veave: God will bless you for being the only person who is telling us the truth. Imagine others saying cold is too much. Mtchww Most Nigerians in the US will try and discourage you from coming with all sorts of lies and excuses because they don’t want more people here, they want to have it all to themselves Don’t let anyone tell you lies. US is filled with money making opportunities |

Evii: Hello bro, congratulations. I'm happy for you. Do US still issue visa under this COVID? Secondly, are you going for studies or tourism? They give more of student visa But if you can convince them that you really have an important conference to attend. They will issue you B1/B2 visa Tourism and conference falls under B1/B2 |

USA is the best.
There are many low key states here where Nigerians have not flooded and the job opportunities, educational opportunities and business opportunities are maaad!
The Bulk of Nigerians in the US live in Houston, Texas Dallas, Texas Atlanta, Georgia New York, NY Chicago, Illinois Los Angeles, California
My friend recently moved to Nebraska. Very sweet state. He keeps telling me to come over here, because there are lots of opportunities in the state with less competition, as Nigerians have not flooded the state
US na the way ooo |

DAramis: Bro, sorry for quoting you here. Can you give me an idea on how you were able to process your conference application and the exact website you use.
Majority I saw are claiming it to be going to happen online. I will so much appreciate your run down of the steps you took till the final visa approval. Thank you. Think out of the box bro. I started searching for conferences in October 2020. 90% of the conferences were online because of Covid. I streamlined and rephrased my search and went looking for conferences that must require physical presence and attendance. And I found a few. Even though Covid is a barrier, there are still many conferences that require physical participation. I will post more info here later on the processes I followed, so everyone can benefit from it. |

Hey guys Quick question! I’m currently in the states. I entered 2 months ago with a B1/B2 visa for a conference. I was stamped in 6 months at the POE. Now I wanna study, but the school I went to here in Illinois told me that I cannot attend the graduate program (MBA) I intend to study with a B1/B2 visa, that I need an F1. So guys, can I apply for an F1 visa here in the states, or I will have to return to Nigeria and apply for it. Basically, starting all over Or can anyone recommend me any school in the states that would allow me do my masters in business administration with my B1/B2 visa. I’m currently in Chicago, but I don’t mind relocating to another state, so far a school there will accept me. |

Spaxon: Hello. I dunno if I can get help. I don't really know the specs of these cars. But I believe we got people with great experience here. My Dad's retired and wants to get one of these and we are actually inexperienced with cars outside Toyota. Spaxon, Do not go for Acura ZDX or BMW. Their parts are hard to source and are very expensive like Mercedes Benz parts. Honda parts are all over Lagos and very affordable Anyways, We got this clean 2012 Honda Crosstour available at 4.8M https://www.nairaland.com/5951388/2012-honda-crosstour-full-options |

Trash! No one in the North or South East knows or used this slangs
Remember, north has 19 states, more than half of Nigeria
So if northerners don’t use this slangs, you can’t title this thread “10 popular slangs used by Nigerians in 2020”
Totally incorrect
It should be more like “10 popular slangs used by Lagosians, Yorubas, or South Westerners in 2020”
I’m also very sure people in the south south of Nigeria like PH, Benin and Warri know nothing about this slangs
The Slang every Nigerian used is “Wahala be like bicycle”
And it didn’t even make your trashy list |

Strongbest: Yes. In as much as nothing justifies theft and bursting of pipeline, still, I will say the creativity of these guys should be applauded by the government. These boys are building local refinaries and can bodly refine the crude oil themselves.
The government should better absorb them, sit them down and discuss and learn how they build functional refinaries......
Imagine the capacity of just one of the guy's local refinary.
These guys creativity can be harnessed by the government, instead of taking our crude oil abroad and buying the end product back at a ridiculous price. They are not doing anything spectacular What they are doing can easily be done by a chemistry graduate By the way, the fuel they are “refining” is very dangerous both to health and to motor engines. |

Omoedeki: Wese90 is such a trusted fellow. If not that I used him as an escrow I'll have fallen victim of a scammer here on Nairaland.
Etin06 contacted me that he has C$85 Transferwise funds for sale and asked me for my rate. After that I asked him to send the funds and also drop his naira account. He said he does not send funds first so I suggested we seek the services of an escrow from Nairaland. I contacted wese90 to be our escrow.
Wese90 requested for the ID of both of us and also dropped the terms and conditions. After sending my ID and the naira equivalent to wese90, Etin06 refused to fulfil his own end of the deal and went offline. His phone number switched off.
Please be careful while dealing with anyone on a forum like this. Wese90 has send my funds back to me. He is such a trustworthy individual and I'll recommend him to anyone especially a newbie like me. But what is Wese doing with peoples ID. Other escrows don’t ask for that How many ID cards of people have he gathered from this forum all in the name of escrow. What if he goes rogue in future and start using peoples ID for nefarious activities. You never can know People change ooo My high school mate that was once a pastor, preaching to us in school then to repent and leading prayers in Assembly ground back then. Fast forward 15 years later, I met him in Lekki last year. He is now a big yahoo boy. Lol. |
