultive words to prove anything. I always use facts, figures, analyses, Stats, and if possible videos and pics to prove my points. You saw how I was having a discussing about Igbekeme yesterday and I was the one being insulted and labelled all kind of names but I ignored all that and focused on just making my points. It is when it became too much I had to describe what the fellow is really doing... Ranting like a mad dog. I only go hard on monikers who cannot control their language with me or those who make it a daily routine in here to always talk nonsense and half truths about our Naija born lads. So it is wrong and absolutely misleading to say I use insults to pass my points across. That needs to be corrected.

And "Clown" is not an insult. It may be harsh but it is no insult. It is a description of people who make you laugh for many funny reasons some of them being crazily absurd. grin
Like telling us that Nacho always passes backwards and sidewards with a defender in front of him or like telling us Osimhen won't make it into the Youth teams of Championship clubsides. Is that not Clownish?? Lol... It is Clownish to me and to a whole lot of people in here and out there. So it is what it is.

It is just me saying things as they are. And I won't stop doing that. Those guys are really clowns. It is just what it is sincerely speaking.

And thank you. I trust you are having a swell time here. Keep enjoying yourself. Gracias.
If you say so

sometime you can't just help it. It is kinda nauseating how some people here like to denigrate Naija home grown players. They feel everything foreign is better than our own. Imagine komekn 5 naira post "put a defender in front of nacho and he will pass the ball backward or sideway".. That's stupidity in the highest level and the people who liked his 5 naira post are even more stu.pid cos it seem they aint really watching the game. They wait for their master (komekn) to force down his bias down their throat. They simply don't have a voice of their own.
I get your point

But calling him names won't make you feel better or make your argument more potent
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by JayromWrites: 9:26am On Jul 22, 2020
TheSuperNerd:
Now it is true Gabby J is probably faster than Nacho and that he is definitely more technically gifted than Nacho. I have no arguments against those b'cos they are true. Gabby J is definitely more skillful and has even better workrate infact.

But you see the bolded comments.... They are made out of stark ignorance and nonsense ramblings mixed with the dark acidity of your bias towards Homegrown Naija talents.

I am almost tempted to term them the dumbest comments I have read in the past 12 hours on this thread.

Put Gabby J in that Leicester team and he wouldn't even bench Vardy not to talk of scoring sef. Nacho at Man City had the best goals per mins ratio in the whole of Europe at one point in 2016 for the 2015/2016 season (his first professional season). Gabby J haven't managed that feat. So your talk of Gabby J in Leicester is crap and founded on nothing concrete.

Put a defender in front of Nacho and you will always get a backpass or side pass?? Really?? Is this what they are hailing you here for? This fallacious nonsense??

Now, watch this and tell me how many times he passed back when he was faced with a defender in the final third??

Infact go to 1:07 and tell me what you see Komekn... Nacho chickening out on taking on a man or Nacho actually sending that defender/midfielder into oblivion before sending an intelligently weighted pass into Vardy's path... Tell me what you see.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bZwX8jsVvfk

Then this below is Nacho in the final third crowded by defenders in front of him... Did he pass back? Did he try to find Vardy or find support with a back pass? Nooooo... Lad took brilliant quick touches and buried the ball in the bloody net.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ozJBwgUtPZU

And note this very carefully.... There are times in a game when a backpass or side pass is the best or better option at that time during gameplays. Passing backwards or sidewards have been proven to contribute to dragging an opponent's players out of their defensive shape in order to exploit pockets of spaces and create room for buildup to another attack or to quickly launch attacks against that opponent. It is not rocket science mister!!! Sometimes a back pass or side pass is more useful at some points during a game than a dribble that may lead to nothing.

You keep talking crap here about our Naija lads and your minions roll out the drums offering you drinks and sausages to stroke your ego. These "cocksuckers" of yours are really deceiving you for they know nothing themselves. Infact, I am pretty sure they have no idea what I just explained about the importance of backpasses or sidepasses even as simple as it is.

If anyone in here actually agrees with all (and not some of) what you said in that ill-informed and obviously bias-laden post of yours, then you all have really taken clownishness to the next level.

This is all of you below.... Clowns!!!! grin
I love you.. No caps.. Your contributions drew me to this thread

But here is a piece of advice, you need to water down the way you use insultive words while trying to proof a point.. No matter how biased a point might be, he has a right to his opinion..

I hope you take this advice in good faith

And did i tell you that I love how zealous you are for everything Nigerian?

You want my attention so badly then you earn
I've seen several fools but some factors make yours very distinct and damn you were super blind when I acknowledged his development i only raised concern about his lose of possession he lost possesion 9 times today iffu ask me thats not good for player that have hyped to the sky like that according to pa Chriskel he is a typical elite central midfielder and mind he is not playing in the championship ,not even in the top 5 best league in europe ,not in eredivise , jupiler ,Turkish league but in Spain second division i only concern raised about this
And another that shows you high level stupidity and your low IQ is I never said I watched the match I only gave my preposition from the stats posted by joebie and the matured dude gave me a sensible reply and was damn curious and i was actually heading to watch the match before I saw your stupid mention
Yh back to igbekeme it like that dude is sleepless night and am damn sure he is driving you crazy for what I said yh i mean every iota of what I said he was the midfielder in zaragoza in pre Russia 2018 and during that time am fucking he should be in top 10 best midfielder in 2018 season he was damn fantastic and this season he is currently the 5th best player in real Zaragoza and currently second best midfielder only guti is ahead of him .....so when you know nothing just STFU
Bros abeg no insult me

Bruno losses possession an average of 10 times per match yet he is among top 5 best players in the premier league, won Epl player of the month twice so that thing you type up there doesn't make sense

Yes... Champions.

Here (below) is Nwakali with the trophy alongside the goalie and Captain.

Lad was impressive today. 7.0 overall ratings on Whoscored. Passing accuracy of 91.5% or so. 4 tackles. 2 interceptions. Stats were okay. But what stats won't show you is how composed he was each time he got the ball and how he used "intelligent turns" on the ball to escape his markers a few times. He just needs to keep working and I believe preseason work will bring him up to better speed in terms of his physical conditioning and overall match sharpness.

The coach today made five changes but still left Nwakali on the field to finish the game. Looks like it all paid off. They won in the end and it culminated in a title triumph with Nwakali playing a fine part.

Commentator twice had to mention him specially on how impressive he was today.

Around the 70th min, Commentator (via La Liga Smart bank TV) said something like, "Nwakali has truly been one of the impressive performers on the field today"

Even without his comment, it was obvious. His control of the huesca midfield was very noticeable. But it's not eureka. The real work continues... But this is a fine step in the right direction of progress all same. wink
They will not say anything oh!

If he had dropped a 4.0 performance, we would have read long epistles about how unserious he is and how he spent hours in a club in Aba

The same energy you use to talk down a person when he is down, use the same energy to praise him if he stands up

Hopefully, next season will be his year
