It’s all about US interest. You are mistaking if you really think for once US cares about democracy in Niger. It’s all about the resources period.
PoliticsRe: ECOWAS Defence Chiefs To Invade Niger On ‘d-day’ – Official by Jbleenk: 5:00am On Aug 19, 2023
This is a strategic war for protection of interest. American, EU and Nigeria shares same interest in this war - the tran-Sahara gas pipeline connecting Warri to EU

Russia has an opposing interest and Niger is Russia ally. After the bombing of Russian gas line supplying EU gas, a major hit on Russia economy I doubt if Russia will ever let the Trans Sahara gas pipeline to Europe go online.

The war is all about resources you’d be foolish not to see this and now it’s getting dangerous.

In this case, you have no business with Alimony

You guys are married but yet to have children
Besides the marriage is still too young to talk about any nonsense Alimony

The first step is to ask for a refund of the bride price and once that is achieved, then you are fine

But if her family refuse to refund the bride price you have to still go ahead withe divorce

But I just have to let you know that, you rushed into this and now you are rushing out

Next time don't be in a hurry take your time

Understanding women is not something you will just assume that a woman will remain faithful

Take time and know what you want from a woman, if you can then you will get it
Thanks mate. We’ll appreciated.

You have not been married long enough for alimony to apply to your divorce. It’s usually a marriage of 10+ years. Usually.

But if you have kids, then child support applies until the kid is 18.
This sounds great if true. Well we don’t have kids anyways.

Even as we are separated?
FamilyHow Do I Avoid Paying My Wife Alimony In The Event Of Divorce? by Jbleenk(op): 5:32am On Aug 17, 2023
I am looking at divorcing my wife on the ground of mainly cheating among a lot of other reasons. We are only married for about 9 months.

I saw a compromising chat on her phone where someone was asking her to come spend the night with him. My problem is not the guy asking her to come spend the night with him, my problem is her reply to him.

She was supposed to be in school that day but I went to pick her from school the previous day cause she has an appointment with the doctor.

She told the guy when he asked her to come spend the night that she won’t be able to come because she’s writing exams. Meanwhile she’s actually not writing any exam at that period, and was in my house at that point.

I confronted her but she came up with stories that didn’t add up. I suspected that:

1 she must have been having sexual affairs with this person

2 she probably would have gone if she was in school.

Right now I have separated with her against pleading from her families and thinking of initiating a divorce process.

My question is how do I go about this and not pay alimony as she don’t deserve anything from me.

The story with her is a lot deeper I hope to find time and the presence of mind to write someday. In the meantime, I need to go ahead with the divorce and move on.
PoliticsRe: Tinubu Gets Fresh Push From U.S Against Military Junta by Jbleenk: 6:06am On Aug 15, 2023
It will be foolish for Tinubu to lead the war against fellow African brothers in the interest and request of USA and its allies who are known for killings and profiteering during war.

Africa will be the greatest losers in the war is persecuted.

A sensible person will understand that tact and perception places a very important
role in national economies.
Economies have been ruined, banks have been destroyed due to rash decisions.
What does Tinubu knows about the economy that he is single-handedly driving Nigeria's
economic policies?

And don't mention IMF because those ones are scavengers with zero loyalty to Nigeria.
Tinubu might not know much about policies that will better the economy but I think he’s in the right direction in removing subsidies on fuel especially. It don’t make sense for a broke country like Nigeria to be spending $10billion dollars subsidizing fuel, it just don’t especially when they have to borrow to do this. How does it even make sense to some people?

You guys should learn to read and not just cut and paste headlines. What it's saying is ratio of debt to revenue not how much you're using to service debts.
The news article put 2022 figure at 80% and claimed it MAY hit 100% by 2023. Note that these are estimates from KPMG and not official statistics from govt.
DMO debt management office has come out to inform the whole Nigeria that it cost the country about 90 to 96% of her revenue to service debt. You want to argue with those who are in charge of managing the country’s debt?

Can you prove it that the country uses 90% of her revenue to service debts?
In fact it is even 96% and not 90% and expert are projecting it could be more. Why do you think Buhari kept on borrowing?

PoliticsRe: 62% Of Nigerians See Country Moving Forward Under Tinubu - CMC Survey by Jbleenk: 3:56am On Aug 14, 2023
The steps Tinubu is taking is what any sensible person who knows his onions would take in light of situation we find ourselves in Nigeria.

A country who spend 90% of her revenue to service debt can’t continue servicing electricity, fuel, fx etc else it will implode.

El Rufai has been in govt and in great cohort with every successive govt from way back and with every govt comes more and more power. Those with Tinubu knows how powerful El’ is atm and how potentially powerful he could get if served in this administration and are hell bent to curtail him but they will fail eventually.
