The decline receipt of the failed POS transaction, did you show it to the bank ?

I think that would make it faster in resolving

I’ve scanned my own receipt to my bank customer service email and I copied CBN in the mail.

Hopefully, it gets resolved soon

What of me that UBA is holding my 7k since Oct 30 after a failed POS transaction?

Went to bank and they gave me ten days but I thought CBN said every failed transaction should be resolved within 24hrs.

I don’t understand banks these days.

Have they credited you the 7k ?

I’m also facing the same issue. But mine is Gtbank, 12k, failed POS transaction too

Zenith Bank is found of deducting people's money without reversing it. Just the other day about 2 weeks ago while using their ATM My 15000 naira was deducted without dispensing or reversing it. Another time my 2200 was deducted while trying to pay for something online, the transaction failed but my money was deducted without been reversed.
I went to the bank nothing was done
Complained through their social media nothing was done. It was through their social media I discovered I wasn't the only it was happening to.

A friend of mine said she sent 5k to a woman struggling to feed with her kids, On receiving the alert the woman went to use her ATM but couldn't get any cash, her money was deducted but not reversed.


Is it that zenith Bank is broke and in debt and using people's money to pay debt?

The drop in dollar is because of the festive season. There is a high demand for naira now, due to a lot of Nigerians in diaspora returning home for Christmas and changing their dollars to Naira.

So there is no scarcity of dollar in the black markets for now. There is excess of it.

I met one in NYSC camp during my service year. She said she is not an “ordinary copper” and she won’t allow the military men on camp and the Man O War to boss her around. As at then, I hadn’t heard about it before, when I googled it, I saw a lot of stories about the merchant navy being illegal and at one point, they even had a fight with the real navy in Apapa port, Lagos

Most of these merchant navy paid huge sums to join the formation and many of them are not even aware that it is illegal and not yet approved by the Nigerian senate.
