Politics / Re: China Plans To Scam Nigeria - Max Amuchie by jeak123(m): 6:57am On Apr 15, 2016
Wake up Nigeria. Did everybody read the write up before commenting. We need consider the far reaching effect of an agreement of this magnitude. China has its FR in dollars and we are going to keep a part of our reserves in Yuan and we think it is an intelligent move. They are bound to win and we are bound to lose. Every part of the agreement favors China. The money will not be handed over to Nigeria only goods and services to the tune of 2 billion dollars. Interesting isn't it? What are we getting fake and worthless projects that has no direct bearing on the suffering of Nigerians. This calls to mind the rail project executed by previous govt. Where did it leave us? China sold to us trains that date back to1945 in this present day and time.
Is it the same type of technology they intend bringing into the country. Let it be known that China has never been an answer to any country's woes.
The president should sit down with his think tank group and fashion out a new way of moving this country forward. Cut down leakages from the economy and embolden his drive for corruption free economy. Not going cap in hand begging for handouts that will enslave Nigerians. God help our leaders!
Car Talk / Re: 7 Myths About Fuel Economy by jeak123(m): 5:55am On Mar 28, 2016
@OP, I have always been wondering on the fuel consumption of the car while the a/c is on. This confusion stems from the fact that, even while the engine is off, you can run your car a/c. The only snag is it runs down your battrey How come the a/c consumes fuel when it actually runs on the car battery? Would be grateful if more light is thrown on this.
Politics / Re: Al-Jazeera Portrays Nigerian Women As Prostitutes: Nigerians On Twitter React by jeak123(m): 10:19am On Mar 26, 2016
DIKEnaWAR:
Before you talk: remember that as long as you depend on a man to recharge card, Dstv, light or buy you this and that or take you and your mother or sister shopping in Dubai or living off a man --Ajazeera is speaking to you! Learn mechanic or hair dressing instead of waiting for a man to pay you for spreading your legs for him.

Most Nigerian women now feel entitled to your money as soon as you start sleeping with them or even collect their number. E sweet me, e sweet you, yet you want me to pay?

Funny thing is, even the so called pilots and doctors and Lawyers have joined this game. Most of them have that chairman that pay for the expensive clothes, perfumes and vacations. There are still decent ones who don't, but they have become the endangered specie.

I have read through the whole comments but the one above was spot on. He has said it all. The above write up is the attitude of most Nigerian women. No matter how much we try waving it away, it still remains the truth. The only painful thing about is that, it's coming from a foreign media.

Politics / Re: It’s Cheaper To Import Petrol Than Refine Locally — Kachikwu by jeak123(m): 9:06am On Mar 15, 2016
The minister in saying that it is cheaper to import than produce in Nigeria has failed. How can importation at this time of lean foreign exchange be better than producing at home. I think some of our leaders doesn't seem to understand how the economy is faring. What is he doing to ensure that the anomaly is corrected. We keep hearing that new refineries are on the way but when will they come on stream, no one seem to know. Instead of destroying illegal refineries in the creeks, the government should call those in the creeks with these refineries and work out modalities at ensuring that crude oil is made available to them while the government regulates their operations and I think, it will go a long way in reducing the rate of oil theft, create jobs for the teeming youths of these areas as well as help in conserving our scarce forex.
Politics / Re: Army Reacts To Hunger Strike By Reinstated Soldiers by jeak123(m): 9:38am On Jan 09, 2016
@Obayaya, you and your ilk who doesn't know what the army is, should pls shut up! Do you think what is happening in Maiduguri is video game? It is a matter of life and death. A conventional military doesn't send its men to go and die but to fight and survive. But what of when you are being sent out to die so that your little pittance can be converted. What is happening is beyond the comprehension of the ordinary man in the street.
Crime / Re: NNPC Depot CSO Hired Us To Vandalise Pipelines – Suspects by jeak123(m): 9:55am On Jan 02, 2016
I don't know why pple are surprised that the CSO is involved in that kind of nefarious activity. Most things happening is orchestrated by an insider. a corps member who served with one of the refineries told me of the rot story in the NNPC. A story that will make you shed tears for this country. On a yearly basis Turn Around Maintenance (TAM) as it is called is done on the refineries yet, the refineries never worked. This is only possible because NNPC staff never allowed it to work. Marketers pay millions to ensure that nothing work. So that they can cotinue importation of petrol and of course the subsidy nonsense. God will help this country.
Romance / Re: Look At What Girl I Have Being Chasing For 6 Months Sent Me by jeak123(m): 2:30pm On Dec 30, 2015
@ op, women are funny creatures. They say what they don't mean and mean what they don't say. Her message to you is quite misleading. She may not have been saying bye bye as everyone think. Her words are deep waters. Do get in touch with her and talk with her again. We all might all be wrong about our assessment. Try this and get back to us.

