Phones / Re: Htc Desire Hd by jayzee(m): 3:06pm On Apr 07, 2011
I'm guessing you created an ad-hoc network with a windows laptop. Am i correct?

If that is true, your HTC Desire HD will not see the ad-hoc network.

You can search google online for more. However, i share my network wirelessly via my mac and that works.

Sports / Re: Nigeria V Benin Rep. Wld It Be Worth Watching? I'm Heart Broken by jayzee(m): 9:33am On Jan 28, 2008
It pays to be positive, but not at the expense of reality. Even if Mali loses to Ivory Coast, we still need to beat Benin, which is not guaranteed. Assuming all works in our favor, let's face it, we haven't shown the character and mentality of champions. I don't see us moving forward and thats reality
Sports / Re: Ghana 2008 Match: Nigeria Vs Mali by jayzee(m): 10:42pm On Jan 25, 2008
The king is dead. Long live the king.

Nigeria sadly is overrated. And what makes this situation worse is our boastfulness and arrogance we conceal as confidence.

We haven't had a team for years. And at the rate we are going, it will only get worse unless we go for the guys from the age group.

We are very much like the english national team. Overrated, over bloated, under achieving, super hyped.

We should watch out for Benin

@Raahym

Interesting perspective. And i must agree, its time we reflect this country's image in the right light. Its good to know that you are striving on building a solid foundation by doing things right.

However, are there not stations that are cleared for this region that are not currently being explored? For instance, the Sky Bouquet, since you guys already have sky news. Why not the rest like Sky Sports News, Movies, Sky One e.t.c? Documentary stations too. I don't know the nature of DSTVs 'exclusive' arrangement with Discovery or History Channel, but aren't there alternatives that can be aired for this region? Cartoon Network? grin

People may have to pay more for fresher content but believe me, i won't mind so far the content is rich. Let's wish you guys the best anyhow. Also, how soon will all the content on the terrestial package be uploaded to the sattellite platform? This ikeja thing made me shift to the sattelite and i'm missing CNBC Africa and others angry

Thanks man.

@Raahym

Thanks for taking the time to answer pple's questions and allay their fears on HiTV.

However, i noticed that you are not replying the questions that have to do with content provision as it pertains to some FTA stations like MBC bouquet. If you guys could go though the efforts of getting the likes of LBC and ART on your platform (which incidentally are pure arabic), why not look into this, as smaller operators seem to have such programming with no issues.

I have been a subscriber of HiTV before it was officially launched and i'm really rooting for them to do well, cuz i'm proudly nigerian. But there's a time, u get tired of excuses and explore your options, cuz right now i'm getting really bored with the package. You guys have to agressively acquire new content, enter into partnerships with smaller operators if the need arises.

Let's hope you guys improve soon
