I have read alot about bara and how it deals with people by purging. I've drank 3 full cups of bara and I'm still waiting to purge. Why is mine different? I cut it pieces and cooked it with both the back and seeds and pap water, uptil now I'm not purging.

If you want bara to really work,it is better you soak it with dry gin....cooking bara is not effective

good morning Mama's in the house, pls is there any herb one can take to reduce sugar in the blood? hubby has been on admission since Monday till date and the sugar isn't coming down,though it was very high before but now it reduced a bit and it's been fluntuating between 400+ to 500+

Must they come home before you can host them... You can actually host them in church and get them snacks and drinks and if it is a must for them to come to your home,it is better you get a caterer to solve this problem.

From your narrative your wife's mind is made up...I believe you can still find a caterer that will charge you between 8-10k .

I am sure she didn't like her last experience...she just did it to please you but this time around you also have to please her.

Thanks dear. I usually start by mixing my eggs, sugar and milk. Then I add water and mix then my flour mixed with baking powder and I mix the batter.. Note, it shouldn't be too thick or too runny. Then scoop and fry.

I could remember my sister in law coming to stay in my house because our close is closer to her school then.
She was pregnant too.
during I stay I had an argument with hubby, and she knew. Before I knew what happen she stated taking money from her brother to cook.
I didn't say a word to her. I just make sure to cook and eat all at once, I cook only what I can eat and not remain, I have her a dose of her pills, by letting her have the kitchen to herself.
she called me and ask what happened, I told her point straight, I can't come to your house and meet you and your husband having a quarrel then take over the cooking in the house, I can't even enter your kitchen not to talk of your pot without your approval.

Every home has a rule, I think it is high time we wives know the home is ours, if I left my father's house to marry, should I still be a stranger.
And that statement of my brother's house can so annoy me, your brother should have stayed alone nao or marry his own sister, so you won't have to drag who owns the house.

I do not have a sister in law that will want to bring a man into my home, but that act alone is bad.

My thoughts exactly... She doesnt greet me, does relate with my kids, keep referring to them as Igbos, cos I'm Igbo while my hubby is plateau. Mother in-law n hubby has corrected her abt DAT her Iyamiri statement always. Y drag innocent kids in2 our biz. Imagine kids running towards dia anty only 4her to break dia hearts by saying, go to ur mumy yara Iyamiri. Me I just ignore her anytime she does that, BT e dey pain me sha.
This is someone dat I'm 12years older than. Funny thing is I'm d last born n my elder ones are all in different states, so when my kids visit my family, d get to meet only grandpa n grandma, no anty or uncle to play with. So d r more free with my hubby family.
Whenever I try to make peace by talking to her, she just snubs me. Abeg naso I shun her join oh ogini kwa. Me 2 I av feelings na, is it d stigma dia cousin display in church had on my family? Imagine church wey dey ur area... person go the display witch craft things. Naso people started avoiding us oh, saying things like maybe my kids have been initiated too. Stopped inviting my kids 4birthday party n all dat. I losted alot of friends during dat period...Abeg d story plenty o jare. Last last, I took my kids for prayers n we relocated to a new place to get my sanity back.

You are indeed a strong woman...God will never leave you by yourself...Pls live your life and be in good health for your children and husband...As human everybody can't like us...Thank God your mother in law has realized her wrongdoing... It is people like this your sister in law that will get married and never want any in law to live with them because they can't stand them..

@Redrosely you've really tried cos its not easy to accommodate in-law ,but let me point this out; you were wrong for slapping her cos if you learnt a wife to your bro slap your younger sis how will you feel.
apologise to her for peace to reign, that's my own piece of advice.

Honestly let's call a spade a spade she wasn't wrong by slapping her....she is human.. Why do we see wives as a nobody in their matrimonial homes. The sister in law is just so spoilt and should be the one to apologize.If my brother's wife slapped my sis for bringing in a man to sleep with,I will make sure I also join my sister in law in giving my sister extra slaps so that her brain can reset to normal.

I am not saying peace should not reign but the sister in law must also be remorseful and ready to apologize... Making peace shouldn't be one sided.

You are very correct....most sellers on Jiji don't put the current price....you will be surprised when they tell you the price they posted is old when you call them and they won't bother to put the new price on their profile.

Madam I am disappointed in you.....How can you allow your mother to be the determinant to your happiness.... You should be thankful to God that you can get pregnant easily without any delay....You don't know what women looking for children face....A girl child is not a curse....No gender is more important than the other....

I wonder why some parents like to send their children to stay with relatives for them to train...it is really a bad idea...Most relatives can't take care of another person's child same way they treat their own children...Even to stay with some relatives just for few days na serious headache let alone for a longer period....They pamper their own kids and enslave another person's child.

@op you need to convince your mum to watch your sister grow under her care...it is better for her to be drinking garri peacefully with your mum than eating chicken at your uncle's place with so much pain and tears.

I contacted the guy as well. He asked me to pay and it will be waybilled to me, I refused and said I'll come or send someone to pick up dt moment he stopped chatting and blocked me. I wanted to bring it up but my wife said I should not soil his name cuz I didn't buy from him. My mistake I should have saved someone from being scammed

Really a big mistake.....pls in case of next time always endeavor to call such person out
