Religion / Re: My 8 Year Old Son's Debate With A 7yr Old Atheist by Jbleenk: 7:14pm On Dec 13, 2021 |
Tetehjewels: These thingS have no basis for comparison. How can you juxtapose professions with religion? You are taken to church or mosque as the case may be all your life, indoctrinating an uncritical religious system in you where what u think does not matter, you are comparing that with a schooling system where you have a certain degree of allowance to choose you profession. No basis for comparing. When I get home I will eleborate on this religion and paste here I will only hope u read it objectively. Let me get home. Nigerians need some schooling on this 6 Likes |

Tetehjewels: No not at all, it doesn’t come close. Religion can be used as a means of control, a weapon, a means of stripping you of your identity. It even goes deeper than that if u understand it. If we start this discussion it won’t end today and I don’t have the luxury of time. You can reach out to me and I will take my time and school you on this. 2 Likes 1 Share |

BigDawsNet: I would have concentrated on acquiring professional certifications instead. I thought masters from a university in Uk will be in high demand. But the craze has dwindled by the time I came back to home. My case shouldn’t stop you from sponsoring your cousin tho. 2 Likes |

Education / Re: Adekunle Oyeyemi: Court Orders Covenant University To Pay N10m As Damages by Jbleenk: 9:36pm On Oct 14, 2021 |
Krismas: The order will only be written after the the appeal period elapse. Even If they appeal and lose u still don’t need their consent to debit their account. My point basically is u don’t need anybody’s consent to cash out on a garnished account. 1 Like |

Odewaleadesoye: There’s something called court garnishee order. Once pronounced against an institution, company or government establishment, u don’t need the consent or authorization of whom it’s written against before u present it to a bank for the account to be debited. It’s an order from the court and must be honored. 4 Likes |
Crime / Re: Nigerian Arrested For Selling Illicit Drug On Cruise Ship In India by Jbleenk: 7:33am On Oct 08, 2021 |
Don’t know why ecstasy is a classified drug. In U.K. for instance, u can only be arrested if u have it in commercial quantity. Ecstasy is just a party drug used to stay active and alive during raves. Shit need to be declassified. |

U had all these experiences within how many days? Modified I didn’t expect this to make front page but as it has I have to state something very important. I’m a Nigerian from the southwest region. I never believed in one Nigeria until I read a post on YouTube authored by a non Nigerian based in America. She seem so proud of Nigeria more than I am and mentioned how much Nigeria is well recognized and help put Africa in the world map than any other African country and how she wade off bullies once she mention and lie that she’s from Nigeria. By and large, I think we will be greater and more recognized if we remain one. We need find way to settle our differences and make this country great. Here’s the link to the video she commented on. Look for Valarie Kinging’s comment. I hope u get inspired from reading her comment like I did. God bless Nigeria. God bless Africa. 58 Likes 4 Shares |
Travel / Re: Nigerians Who Returned From Abroad: Any Regret? by Jbleenk: 10:27am On Sep 16, 2021 |
I would say in the long run I haven’t had any regrets. But recounting, my early days in Nigeria was full of struggle. At a point I had to make do with 60k salary per month even though I’m a master degree holder from a university in Uk. But I had fun and made a lot of connects then. Now, I’m a lot more financially stable. So generally I wouldn’t say the move was regrettable. 1 Like |

NwaAmaikpe: This is a clear case of complex - inferiority complex like they call it - resulting from years of slavery, brainwash and systematic teaching imposed on your forefathers (a baggage generations after you still carry about) to erode you of self confidence, resulting in believing that anything coming from, invented by, brought forward or presented by you, your kinsman or a black person in general, is nothing but fake, inferior or pitiable. No thanks to RELIGION (Christianity & Islam specifically) for this. I’m waiting for the backlash but I said what I said and it is what it is. To alter this generational curse, tomorrow call your child and tell him that green and white attire is far better than the Armani bull sheet those white folks had on and watch the narrative change over time. |
