RIVERS CRISIS : A POSTMORTEM...

When the Rivers crisis broke out...

Every actor took sides immediately...

Those who still have their brains intact Vs those that have heads without brains

The gov quickly move with his army to burn down the Rivers House of Assembly and permanently kill the 3rd arm of govt

Enough Money was pumped into the state judiciary by the gov to legalize his coup against the 3rd arm of govt.

The gov created a 3 man house of Assembly. with all the 3 members being the principal officers of the house..
one was speaker, the 2nd was deputy speaker, The 3rd Chief wip. no floor member.

The president noted this abnormally and invited the key actors in the crisis. and reached an agreement of give and take by both parties.

The gov started implementing his part, recall Wike loyalists as commissioners, withdraw court cases, dissolved his caricature house of Assembly and started respecting the Wike faction Assembly..

But some busybodies felt the gov gave too many concession.. the likes of Atiku, Obi, Rivers Elders, E.k Clark, PANDEF, IYC , Falana & co.

this busybodies urge the gov to be a man and fight, the condemned the president, and said he is not a court of law and must stay away from the crisis and let the court decide.

The gov was bouy by the hailing of the busybodies and tore BAT agreement to shred.. recreated his 3 man house of Assembly

He became a lord, his 3 man Assembly made laws, pass budget among others

His supporters vow that anyone who touch him will ignite war in ijaw land.

The new emperor said House of Assembly exist because of him, he can make them disappear.

The supreme court judgement ended all the drama when it ruled that Sim Fubara has murdered Democracy in River State when he burnt down the house of Assembly and shut down the assembly..
the judgement stated that Democracy stand with three legs of Legislature, Executive and Judiciary..
if one is gone then democracy is dead
it concluded that River State have no govt.

The president gave them time to implement the judgement, instead of standing up as a leader, Fubara started shooting skit,
Writing notice of budget presentation, fixing date and going to the Assembly uninvited.

Telling his militant youths he will give them signal to act when destruction wants to start.

Those Busy Bodies who said BAT have no right to intervene were now begging him to wade in..

The Wike loyal Assembly decided to play their last card IMPEACHMENT

The Gov decided to play his last card
Bombardment of Pipeline as his supporters promised..

ANARCHY WAS BORN..

And as a responsible govt.. BAT decided to sack all of them..

Sanity must prevail...

If Fubara didn't Bomb and Demolished the House of assembly complex because of fear of impeachment, The #19 Billion wasted on the new complex would have gone a long way in other sector of human and infrastructure development
