PoliticsRe: US Embassy: Drop Box Service On Visa Applications Now Available In Abuja by Jenk22: 3:00pm On Apr 04, 2022
Hello house,

Please, I applied for the US B1/B2 visa waver (drop-off) for an aged relative that is based in Lagos.Due to the unavailability of dates in Lagos, I was lucky to get a date in Abuja for April 21 2022.

Please, I would like to know if someone can submit (drop-off) her documents at US Abuja consulate on her behalf ?

I called the Abuja Consulate, since that's where the appointment is ,to explain my plight their response was to call the Lagos consulate for information.

Have been calling severally when the call is over 15 mins an automatic response comes saying goodbye and the call ends.

I have also reached out to DHL Isolo if they could do a drop off their representative wasn't affirmative as to whether or not they do drop off, (probably because the whole visa waiver thing just started again) but he was very sure that they do pick-up.

Please house, kindly advise if the drop off can be done on her behalf.

Thanks in advance for your responses.
