There is a popular opinion that women lose interest in sex as they grow older, but it is not true. Many women want to maintain active sex lives well into their fifties and sixties. A Nigerian woman in her sixties writes comedian, Alibaba, over the frustrations of women who are sex-starved by their husbands who run after younger girls while they abandon their wives at home for years. She said, Let me talk my own and let every person hear am. Many women in my age grade nowadays are suffering from sexual neglect. Husbands have stopped playing their sexual roles in the bedrooms. Many women are dying in silence, I know a former governor’s wife. The only thing she got for 10months was peck on her cheek on her 60th. After that birthday she was never touched by her husband. To make it worse, they even have their separate bedrooms. Ali, we dey suffer. Let me tell you sometimes, the only time we get to dance with our husbands is during weddings, funerals, old boys, and Yoruba tennis club parties. That is if you are invited. The last time my husband touched any part of me is five years ago, and it was because I begged him. And if it was not that we were in AMERICA. Who born me. Then it was because we thought Yaradua’s death will cause wahala. so we ran to US. Aburo, at least I senior you. it’s not easy for us women over 50years o. Especially the ones like us who are still under a man’s roof. The ones who get a bit of it are the ones who are separated or who are divorced or widowed. Where do I want to start from, to open my legs at 60 something for another man when I am still under my husband’s house. That is why you see that containers of intimacy gadgets come into Nigeria every month, and in weeks they are sold out. I swear to God, plus pastor’s wives o generals, governor’s MDs of companies, chairman sef. all of us dey buy to help ourselves. This is what you should be writing about not all these girls who marry people that are beating them and because of the money they will sit down there and say they are abused. Them use juju gum their yansh there. Koshi danu. See this matter of sex starvation I am talking about is even getting worst. Young ladies who are below 30 are also complaining. Young men will now keep them at home as baby making machine and be following small girls up and down. Me I don’t have pity on these girls between 20 and 40 who get married and their marriage does not last. How will it last. Before some of them got married, Ali my brother, if you see what they used people’s husbands eyes to see. We are just bearing the husband’s name for nothing. They are the ones that are enjoying him. They stay in 1004, lekki, whats that place behind shoprite and even dolphin, parkview ikoyi. But to rent common shop for us to do business, our husband will ask if someone is not been catered for. Many men after 40 years cannot make a wife orgasm again. They are now lazy. once they enter its premature ejaculation. They will now be claiming tiredness. Awon oloriburuku. I can beat my chest to say the men that can make a woman orgasm 2 times are not up to 100 thousand in Nigeria. And even that sef they are all below the age of 30. all the rest when they come, that’s all. The woman will go and find her own. You may think this is funny but this is the real problem nobody is talking about. This is why you see young men are having sugar mummies up and down. the men of 30 and above have sexual problem. They like to follow young girls who deceive them and tell them they are lions in bed. Lies! I have nieces who tell me how they pretend and the men too would fall for it and give them everything they want. Some will now marry them after they have one child for him. How is a 65 to 75 year old man going to satisfy a 22years old girl. Ali, be honest. How? All that Viagra is a lie. If it stands up, which blood will remain for his heart to pump. That’s why they are dying anyhow. Imagine my friend just went from park to see the husband in the office behind mega plaza and this girl that walk pass her at the reception had the same lip stick that stained her husband’s sokoto. And he went to mosque that day oooo. shebi she came to collect the weekend money. My friend too collected 300k that day. So now every Friday she goes to his office. Then after, these same girls get married they will say they don’t want to catch their husbands with another girl. You can’t escape it. You will share him like you shared other people’s own. Ali let me level with you if after 5years my husband doesn’t touch me I will find a young man that will do his job. Because I swear that he gets it from those little girls running around Lagos half dressed. So help me post this. Let them be ready for their own turn. Your husbands will be shared. They shall feel our pains too. If you like post it o.

Juliana Olayode, popularly known as ‘Toyo baby,’ is loved for her role in the comedy TV series, Jenifa’s Diary. Playing the character of Jenifa’s (Funke Akindele) best friend , Juliana didn’t expect to get the role when she went for the audition as there was a crowd. In a chat with The Nation, the actress talks about how she got the opportunity to feature on the TV series and why she would not expose her body to play a role. 1. Apart from Jenifa’s Diary, she has featured in other movies Yes. I have featured in other movies like Where Does Beauty Go, Rivers Between, Couple of Days, and others. 2. She is a writer I write scripts, I have sold some of my scripts and kept some in my archives, hoping to produce them someday soon 3. She has vowed to remain a virgin until marriage I opened up (about virginity) because God instructed me to. Some years ago, I was at Bible Study when He said He’ll open a door for me in the entertainment industry and that when He does I should use the platform to talk about sexual purity. 4. She belongs to a ministry called ‘Mine ministry’. Out of many other things we do, we are strong advocates of sexual purity. We have our World Virginity Day. 5. She was reluctant about going to audition for Jenifa Diary I got a broadcast message from a friend, Temitope Dada, we call him Dabest. I usually don’t read BCs especially when lengthy but I did and my mentor encouraged me to go for it. I had been going for several auditions and they never got back to me, so a part of me didn’t want to go for the audition. Dabest also told me to give it a try, so did my mum and some other friends. I attended the audition and I was 527 on the list. The audition was supposed to start by 10am. I was there by 8am and was surprised to see the crowd. I wanted to go back home but my mum, mentor and friends that I called, told me not to leave there without being auditioned. A few days later, I was called for another audition. I scaled through and was called back for yet another. It was really competitive as we had about 20 people wanting to play Toyosi at the third stage of audition. But all thanks to God who singled me out and I was picked to play the role. That’s how I found myself in Jenifa’s Diary. 6. She is also a make-up artist I learnt makeup for the series, Jenifa’s Diary. I was told ahead that the character would venture into makeup in the next season and Mrs Funke Akindele Bello told me to learn to help make it real. 7. Her role models Jesus is my first role model; He is worthy to be emulated and I daily ask Him to teach me how to be like Him. I also have others like Mrs. Titilope Adigun, she is an amazing woman believe me when I say so. There is Genevieve Nnaji , Mrs Funke Akindele Bello, Mrs Joke Silva, Bimbo Akintola and a couple of others that I admire. 8. She is a motivational speaker My mentor, Mr. Timi Adigun helped me discover my talent. I used to think no one would listen to me and that I don’t have what it takes for people to listen to me but he encouraged me. He would give me responsibilities to talk about at Bible Study and in church. He gave me assignments that made me start enjoying talking to people and brought me out of my shell.

