I think the problem is with the LASG. For several months now, they have created so much uncertainty within waste management sector. For no apparent reason, LASG has 'terminated' the contracts of the current handlers, leaving the players that have invested so much, running losses. The question is "Instead of making improvements to an already working process, why disrupt it in it's entirety?". It's political (Fashola vs. Ambode) if you ask me.

I think Ambode should be blamed for the recent floods in Lagos to the extent that it is man-made.

I drive a VW Golf 3 station wagon and the catalyst was removed as at the time I bought it. If I had known, I would have been more careful. The fuel consumption is not that bad but not that great either. I expect that it would be better than what it is right now.

Would it be advisable to replace the catalyst for this car? How much do you think I can get this for? What should I be looking out for?

On my next car, I will need to check that the Catalyst is still there. Infact, that would be the major determinant for buying from any seller. I hear also that they do not allow you to scan the vehicle? But they will allow a mechanic and panel beater abi? Them dey craze! Infact, this is the reason why I don't want to buy from cotonou because, in whatever shape the car comes, na your own.
