LOL!

O my God. This got me rolling on the floor. Seriously SAED training and seminars should never be held after morning parade. You don't get enough sleep, you wake up early for the morning parade going through tough physical exertion then the camp officials overload you with information just afterwards.

Mehn body no be wood!

Good morning. What is your day of departure, time of departure(morning or evening), mode of departure(luxurious bus or 18 sitter van) and from which park in Lagos are you leaving from?

@ Ajasa4link; Baba you too much. God bless you in multiple folds for the experience you have been sharing.

About the safety factor I never meant the Kebbi-safety issue. You have already established the fact that the state is one of, if not the most peaceful state in Nigeria. That fact has been established. What I meant is this: between luxury bus and 18 sitter which one is safer for travel?

( I guess from the speed analysis you gave Luxury bus wins. Lastly Oga, that piss thing no fair; my bladder go suffer well well for this trip. And I was assuming the 18 sitters will stop regularly for piss breaks. I pity ladies on this trip.)

ajasa4link:

Cross-country is always over expensive. I will advise u not to follow them and follow young shall grow instead, it's like 5,500 at most. To get to iddo park once u reach oyingbo take a keke napep to iddo from oyingbo and ask of young shall grow park.

Oga Ajasa4link, I am yet to decide between taking the big luxury buses and those 18 sitter vans. The factors that will guide my choice are:
1. Comfort ( more than 16 hours journey no be beans)
2. Safety ( in fact this na my real no 1)
3. Periodic stops ( if piss catch me for road wetin I go do?)

Please advise. Base on the above what will it be? Luxury bus or 18 sitter?

monday...I'm considering flight though....its 13k with air peace....by road #4500 but too far so??

Oga please which airline is Air Peace? Do they have direct flight to Kebbi or Sokoto from Lagos? If no then which city do they depart from? Any information you have about the cost will be welcomed too. Thank you.
NYSC / Re: Kebbi State A'15 Let's Meet Here by JaySea: 4:30am On Apr 30, 2015
@Ajasa4link: Oga you too much. Thanks a tonne. You've done a successful job allaying my fears.

On transport; I'll enquire about the bus service from my school and also find out about the Oyingbo option you gave. The flight option is also a possibility.

Questions: How is the weather like there? Which medical ailments do you notice CMs (who come from the south) tend to suffer from shortly after arrival? (It pays to be prepared for all likely eventualities)
NYSC / Re: Kebbi State A'15 Let's Meet Here by JaySea: 10:47pm On Apr 29, 2015
ajasa4link:

Then get a straight bus from iddo park at oyingbo. u can either follow young shall grow luxurious which travels by night and will reach kebbi the next day afternoon, or follow those normal interstate buses which travel early in the morning and reach kebbi in the midnight

Dude I think it will be unwise of me to arrive at a place I have never been before after midnight. The thought of that just sent cold chills down my spine. How do I plan my journey on road from Lagos in order to arrive in Dakingari in the day on tuesday 5th of May?

@Ajasa4Link; Welcome Oga. Which travel option are available for CMs coming from the south? How much do you assume each option cost? What in the world is "Dakingari"?

yorex2011:

Just hustle money for flight.. Else your nyash go peel for bus... grin

My God I am in deep poo. Mr Yoorex like how much do you think the flight option will cost in comparison with the road option?

And to all former and serving corp members of Kebbi State please we need your knowledge and experience on this thread. Kindly share with us what to expect and how to best prepare for life in another part of the fatherland we have never been before.
