JPnir:i sent you a pm |
JPnir:that's cool, im also in pecs |
JPnir:which city are you in? |
Hello everyone i arrived in budapest about 2 hours ago. I will move to pecs tomorrow. @amefreeka just let us know when you back here, it will be a pleasure to meet you. i will update soon again. |
Adeh2009:Worth trying, his should make an affidavit from a notariat office. |
@akikajp it took exactly 3weeks |
Hello house i received my passport yesterday and it's good news, i got the visa. Thanks everyone for the advices and assistance. For the ones still waiting, prepare yourself in the best way and keep praying. |
@adeh2009 you may be asked why you did not use your parent the first time and what do they do to be able to finance that sum for you. It's worth trying, just prepare a convincing answer to every question possible and supporting documents. And I'm more into @moneybag100 proposal as to keep your or your parent's account running with a lot of money for a few months and then go for February intake. All in all it's your decision, do what's best for you and i wish you the best of luck bro |
akikajp:Sorry i strongly disagree with both you and @adeh2009. I don't know what happen between @amefreeka and you on bbm or whatever but i do remember @adeh2009 saying stuff like we shouldn't listen to what @amefreeka was saying! It's still in the thread. My point is @amefreeka contributed greatly to this thread with good advices, he neva claimed to know everything, he simply gave his point of view and experiences which was very helpful. You should open yours mind and listen to people, nobody forces you to do as @amefreeka or anyone else say on this thread, it's entirely up to you! And as he said, anything that can support your application even if not asked is relevant and you sould submit. But in the end these are just advices and you are free to follow or nah. Stop talking wrongly of people just trying to help in their best way. |
Demaejy:Yeah it's worth trying. Only that he would have to give a convincing explanation on why he didn't use his parents from the beginning |
@adeh2009 very sorry to hear your experiencem tho you should look for other options if you can make right that sponsorship issue and apply maybe in Poland or Romania, or some other country. I have a friend who was denied for poland last year for the same reason(uncle sponsor) but got hungary visa a few months later using her parents as sponsors. Good luck anyway |
Sorry for the very late update. I received that email from embassy stating they received reply from hungary earlier this week and i arranged pick up and sending, i expecting my passport on monday or tuesday to check Wether i was approved or denied. I'll let you know |
nikdam:I originally booked flight for tomorrow, now i have to cancel it. Let's just wait everything will be okay. It sucks that we will miss first lectures. |
akikajp:Tuition fees doesn't usually cover for accommodation, i think it's best you ask with your school's officials. which school are you going for? |
Demaejy:They didn't ask for additional documents |
Demaejy:I understand but it is quite stressful tho. School resume next monday and not having any answer is kinda frustrating. Anyway we can only wait and pray. |
nikdam:Hi how are you, i left Nigeria since wednesday trying to relax and wait. hope everything okay with you take care |
akikajp:Benin Republic? If yes are you from there or just a nigerian living there? |
akikajp:Hey don't get me wrong!! My skype interview and written was arranged with my school long before interview. I did no such things at the embassy. I was just saying that at the interview they asked me questions about those which i did months ago!!! |
Demaejy:His interview was way before ours and i think that policy wasn't effective at the time because the embassy instructed us to bring the euros in cash at the interview maybe as a result of that policy you mentioned. Anyway it's best you make the change in a bureau de change just like @bewaje ( i did the same but not in Nigeria ) to avoid getting fake notes. |
Amefreeka:No but im quite interested. If you have any information on that please share it. |
There were also questions about my sponsor and all. But basically it's all about the informations and documents you've submitted. I for example did skype interview and written test with my school before admission and i submitted the results so they asked me what was it about the interview and the test. Just do know what you are submitting and tell the truth. |
Gifs:That i don't know and i think they probably are able to verify the balance so it's best to keep enough money on the account to avoid any trouble. When you get there, they give you a form to fill and the questions for my interview was based on that. like have i been to Hungary or europe before, where have i travelled in the the past 5 years, for how long do i want the resident permit and what you been up to since you graduated. Nothing to be afraid of and just like @Amefreeka once said let your answers correlate the documents you submitted and the informations you provide on the application form and the form you fill at the interview. Be truthful and don't forge documents. Beside that it's in the hand of God so just pray and wait |
Oh yeah another advice the money on the account you are using as proof of financial means, there you always be at least the amount that is on the account balance statement or the amount you put as available savings. One guy when i went to interview had issues because he used the money after his application and interview and was denied. So until you get the visa you should always have that amount at least in the account |
Hi everyone, sorry i didn't log for a few days, as i travelled back from Nigeria Wednesday i did nearly nothing but sleeping cause my time in Nigeria was short and i had a lot to do beside the interview. About some of the questions i saw Monthly scholarship i put the amount i would be using every month and the available savings should exceed the monthly scholarship amount x the number of months you intend to stay in hungary. Additional income or assets i left blank but you can add anything relevant that brings you money on regular basis i think. Or if you have many sponsors maybe. Last permanent address abroad if you have been residing in a country different from Nigeria for a while you should mention it as they ask at the interview if you've travelled anywhere in the last 5 years. I for example put my former address in ghana. I hope you get it @bewaje Im just counting days and waiting for reply. I pray those of us still waiting reply also get it granted |
Hello guys, let me share this with you So i came yesterday through lagos and my flight to abuja was at 3:30pm. I went for check in and they say flight delayed to 6:30pm! I was like this again!! I waited annoyed until 6:30pm and now announcement says flight delayed one hour. I was tored just wanted to get to my hotel and rest. Finally they call for boarding, flight went well and i got to abuja, someone was waiting to pick me up, i went to luggage room saw what was looking like my bag, took it and left the airport right away. I got to the hotel, checked in and then went to eat. I came back to my room around 12pm wanted to bath and sleep. I open tge bag and im like wtf!!!who put this things in my bag now i opened another side no sight of my thing then i checked the bag carefully and realized i took somebody's bag f**k!!! Tried to call the company and the airport but no one picked. Frustrated i went to sleep hoping i will get my bag today. Im now coming back from the airport with my bag. Funny think is that the bag i took was the same as mine and further both bags have one side spoiled in the same exact way.anyway i can relax and get ready for interview tomorrow and enjoy my stay now. |
Anyway i am on my way to Nigeria now, i'll drop my number when i get one and anyone can join me while I'm there |
Gifs:Lol don't worry i won't. About the tuition we made international electronic wire from my dad's account. You should ask your bank what information do they need to help you wire the money and then ask the school to provide them. |
nikdam:I am |
nikdam:Hey im just reading you right now. You must look for other bureau de change or forex bureau. If you can't find any in your town ask someone you know in abuja to make it for you so you can get it. Monday is not far oga, hurry up. |
Amefreeka:@Amefreeka and @adeh2009 Guys im currently not in Nigeria and i need to pay the visa fee, do i have to do it in person or can i have someone pay it for me and just bring the receipt? im planning to come back the day before my interview so i won't have time to do it myself. |
nirJP:Dude accommodation's price depend on city (if private sector) and university (if dormitory ). You should ask yoyr school to provide you intel regarding that. |
