There's one thing I've learnt about freelancing, and from top freelancers like Stagger. They will come for you whether you are from Nigeria or from Kuvukiland as long as you know your stuff really well. So using the US as your nationality merely gives you transient advantages.

Between September 25th and October 10th, I received 26 invitations to job of which I rejected about a dozen which I was either not interested in or didn't match my skills. Western clients will always come for you when you have a lot of 5 star reviews, 100% Job Success Score and rapid response rate. And yes, they even give bonuses too.

So keep a really appealing profile, do aneat job, and watch them come for you. Be successful!!!

Yeah but how do you even prove the quality of work you're capable of doing if no one has given you a chance. I've been on Upwork since July and I haven't even got one job yet. Although I've received 2 invitations but I had to decline cos they were not my skill set. While I started getting jobs on truelancer almost immediately after I registered. I wish I know what I'm doing wrong on Upwork.

As far as I know I will report at lagos camp iyana ipaja since I have a call up letter already stating iyana ipaja. If they like they can change my camp location to borno state online. We were only asked to download and print our call up letters. We were not asked to print our call up letters daily.

That's risky, what if they don't register you then you have to start going to ibadan
NYSC / Re: NYSC 2014 Batch C (Stream II) by jennii(f): 12:43am On Nov 22, 2014
Everyone should check their call up letter online again o, to see if their camp address has changed. mine has changed from lagos to oyo

Hi my fellow lagos bound prospective corpers, I printed my call-up letter on monday morning and the camp address was Iyana ipaja. Today I went online again to re-print my call up letter and it now reads a camp address in oyo state. Please any suggestion regarding what camp i should report to? On my part, I will prefer camping in lagos as opposed to oyo state.

me too

1. There is a camp secretariat in camp, just try visiting, and know atleast one person that would know you well too... Just be loyal and greet wella

2. It was to hold tomorrow, but I just found out it won't any longer.

3. No... We here in lag camp, they treat us like creamies. Lol

4. Some boring, some wonderful, some inspiring... But the stuff go tire you.

5. When u get here, u can pick any that interests you, but maami makes sense wella. Hehehe.... There are lots of competitions to partake in here oh, make sure you participate if you can, people have won freezer, tv, washing machine, cash prizes e.t.c So no dull oh

6 pick a bed space close to the window, coz of the breeze and cos you can dry your clothes there. But always close ur window when u aint around, so that rain won't mess up your bed... My room has been fun maybe coz I and 7 of my nairaland and bbm cliq are in same room.

7. Yes oh. Very very compulsory.

8. Sunday

9. 150 bucks

10. Hahaha OYO for u oh. If dem catch u hmmm. About 4 days ago a guy was decamped for smoking weed and was caught... Not all corpers u see are corpers, there are SSS there and I am very serz. There's even one in my room... So just flex, but dey careful... No shaking...
