On behalf of all the peace and progress loving Nigerians, I wish you many fruitful years and better wishes because by May 2015, Chelsea Fc and President GEJ will be celebrating victories at the UCL and electoral levels |
barcanista:wait o! Bros! Shey na Jona work to regulate the price of garri for waterside ![]() |
(1) There is nothing like Zoning in PDP. (2). Rotimi has become unpopular in Rivers state. He's a loner; all the big wigs are under the umbrella. It is just he, Abe and their allies that are left under the sun sweeping with brooms like people wey juju catch while trying to steal in the market place ![]() (3) He is bound to fail because am sure APC won't trust him enough to give him the VP ticket considering the peculiarity of Rivers state, and he's most likely to lose a senatorial seat. Rotimi that hasn't paid Duncan Mighty the money he used in mobilising Nigerian artiste for his 2011 elections campaign concert. Mtchewwwww |

Tactical selection of committee members. If this was a football match, we would have referred to this team as "the galacticos" ![]() Mr President, come and give dem opposers of yours anoda reason to 'sleep-less' |
You are not a failure because you fell/fail, you are a failure because you stopped believing and trying to do succeed. GEJ is never a failure, on the contrary, anyone that calls him a failure is the 'real failure' because he/she has stopped believing that things can become better ![]() |
I wonder why 2face sings in English but when it comes to interviews, he struggles to put the words together and thus revert to pidgin ![]() |
Questions about who rock a particular attire better is not always fair because most times, the clothes are different and votes are done base on personal preferences for the wearer or colour/make of the fabric. Again, camera angle of the pix taken also come into play. So bring us photos of people wearing the same attires at the same events, probably taken with the same camera(individually or all together) aÑd we will judge better. Until then,......... |
Politicians so unpredictable! Won't be surprised if Buhari decamps to PDP after losing the 2015 elections. |
It is not advisable for political figures like President, 1st ladies, governors, etc. To show their admiration for a particular candidate so publicly it discourages others that may not be too close to such public figures. |
Is it that you guys are not paying your power bills or that light hasn't gotten to your areas because me can't remember the last time I charged my fone using generator, DC charger or any other form of charger o. On a more serious note, No doubt, power supply isn't what we all expect but we can't deny that things have improved to an extent. Look at the countries in Africa that you can say are enjoying better power supply than Nigeria, their size/demand for power is far less than that of Nigeria. Ghana for eg is like 7times smaller than Nigeria. Also insincerity on the part of those saddled with the responsibility of generating and managing the entire process. While those Western countries no doubt are technologically more advanced and also have better means of power generation. But again, should the president forget about all the other sectors and focus on power generation for 4years? What would become of our health, education, security, civil service, agriculture, manufacturing etc am sure we would still complain of neglect in these sectors had he left them and tackle power alone. The President is an optimist and that's a good thing. He made that statement with so much optimism considering the plans he had but we all know that things haven't really gone that way. Maybe we can fault him for being too absolute before doing a proper assessment of the sector talk of man proposing and...... Too much pressure is on the FG, too much dependency from states on the FG; perhaps de-centralisation of government would help relieve the federal government of some of these burdens. But again, you can't really trust state government to handle some things considering how poorly they've done in managing the allotted resources. We have states that have risen to the challenge of power shortage and come up with their own power plants. The FG musnt do everything na! Why do states receive allocations and what is the essence of their budgets? Is it to pay salaries and renovate bedroom/toilet with #100m ![]() Our states need to rise up and begin to complement the FG. They need to be more committed to alleviating some of these yearnings in their states. Afterall our people say na wen hand wash hands the both hands dey clean. Pls take it easy on the President abeg! Abi e easy to carry 170million needs of head ni? |
That passage has nothing to do with satan or anything like that. It is more of a comparison of how men accepted the gospel of the kingdom right from the time John the baptist started preaching. .....The kingdom suffereth violence! means; the kingdom came with such force and demonstration of power and the spirit that the effect upon the lives on men was undeniable. Men were liberated from sin and from the power of satan as well as all the other miracles that accompanied this advancement of the kingdom of heaven. ...And violent men taketh it by force refers to intruders who were prior to the coming of this gospel, under condemnation, wrath, judgement becos of their lost state ie gentiles, publican, harlots, tax collectors and all others despised by the jews accepted the gospel with such a violent force they were not willing to let go of it for anything else. So in summery, it talks of the good news of the kingdom which john began to preach of- which Jesus Christ introduced fully through his teachings and acts, and the rate at which outsiders, intruders or outcast people accepted this gospel ay the expense of the children of promise(jews) |
Like you put it, rumour has it.... ![]() |

Obviously this guy is being economical with the truth |
As far as we still have irresponsible guys around with nothing reasonable to do with their time, it will still continue.. |
The word is:"if music be the food of love, play on" it has nothing to do with music making one fat or develop kwashiokor. |
Is this the "new hit" ![]() Anyway back to the topic; sure we learn in marriage so external advice is important but the source matters. For me, I won't advise young married couples to seek advice from their friends(those about the same age with them) on matters of how to handle marital challenges(especially early marriage crisis). It is better they seek advice from much older/religious couples. That's a major reason why marriages have sponsors: as a sponsor your job is not to support the couple with money for their wedding, but to be a role model/mentor to them. They should be able to come to you for counsel anytime. Couples too shouldn't go for just anybody as sponsors! They should be people with successful marriages. You can seek advice from your parents but not on every matter because there's this tendency of some parent to be biased in favour of their child in the marriage. Another reason why it may not be too good to always rely on your parent or family member for counsel is that your partner may begin to feel like there's a gang-up with ur family against him or her. This is not to say you shouldn't seek advise from your family members, because am sure most parent want the best for their children but the blood you carry usually have a way of favouring its own. For me I'll advise couples to seek advice from their sponsor(or mentor couples), religious/spiritual heads(pastor and his wife or your imam and his wife), their parent/trusted family members, well respected older couple that they have close relationship with not just any old couple. But all these should be after you have talked with your partner about the issues, and nothing positive seem to be coming out. And also after you have prayed over the matter and it is as though, nothing is changing before you take it outside: you must not be quick to take every matter that happens inside your house to the outside. |

Politics of intimidation! The same way Kwankwaso ordered or appointees in Kano state to decamp to APC or be sacked from his government. I wonder how effective a government can be when there's no opposition to check-mate them. |
