Most smart BMS come with both lifepo4 n liion profile. Unless it's non smart BMS.

Ofcourse he can put d 4 panels in 2s2p. Panels in parallel also means bigger cable. The person might b banking on using cheap cables.

This felicity chargers tell you max vdc is 130vdc, but they never say what's the max current it can handle. It only states charging current (80a in this case) but that's different from the max current into it's input (or maybe I'm wrong).
I don't want to create strings of panels in parallel that will increase current and burn the charger.

Just found it's cousin in my friends house. It's a generic charge controller that different companies stamp their brand names on it.
Looks and feels subpar. I Will observe performance, though sun has been very absent coz of rains.

It's not by display u go take no if controller nah mppt or not, open up d control n see d internals, or look through the vents, avnt see pwm come with rs485 port. The controller get app if u won see colorful designs.

Once i see that kind of display layout, even if they type the MPPT in capital pro max letters, i doubt it and run. They are just glorified pwm. I tell people a lot to change them to something better. Even felicity has one of the most solid real MPPTs.

I'm a person that love to use external CC if though i use hybrid inverters. It's for a personal reason many may not agree with. So i always want them to be solid and effective.

There is this 60a mppt than can take up to 230v voc n are within 160-180k range. If u don't av the powmr 140a CC budget

Be careful with that Felicity battery, u might b given a relabelled battery, buy battery from sellers here, plus Felicity battery no get smart BMS.
Felicity inverter I bought last month is the transformer based 5kva ivps non hybrid variant for 600k. D hybrid variant will be more expensive but not close to 1m. Like 700-800k depending on the variant u pick.
If you are going for the high frequency hybrid variant, Using 10mm cable is a waste of money too. Use 6mm or 4mm depending on the distance.

Even without putting a change over, all modern inverter bypass mode is automatic. Just make sure you don't exceed the bypass or to be on the safe side don't exceed the inverter carrying capacity in case Nepa goes off, it will leave bypass mode n enter inverter mode back.
