iPhones are overrated because you can't afford one? Abegi go back to your hut and sip garri. An iPhone will blow away most Android phones in terms of performance.

If you want to compare an iPhone to an Android, compare it to Androids of the same price range. Thank you

Their technology is out of this world.... Their smartphones is not saturated in the Nigerian market but their technology devices and components are used in telecommunication mast, Oil rigs, Maritime Sector...

Huawei are basically in charge of everything technology in the telecoms sector. From RBT to short code SMS.

Government told them to evacuate? Did the government provide alternatives?

Has the government even earned the people's trust? Nonody believes the government. Why should they? Do we even have a government?

All the orderliness you see did not just happen. There is a result of long history of a society where mutual trust has been earned, between the citizens and government, and among citizens.

Still boils down to Nigerians being the problem of Nigeria. Who votes the government in?.. the Nigerian Government is the perfect reflection of Nigerians as a people.

Appraisal of mediocrity. When other networks have unlimited data plans, MTN is even lobbying for data plans to be increased.

Don't get it Twisted. NO NETWORK in Nigeria truly has an unlimited data plan, they are all capped at 64gb.

All of you shouting "if it's Nigeria, this and that.." if the government tells you to evacuate your homes, will answer them? I remember before the Lekki Floods the Lagos State government warned residents about it but did they listen?. We are always quick to castigate the government forgetting naturally we Nigerians are very stubborn and would rather say "God forbid" , "It's not my portion" or go to one Church and sit-down than be proactive. Nigerians are the problem of Nigeria.

Look at these photos. All I see here are bunch of Civilised people. Look at the filling station, very organized queue.but for here some una go don cut one corner to go front.

You have lots of support system, not everyone is this lucky.
You also didn't tell us you most likely have another source of income.
You buy impulsively according to your writeup, who does that with 35-37k salary?

If they say they can't marry with 35k, leave it for them.
Wish them the best...
While they wish you same.

They are not rare. They are everywhere.
OP, is very discerning that's why he could pick her out of all the karashikas. Some of you want a girl with the so called 'slay queen' looks and body ...someone you can flaunt around as high class babe.

That's how you guys end up ignoring the modest babe because she doesn't look overly flashy. When slayqueen slays una pocket, you come to NL and shout all girls are the same.

Start observing pre-wedding pictures henceforth. Watch how modest young men go for modest young women. The best thing that can happen to anyone...male or female, is to know your size, it's not an insult...it's for ones peace of mind.

Lol Truth is ehn, When a guy is ready to settle down, they actually ignore the slay queens and go for the modest "just there" ladies. To most guys, Slay queens na just to scratch prick.

It's her right to complain, especially when I and you know the contestant with supporters with more alternate monikers usually win.

Beside, if this contest is to remain real and straight forward, voting shouldn't be used to determine the winner.

it's her right to complain but she should stop making insultive statements towards those who want to contest because of their looks.

i am complaining of the process and nobody from the serious side will ever contest because the process is flawed.

When something is flawed from the process, people will complain until it is made free and fair. You do not have the right to tell people not to complain.

If you want to sit by and do nothing, it's your business, after all, it is a common Nigerian habit to sit by and watch nonsense, but don't tell others how to react. That is not your right, if you don't like what I am saying, you can also walk away and wait for someone to tag you to vote any dull, funny-looking soul.

I have nothing nice to say to you. but dont ever call anyone bold enough to contest a "dull, funny-looking soul". If you are not bold enough to contest and you feel someone contesting is "dull" and "funny-looking", Swallow your tongue instead of shaming anybody.

Every year you complain of the same thing, Contest, you won't contest, nominate someone from the "Serious-minded" section to contest, you won't. If you are not interested in it why not just sit on the sidelines like the rest of us and not discourage people who want to contest with your rants. It's not Nice.

Well I would not let my brother dictate my life and relationship that I concur with you, OP should talk with GF and decide what conclusion they should come to, I don't know the girl so my default thought is that the girl would dump him if he doesn't take the offer and get a new job she might be a gem we can't see that sadly based on our experience its possible going to Canada might even not be his calling. But mehn I'd still go though grin

@bolded, that's just wrong bro. We should learn to treat each person as they come and not on a general note.

How do you think the issue of long distance marriage came about. Its from stuff like this. Besides it's not a big deal there are tales of babe leaving bf for greener pasture and even we guys understand its part of the hustle, so why we sentiment about it here because the person on the receiving and is a woman ?

This issue is a no brainer to me. If they love each other as much as they claim, this is not an issue at all. All I saw in the OPs write up is a Spineless male who is afraid of his brother and doesn't have a mind of his own. Simple.