Politics / Re: Buhari Has Committed Impeachable Offence - Ezeife by jeak123(m): 7:37am On Sep 06, 2015
Nairalanders, I am sure that most people making contributions here never read through what Dr Ezeife said. Pls read through before commenting. He pointed out a flaw in the present govt which is glaring. All the insults and name calling are irrelevant. If the recent past administration had done that, for sure he would have been hounded yet no one sees what President Buhari is doing as wrong. How selective we are in our reasoning.
The man never insulted anyone in that interview. This is why we are where we are today because we don't take time to consider things. We call people sycophants yet we are worse than the uneducated. Name calling even when its glaring that there is something wrong with how appointments were being made, yet we fail to see it.
please let us stop being myopic and unnecessarily judgemental just because someone comes from a
particular region. Let us support this govt but not stupidly. The president cannot be right all the time. When he is wrong let us in the same one voice condemn that action this keep everybody in check of seeing anyone and everyone who criticizes the president as an enemy.

Romance / Re: My Girlfriend Said Her Previous Guy Was Stronger In Bed. by jeak123(m): 2:55pm On Jun 25, 2015
@ Op, i have read through the various posts. some were on point but so many were way out of the world. I want to ask if you have running shoes. if you do, please put it on and run as fast as your legs can carry you. Thank your God that you discovered this early before stepping into marriage with the said lady. It is as clear as day light that you 2 are sexually incompatible. Go into the marriage and you two will always have issues. Unresolved issues that you will not know that it stems from sexual incompatibility. Marriage is not just for a day. Comparing you and an ex with such feat...i doubt it although it is not uncommon.
Find yourself some other girl who doesn't have that kind of sexual appetite. It is not that you will not improve yourself, but her sexual appetite, you won't be able to cope with. that's my 2 penny piece. the girl get mind oohh.

Irohjohnpaulc: I even hv some companies in my home town lokpaukwu umuchieze in umunneoch LGA abia state. Lebanese n chinese company. Quarry company were dey crush stone i.e chippins. Dey use us as if we r slaves even in my own house. If u come dia n c wot dis ppl take away in my town n hv done notin 2 my ppl u will shed tears 4 us

My dear brother, there is dis saying 'don't complain about what u permit'. So many Nigerians are boot leakers. Don't b surprised dat u are here complaining while some pple are feeding fat trom d confusion. I would advice dat u tell ur pple to write to d company stating d anomalies and a copy sent to d commissioner of police, anoda to NLC, anoda to d office of d governor of ur state and anoda to the senate giving dem a deadline for dem to either make amends or ur community will close down d company. U'll c a change. It has neva stopped to work. And if they don't, ur whole entire community including women n children should siege d company and force dem to stop work.

There is a company in Portharcourt, called CNPC. Some nigerians have worked with dem for over 15 years and they are still casuals. D day i visited a friend there, i couldn't stomach d nonsense happening there. Our leaders have betrayed us n also some of our brothers who are cohorts to these chinese. Even when a report is made n Nigerian officials visit, u wont hear anything about d matter after d visit. Niagerians, we are d problem of nigeria.
