Mind you, that same evidence you’re looking for can be faked so there goes your argument.

My mistake was that I didn’t ask the people I paid to quote my former post with screenshots or something. I don’t do business on nairaland so I didn’t think it was necessary.

I’ll tell you this though, I’ll provide evidence when anybody comes out here to throw dirt on my name and only if they provide evidence as well. Ciao!

This case is funny. Everybody keeps complicating the matter by introducing new factors. Both the seller and the buyer have faults, but not entirely how everyone might think.

The buyer is at fault for not entirely knowing what he was getting into. Ignorance is not an excuse, as they say. In businesses like these, sellers ALWAYS assume a buyer understands the deal unless he/she asks. They've dealt with a lot of people, probably for years now, nobody has time to read T's and C's for you. I mean, you had to know there was a catch to the device being significantly cheaper. In my opinion, the seller doesn't exactly have fault in this part.

That being said, the seller's fault came from his attitude to the whole thing. Customer is always right, as they also say, even if some customers don't know anything about anything. Dealing with noobs can be stressing, but good customer service goes a long way as well. If you ask me, I'll say that's what's paining the buyer sef but he won't stop beating about this big bush. He was expecting to be pampered but the way the seller responded was, in his opinion, harsh.

I believe the buyer knows what to do at this point. Just take the L and move on, it's not even a total loss. You'll be fine! Seller, please do better next time as well. May your business continue to prosper.

Y’all beware of the scammer that goes by the username of rita33. He contacted me about the funds I requested, his nairaland account is a female account and the WhatsApp is male (red flag). We came to an agreement about everything and I opted to use escrow (Wese90 of course) and pay the charges.

Guy was pushing against using escrow under the guise of escrow dey delay. Oya send funds first, baba say na him first time of dealing with me. As if na my 10th time of dealing with him (another red flag).

I added Wese90 and him to a GC and made the payment to Wese90. The dude ghosted immediately escrow confirmed payment, I called countless times but he never picked. Escrow still tried confirming with him before refunding me but he came online and ignored all the messages.

I hope nobody falls victim to this mindless scammers!

You don't know how to quote comments, you're rude and actually the one behaving like a kid, throwing insults and curses everywhere, all in the name of a phone you're "selling by choice, not by force". Do you even know anything about Samsung screens? You're here claiming the phone was being used comfortably by "the owner", in that state. Well, the owner must be one blind person to be able to use phone like that, or just dead broke cos the screen is expensive and a clean UK used s8 isn't even worth up to 80k these days.

Now you're here trying to sell this totalled piece for 50k. Lemme tell you something, I'm using a Samsung s8 that I bought with an ever so slight crack at the top corner for 46k my guy. I put a full screen guard on top and it's good as new. Reason the price and do the needful, or just quit trying to sell it altogether. No need to get all hostile and carry the childish idea that everybody here are kids. Some people no be your mate at all sir, thank you. If you like insult me abi curse me, nobody go still buy am like that. No be curse, na fact.