The word 'Habit' a ccording to free dictionary is a recurrent, often unconscious pattern of behavior that is acquired through frequent repetition. I think one of the best habit I picked from my elder Bro being confident when talking to a lady on the phone for the first time or wooing a girl in a mature manner. The 2nd best I guess is the 'come and eat' Syndrome when about eating. Most time among siblings or dudes... Or to simply get more spoons no matter how many we may be... Picked that from a close friend during my Uni. days Mods in this section: FP things... Let people share their thoughts, this is an interesting thread.

Hours ago, I was watching the highlight events of the day in which different countries participated in various games/sports of all kind. To my greatest suprise, I could not see any of the Team Nigeria members participating in some games where gold, silver and bronze medals are likely to be won. I don't really understand what the problem is. How many medals can we boast of winning in the 28 games included such as Aquatics (including swimming, diving and synchronized swimming, water polo) , Archery, Badminton, Basketball, Boxing, Canoe / Kayak, Cycling - including Track, Road, Mountain Bike and BMX , Equestrian, Fencing Golf Gymnastics (Artistic, Rhythmic and Trampolining) , Handball ,Hockey, Judo Modern Pentathlon, Rugby 7s, Sailing, Shooting Taekwondo Tennis , Triathlon Volleyball - indoor and beach volleyball Weightlifting. Today events alone, there are about 12 gold medals up for grab. What is really happening? Why are we not participating in any of these games? What is wrong with the National sport commission and why are the following sports not encouraged in our country? A whole giant of Africa as we claim have not won even a bronze medal whereas the South African team and Egyptian teams participates in most of this. At least they' ve won some. Solomon Dalung keeps celeberating birthdays and apologizing wherby other teams/participants are making their nations proud. This problem has to reviewed and possibly a solution be found to this. |

Serena Williams won her record-tying 22nd Grand Slam title by beating Angelique Kerber 7-5, 6-3 in the Wimbledon final on Saturday. Williams pulled even with Steffi Graf for the most major championships in the open era, which began in 1968. Now, Williams stands behind only Margaret Court's all-time mark of 24. This was Williams' seventh singles trophy at the All England Club and second in a row. Her victory at Wimbledon a year ago raised her Grand Slam count to 21, but while she came close to adding to that total since, she couldn't quite do it. The 34-year-old American did it, as she often does, with nearly impeccable serving. She slammed 13 aces, including at least one in each of her first eight service games. She won 38 of 43 points when she put a first serve in. And she faced just one break point - at 3-all in the second set, it represented Kerber's only real opening and shut the door quickly and emphatically, with a pair of aces at 117 mph and 124 mph, her fastest of the afternoon.

I thought of sharing this to hear our views. If Nigeria as a country were to have a book of secret, what things do you think it will contain? |
It is absurd, embarrassing and disgusting to see law enforcement officers breaking the laws of the land with reckless abandon and impunity. Concerned citizens have expressed dissatisfaction on many occasions on the rate of obedience to traffic rules and regulations among motorists in Nigeria. They allege that law enforcement agents who are expected to uphold the rules and regulations also encourage disobedience to the laws. In Nigeria, law enforcement agents and aides of political office holders seem to have a penchant for breaking traffic rules. Disobedience to traffic rules and regulations are common among most security officers. Security officers and political aides have no respect for traffic rules as they think they are above the law. So, they break the laws rather than being obedient. The rate of accidents caused by the convoy of politicians and top government officials, security agents, bank vehicles is on the rise. A lot of road users and innocent Nigerians has been killed by this act of recklessness and lawlessness. Rather than protect lives and property, they have contributed to the death of some people; the incoming government should ensure that sirens are used by appropriate authorities,’’ he says. If they can respect the laws elsewhere, why can't they respect laws in Nigeria? Who would then be the custodian of these laws and what examples are they setting for other road users?

I remembered PMB's trip to London to rest and check up for ear infection that kept him from the state visit to Lagos, the launch of UNEP clean up of Ogoni land and the ECOWAS summit in Senegal. |
